WWE star Santino Marella announced his retirement as an active member of the roster at a live event in Toronto on Sunday according to multiple wrestling media reports. He revealed that he suffered a third neck injury recently and would have to retire from the ring. Santino had stated in a recent interview that he was getting ready to wrap up his in-ring career.
WWE has yet to publicly comment on the announce as of Sunday evening.
Opinionated View- Smart move. How ever I may feel about Santino as a performer or gimmick I don't want to see the guy get hurt.
