El Rey Network executives are reportedly happy with Lucha Underground’s ratings. It was recently added to Dish Network and Sling TV streaming, so it’s gaining more viewers.
– Some in the company believe that there need to be more former WWE stars to have familiar names and build an audience. There are others who are against bringing in established names unless they can work the lucha style.
– Lucha Underground is currently thinking about touring Hispanic markets on the west coast.
– Jim Ross’ agent Barry Bloom is once again talking with the promotion about hiring Ross. \
– Torrie Wilson and Lisa Marie Varon were backstage at the February 7 tapings. Varon has shown interest in working for them. She recently moved from Chicago to California.
– Alberto El Patron missed the most recent tapings because he was on vacation.
– Shawn Daivari debuted at the most recent tapings. He’s currently feuding with El Texano Jr.
Opinionated View- I would be against them brining in WWE guys. LU needs to be different you can't be different with guys people saw jobbed out for years. More evidence bringing in Del Rio was stupid when he can't even show up for the taping after his debut. Don't bring in Ross just like Striker go solo.
