The new All Elite Wrestling promotion held a live rally in Jacksonville today just outside the TIAA Bank Field, the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars.
In addition to confirming that Double or Nothing would be taking place on May 25 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, talents associated with AEW were also confirmed.
The two biggest names to crash the rally were Chris Jericho and PAC (aka former WWE star Neville). Jericho made a surprise appearance towards the end of the rally and confirmed he had signed with AEW, while PAC confronted Hangman Page on stage after Page declared he wanted to become the first ever All Elite Wrestling Champion.
In addition to Jericho and PAC showing up, talents already confirmed for AEW that made appearances included Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson), Brandi Rhodes, Hangman Page, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky.
Britt Baker, MJF, “Bad Boy” Joey Janela and Penelope Ford also made appearances confirming their involvement with All Elite Wrestling going forward, with Baker being the first official signee as part of AEW’s women’s division.
The Khan family issued a statement earlier today talking about the launch of All Elite Wrestling and how they will be financially backing the venture in 2019.
