- Wanderlei Silva has confirmed Chael Sonnen’s claims that he has received an offer from WWE to go to WrestleMania. Or at least, that he’s had some kind of contact with WWE. Silva posted the following to his Facebook page:
I received a great proposal of WWE and now I'm wondering what you think of the idea!!! Recebi uma proposta milionária do WWE o telequete americano,e estou pensando,como pode somente os lutadores de MMA recebem pouco,apresentaram números q eu nunca vi,o que vcs acham da ideia????
WWE has denied that they made any invitation to Chael Sonnen, but as previously reported there is said to be a meeting set between them at WrestleMania. Whether this is for an on-air talent position or something else isn’t known
Opinionated View- Given what a nut Silva has become there is a good chance he saw a WWE banner ad and thinks that's the offer. I also think Silva still has some kind UFC contract that prevented him from appearing at Bellator so this could stop him. And finally I have no interest in seeing Silva or Chael at Mania.
