The early buyrate estimate for the 8/18 WWE Summerslam PPV is 298,000 buys according to a report by Dave Meltzer. The breakdown has the show drawing 186,000 domestic buys and 112,000 international buys. Last year's Summerslam PPV in 2012 drew 358,000 buys. These estimates do not appear to be coming officially from WWE. The company will be releasing the official buyrate for Summerslam later this year.
John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship headlined the show this year.
