ROH TV Report: 3 Way For TV Title

Tonight’s show starts off with Jay Lethal complaining about having to face two men he has already beaten in a Triple Threat Match. J Diesel points out that ACH and Matt Sydal are a tag team so it is a handicap match. Truth Martini says that they are stacking the deck.
ACH says he will claim what should have been his a long time ago, the Television Title. With Matt Sydal in the ring with him, it will be different. Matt has shown him what it takes to be a high flier. Tonight, he will be motivated to win the Television Title from Jay Lethal.
We are in Nashville, Tennessee and your announcers are Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino.

Match Number One: Moose (with Stokely Hathaway and Veda Scott) versus Romantic Touch

They lock up and Moose backs Touch into the corner but he gives a clean break. Touch blows a kiss and Moose tries to punch him. Moose with an Irish whip but Moose misses a splash into the corner. Touch with a clothesline in the corner. Moose stops a suplex attempt with a knee and then he hits a vertical choke slam.

Touch with a kick and he does the Sexy Party but Moose with a shoulder tackle. Touch lands on his feet when Moose pulls away from the ropes. Touch with a kick and he goes to the turnbuckles but Moose with a shoulder tackle. Moose tries to hit Snake Eyes but Moose is sent into the turnbuckles. Touch with a knee and punches.

Moose sends Touch over the top rope to the floor and Hathaway tries to hit Touch with his shoe but he misses. Touch picks up Veda and throws her to Hathaway and he drop kicks Hathaway. Touch with a shoulder and he flips into the ring but Moose with a POUNCE and spear for the three count.

Winner: Moose

We go to commercial.

We are back and The Decade is in the ring. Jimmy Jacobs says that as he looks around, he is proud to say that this is the house that the Decade built. You might not appreciate what he just said because you cheer Alberto El Patron when he comes to Ring of Honor. You cheer when Kevin Steen walks out of Ring of Honor. You cheer AJ Styles when he comes in and out of Ring of Honor as he pleases.
Jimmy points out that they have been here the entire time. The scars on his body and the blood they have shed is real. That is what built this house. They will continue to do that with him, BJ Whitmer, and Adam Page. They will do it without Roddy. Roddy is the most selfish wrestler. He said that he will regain his crown. Roddy wants this to be a monarchy. Meanwhile, the Decade will look out for everyone else. Now that Adam Page is no longer a young boy, he is coming into his own. There is room for a new young boy in the Decade. Tonight, three guys get an opportunity to show what they have.

BJ takes the mic and he says three is good, but four is better. BJ says he has decided to remove himself from the match so they can see a fourth talent who could be their next young boy. He tells Chris LaRusso that he is getting the opportunity of a lifetime so BJ tells Chris not to disappoint him.
Before the next match, BJ Whitmer goes to the announce table and he explains the good deed that the Decade is doing tonight and he sarcastically says hello to Corino.

Match Number Two: Jimmy Jacobs, Chris LeRusso, and Adam Page versus Leon St. Giovani, Shaheem Ali, and Chris Chambers

LeRusso and Leon start things off and LeRusso with a kick and forearm to the back. LeRusso drops Leon onto the top rope and he sends him back to the mat followed by a leaping leg drop and he gets a near fall. Leon with a jaw breaker and butterfly suplex. Chambers tags in and he punches LeRusso. LeRusso with punches but Chambers with a drop kick for a near fall. Chambers tries for a suplex but LeRusso lands on his feet.

Chambers sends LeRusso over the top rope to the floor and Page attacks Chambers from behind. Page sends Chambers into the turnbuckles and he bits Chambers in the forehead. Jacobs and Page punch Chambers. Page with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow. Page with a wrist clutch fallaway slam for a near fall. Page sends Chambers into Jacobs’ boots.

Jacobs tags in and he bites Chambers in the head and chokes him in the ropes. Jacobs goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a tornado suplex.

While the action continues in the ring, there is a bit of a tussle between Whitmer and Corino when Whitmer takes Corino’s head set one more time. BJ says something to Steve’s son who is working the ring crew.

LeRusso and Ali tag in and Ali with chops and an elbow. Ali with a head and leg suplex but Page with a kick and then he hits the slingshot lariat on Ali. Jacobs with a spear to Leon. Page with a Jig n Tonic for the three count.

Winners: Jimmy Jacobs, Adam Page, and Chris LeRusso

After the match, Whitmer attacks LeRusso and hits a Saito Suplex and he puts LeRusso in his version of the Strong Hold.

Jay Briscoe says that they told Maria they had something up their sleeve. Mark Briscoe says you should see ODB training with the big man. Mark says he has Taven taken care of while Jay says he has Bennett taken care of. For the Queen of the Kingdom, they have the Duchess of the Double Wide. They are coming for them next week.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Caprice Coleman joins Steve and Kevin for the final Top Prospect Tournament first round match.

Kevin announces that Jay Lethal will defend the Ring of Honor Television Title against Alberto El Patron. Kevin mentions that the match will take place regardless of whether Lethal is champion or not.

