According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon wasn’t happy with the Steve Austin/Paul Heyman podcast bringing up the idea of a Brock Lesnar vs. Steve Austin match at WrestleMania 32. As previously reported, Heyman asked about the idea of a match and Austin went into “promo mode” about it before later saying on his audio podcast that he wasn’t trying to set up such a match, which he said wasn’t likely to happen.
The site reports that Austin and Lesnar have talked about the match in the past, as it’s the biggest one they could probably do. Heyman is friends with both and there was thought to be some potential for the match. Heyman asked the question anyway and Austin was ready with an answer; there was some plan to go this way in the conversation, but Heyman didn’t know what Austin’s response would be.
McMahon was reportedly unhappy because the match won’t happen and they can’t deliver on the possibility that was raised. McMahon wanted the story to go away quickly and hoped that Austin addressing it on the audio podcast would be enough to make it go away.
PWInsider reports that Heyman was asked about the potential of the match on Chael Sonnen’s podcast and said that he legitimately caught Ausin off-guard with the question. He said that Austin’s jump into promo mode was because Austin believes that everything about his character is real. Heyman added that he couldn’t sit through a full hour talking with Austin and not bring the question up, but noted that the chances of the match happening are nil and that Austin will give a “plethora of reasons” why that’s the case.
Heyman said that he hopes Austin is involved with WrestleMania 32 considering it is in Texas but isn’t interested if Austin does a match with someone other than Lesnar, so he brought up the question for selfish reasons. Sonnen said he thought Heyman was working him and that the match will happen. Heyman responded that if there was any chance of it that Austin would play the rumors up and build anticipation, not shoot the rumor down as he did on his audio podcast.

Steve Austin Says He’s Not Setting Up a Match With Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32
During the latest episode of the Steve Austin Podcast, Steve Austin took the time to address the possible Austin vs. Lesnar match at WrestleMania 32. The match started to get talk last week following the Austin podcast with Paul Heyman on the WWE Network.
Austin said that he had no clue what Heyman would be saying on the show, so when Heyman brought up the Lesnar situation, Austin said he went into promo mode. He felt that this was the right thing to do for the Austin character, but did not mean to falsely raise the expectations of the fans. He also noted that it was not his intention to set up a match, that he and Lesnar would be doing different things going forward and that he wasn’t trying to set up a WrestleMania match.
Opinionated View- Good we already got to many senior citizens already linked to Mania. We know Taker is getting a match, we know Triple H's ego demands he's on the card. Hogan is begging to get on the card. Of course knowing WWE and the rumors they want to break records odds are Austin will wins up facing Vince or something.

News and Notes for Survivor Series Pre Show
It was announced on WWE Raw tonight that a “new and improved” Fandango, with Rosa Mendes, will be in action during the WWE Survivor Series kickoff show. Also announced was the return of Bad News Barrett, who will be delivering some bad news. Paul Heyman will be on the show as well, most likely as a panelist.
Opinionated View- Paried up with Rosa well that is the kiss of death for Fandango. Barrett has talent but this gimmick was going no where. Who cares about Heyman anymore.

Brock Lesnar Interview to Air on Raw Tonight
- During his appearance on The MMA Hour, Paul Heyman stated that a special Brock Lesnar interview will air on Raw tonight. Heyman described the interview as one of the most candid interviews Lesnar has done, and that it is fascinating. He noted that the interview was not scripted, and that the WWE writers had nothing to do with the interview.
Some of the topics covered in the interview will be:
People's expectations of Lesnar
John Cena
Beating the Undertaker's streak
Heyman also noted that he will not be at Raw tonight, instead he will be at home watching the show.
Opinionated View- It's nice they filmed something since Brock and Cena won't be there and they are only main eventing one of the biggest shows of the year.

Why Did WWE Split Up Cesaro and Paul Heyman?
WWE still has plans to capitalize on the Cesaro and Paul Heyman relationship, despite the two having gone their separate ways on WWE programming. According to the report, WWE is still discussing a match between Brock Lesnar and Cesaro, and the "amicable split" mentioned on WWE Raw is the beginning of a build to something bigger.
WWE split up Cesaro and Heyman because Lesnar was returning and WWE wanted to have Heyman fully involved in Lesnar's return and his upcoming WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.
Opinionated View- They really blew the whole Heyman and Cesaro thing. There sole reason for putting them together was to give Heyman a reason to out there so he could brag about Lesnar beating Undertaker. And if your planning to have Cesaro take on Brock you should be building him up instead though he might be lower on the card than he was before Mania.

Update on Another Star Set to Make His WWE Return (SPOILERS)
The reason that Paul Heyman was kept away from Cesaro on last night's Raw was because Brock Lesnar is returning shortly. Lesnar could return as soon as Monday's Raw in Miami, Florida. Once Lesnar returns, Heyman's on screen focus will be with Lesnar and building to his Summerslam match.

Reason Cesaro and Paul Heyman Were Kept Off Raw
- Cesaro and Paul Heyman were intentionally kept off Monday's edition of RAW. WWE did this because they were going to feature the two on WWE Main Event, and wanted to use them to give people an incentive to watch the show. This is similar to what they did with John Cena the week before.

