- There was discussion of pairing Rob Van Dam with Paul Heyman when he returned to WWE. Due to the positive fan reaction he received during the MITB videos, and the fact that Heyman is a heel manager, the company nixed the plans of pairing the two together.
Opinionated View- Honestly RVD is stale at this point a heel turn might be the only thing that might freshen him up would be a heel turn I don't think he's been a heel since the Invasion Days.