Match Number Three: Ashley Sixx versus Dalton Castle (with fan carrying manservants) in a Top Prospect Tournament First Round Match

Before the match, Dalton holds out his hand for Sixx to kiss but Sixx bites the hand and he chops Castle. Castle with an Irish whip but Sixx slides into the corner. Sixx punches and kicks Castle in the corner. Castle puts the referee in front of Sixx and Castle with a knee and he hits a belly-to-back suplex and he kicks Sixx and hits a splash for a near fall.

Castle with a knee drop followed by a punch in the corner and a snap mare and elbow to the neck. Castle with a rear chin lock. Castle runs Sixx into the turnbuckles after Sixx connects with a few punches. Sixx with an elbow and then he kicks Castle. Sixx sends Castle into the turnbuckles and he goes up top.

Castle catches Sixx off the turnbuckles and after a bearhug, he hits a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Sixx with elbows to Castle followed by Code Zero for a near fall. Sixx sends Castle into the ropes and then he hits a splash and goes to the floor. Sixx goes up top and misses a move from the top but he hits a knee but Castle with the Bang-a-Rang for a near fall.

We see two men in red masks watching from the crowd and Kevin mentions that those are the people who have been sending messages on recent television episodes.

Castle misses a running knee into the corner and he goes to the floor. Sixx with a suicide dive followed by a boot to the head and hits the Six Year Itch for the three count.

Winner: Ashley Sixx (Advances to face Donovan Dijak in the semi finals)

We go to commercial.

We are back and Adam Cole makes his way to the ring and his arm is in a sling. Adam looks around and he goes to the floor and he takes Bobby Cruise’s chair and he stands in front of Steve Corino. Corino wants to know what is wrong. Cole looks at Corino and Kelly before returning to the ring.
Cole sits down in the center of the ring and he looks like he is going to say something.

Cole drops the mic and he holds up his hand and it has been blurred because he shows the wrong finger to the camera.

Cole walks to the back and we go to commercial.

Match Number Four: ACH versus Matt Sydal versus Jay Lethal (with Truth Martini) for the Ring of Honor Television Title

Before they lock up, Lethal reminds Sydal and ACH that he beat them both. Lethal rolls to the floor when cornered by ACH and Sydal. Lethal reminds ACH and Sydal this isn’t a handicap match. Sydal and ACH lock up as Lethal watches from the floor. Sydal with a clean break and he hits a pescado onto Lethal. Sydal rolls Lethal into the ring and ACH with forearms and a chop. Lethal with a knee to ACH.

Sydal with kicks and chops but Lethal with a knee to Sydal. Sydal and ACH with a double drop kick to Lethal and he goes back to the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and ACH chops Lethal but Lethal with a take down and he catapults ACH into Sydal to knock Sydal off the apron. Lethal sends ACH into the turnbuckles and he chops ACH. Lethal with more chops to ACH and then he kicks and chokes ACH. Lethal with a suplex to ACH for a near fall. Lethal sends ACH to the floor and then he knocks Sydal off the apron.

Lethal with a suicide dive onto ACH and then he hits one on Sydal on the other side of the ring. Lethal poses on the turnbuckles while Martini does a lap around the ring. Lethal chops ACH against the guardrails despite a fan trying to tell Lethal not to do it. Lethal chops ACH again and rolls him into the ring.

Lethal gets a near fall. Sydal returns to the ring but Lethal elbows him to the floor again. Lethal puts ACH in the tree of woe. Lethal sets for the baseball slide into the corner but he stops when he sees Sydal get on the apron. Sydal with a forearm to Lethal followed by an enzuigiri to return ACH into the tree of woe. Sydal with a slingshot head scissors to Lethal and a baseball slide knees to ACH.
Sydal with a series of kicks to Lethal followed by a leg sweep and standing moonsault for a near fall on ACH. Lethal sends Sydal to the floor and Jay puts ACH on the turnbuckles. Lethal with a chop and punches. ACH stops Lethal’s attempt to superplex Lethal. Sydal gets on the ropes as well and he tries for a sunset flip power bomb on Lethal but Lethal lands on his feet. Lethal with punch to the temple but Sydal with a kick. ACH with a double stomp to the back of Sydal’s neck. ACH with an Irish whip to Lethal but Lethal with a boot. ACH with a roaring elbow followed by a German suplex but Sydal breaks up the cover.

ACH misses two round kicks but he does not miss the third. Sydal and Lethal are on the floor and ACH with Air Jordan onto Sydal and Lethal but ACH holds his back after landing. ACH with a slingshot flatline and then he goes up top for the 450 splash but Sydal moves and ACH is able to roll through. Sydal misses a kick and ACH misses a few kicks. Sydal with a knee to ACH and Sydal goes up top for a shooting star press but Lethal approaches. Sydal with a kick and he falls on top of ACH.
Sydal goes up top and hits a shooting star press on ACH when Lethal moves. Lethal with a super kick to break up the cover. Lethal hits Lethal Injection on Sydal, but Sydal falls to the floor. Lethal sets for the Lethal Injection but ACH grabs Lethal. Lethal hits the Lethal Combination followed by the Lethal Injection for the three count.

Winner: Jay Lethal

After the match, Martini holds up one of Alberto’s shirts and puts it on ACH. Lethal attacks ACH and Alberto makes his way to the ring and he kicks Lethal from behind and Alberto chases Jay to the back.