Chael Sonnen Says Paul Heyman 'Saved' The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3
- In a recent interview with Wrestling Observer Radio, UFC fighter and analyst Chael Sonnen said Paul Heyman saved the current season of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, which sees Chael Sonnen coaching against rival Wanderlei Silva. Below are some highlights:
Sonnen on contacting Heyman because he was starting to become a "babyface" character because of Wanderlei Silva's actions, which he didn't want: "I've never met him, but I know what he's done. He's a little bit older than me, so I felt I could trust him. I'm breaking a confidentiality agreement but there were circumstances where I was jammed up and I had to make an executive decision...To say he was ruining the show may be extreme, but the interaction between he and I is an element of the show that's important. There has to be the interaction of the coaches. It's an important factor. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how to handle this. This is the same time I'm losing my grip on my character as a heel. I can feel it slipping away. He's being aggressive. He's skipping practices. He's partying. I don't know what to do. I don't know how to handle this...Paul was a guy that even without knowing him, I knew I could trust him. We have mutual friends, Brock Lesnar and (former pro wrestling headliner) CM Punk. I knew he was an expert in psychology and I was stuck, working through this spot, having to deal with this, [Silva] not talking to me and the reversal of roles that I didn't see coming."
Sonnen on the advice Heyman gave him: "He told me, `Listen, you have to shoot (be completely real, not holding back verbally) on him. If he's not playing along, you have to drop everything and shoot on him.' He laid it out a lot more aggressive than that. `You have to drop everything and come clean.' He went into it a lot more detail than that. In many ways, Paul Heyman saved Ultimate Fighter (Brazil) 3. He kept his word. He kept his secrecy up. So not only should we thank Paul for the huge ratings, but we can also blame him for all the bad things."

Triple H Takes Shot at CM Punk on Raw, Punk Not Included in Video Package
- During the main event interview last night on Raw, Triple H took a shot at CM Punk as he spoke to Daniel Bryan. Triple H noted that he threw a lot at Bryan and that he didn't, "take his ball and go home" like others had. The live crowd picked up on this right away and started to chant for Punk.
- During the video presentation from Paul Heyman, many picked up that the WWE did not include clips of CM Punk. The video package was showing The Undertaker's victories over recent WrestleMania opponents, and then Brock Lesnar's destruction of those same men. Punk faced the Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, and then faced Lesnar at Summerslam 2013.

Ryback to Feud With Brock Lesnar?
- Ryback may turn babyface for a feud with Brock Lesnar. Current plans reportedly involve Ryback feuding with Lesnar after a babyface turn stemming from Heyman dismissing him as potential "Paul Heyman Guy" on Raw. He would then feud with Lesnar with a match taking place at the Royal Rumble.
Meanwhile, WWE officials still want a Ryback/Goldberg match for WrestleMania XXX but most don't expect it to happen because Goldberg would very likely be asked to do the job. Goldberg said earlier this year that he wouldn't come back to the company just to lose.

Opinionated VIew- Because they want to see if they have a worse match the Ryback vs Henry and Triple H vs Lesnar from Mania 29? I mean this match would be awful.

Paul Heyman May Not Be Back On TV Until Brock Lesnar Returns
Paul Heyman's TV status is currently in question after WWE ended his feud with CM Punk at Hell in a Cell. There were plans for it to continue into December, but WWE decided to end it early.
There is now doubt that Heyman will continue to work with Ryback. There were reports that Ryback had heat on him, but now these appear to be false. While Heyman was backstage at RAW this week, he may not be back on WWE TV until Brock Lesnar returns.
Opinionated View- I am glade they ended the feud with Punk and Heyman since it was getting stale. Not helped by the fact with Brock gone we got freaking Ryback instead.

Is There Backstage Heat on Ryback?
- There is reportedly a lot of heat on Ryback from the WWE over the last month. There is a feeling backstage that Ryback's in-ring work has regressed. In addition, many WWE officials are rumored to feel that Ryback is becoming more of a danger in the ring for his opponents and has been roughing up other workers, such as CM Punk.
Another reason that Ryback has heat is because his recent media appearance have not gone as well as planned. There are reportedly talks that Ryback acts like he does not want to be at the events and is hard to deal with. One source said that Ryback looks constantly "annoyed" when making appearances for the WWE. The report also states that Vince McMahon is considering taking Paul Heyman off of Ryback, so Heyman can work with another wrestler. A quote that was said about Ryback is "the bloom is off the rose" unless he can turn things around.
Opinionated View- The fact is Ryback sucks and always has. He sucked in post Tough Enough Appearance in OVW back in the day. He sucked in FCW he sucked in NXT he sucked in NEXUS. And he sucks now. The fact he ever got a huge push was due to the face Vince love powerlifters.

Update on WWE Adding a Second Hell in a Cell Match to The Upcoming PPV
- Originally, WWE was only planning to have one Hell in a Cell match at the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV. Vince McMahon decided to make the CM Punk vs. Ryback and Paul Heyman match a cell match. This was because he felt the match needed more intrigue, especially since they did a similar match last month with Punk vs. Heyman and Curtis Axel.

Details Behind Paul Heyman/Ryback Raw Angle
On Raw, there was a tease of Paul Heyman wanting to marry Ryback after he "saved" Heyman at Night of Champions. Instead, Heyman proposed that Ryback become the latest "Paul Heyman Guy." Vince McMahon was reportedly behind the shock tactic taking place after making it clear to members of the writing staff that they feature "a spectacle" to lure viewers of ESPN's Monday Night Football away during halftime. An unnamed creative writer then pitched the idea of teasing Heyman asking Ryback for his hand in marriage.
Opinionated View- That segment was so stupid. And shock? The only shock was how stupid you were to put it on the air.
