* Velveteen Dream defeated Johnny Gargano to become the new NXT North American Champion…with some confusion. Per a live report, Dream hit his rolling DDT and got the pinfall. Dream posed with the title. When Dream went up the ramp, Gargano attacked him and tossed him back inside the ring. Dream went for the same elbow finish, but misses and Gargano applies the Gargano Escape. Dream taps and Gargano celebrates with the belt on stage. So it’s possible they filmed two endings to throw off spoiler reports.
