Undertaker’s WWE Deal Expiring Soon, Expected To Sign New Agreement

The Undertaker’s current WWE contract is set to end soon. When that happens, it’s believed that he’ll sign a new deal with the company. It may not be a normal long-term contract but it will be more than the usual Legends deal that wrestlers like him sign at this point in their careers. It has been rumored that Undertaker will be back for Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas (his home state of Texas), which is also rumored to be his retirement match.

Update on Undertaker’s WrestleMania 32 Status

Undertaker was reportedly telling those backstage that he felt great after his match with Bray Wyatt and that he planned to work next year’s WrestleMania 32 event. That event will take place in Dallas, TX.

Undertaker shared a locker room with Sting at WrestleMania, and also shared the same flight back to Texas. The site reports that they had discussions about working together, possibly next year at WrestleMania. That was reportedly WWE’s plan when they brought Sting in, but WWE Management has cooled on long term plans for Sting.

Opinionated View- Oh fuck here we go. First months on end of reports like this. Second to all the morons that are marking out over this I got news for you the match will suck. Taker has sucked for years and Sting has lost it no matter what some sheep were chanting. And I'm sick of Mania being old guys rule all night.

WWE To Do Undertaker Retirement Match at WrestleMania Next Year?

- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE is considering having the Undertaker’s retirement match at WrestleMania 32. The idea would be to pair the match with a Hall of Fame induction the night before the show, as the show is at Cowboys Stadium and that’s the Dead Man’s home state.
Of course, this is dependent on his physical condition. The site notes that Undertaker has previously said he didn’t think he could last until that point, but with the fact that he is facing Bray Wyatt this year, it is a possibility. A lot is said to be dependent on how he performs against Wyatt and how he’s feeling after. WWE wants to set the all-time attendance record at Cowboys Stadium and is considering adding as many legends who can go as possible.

Opinionated View- Oh for fuck's sake if Taker is going to retire than just do it. And for anyone about to claim "Undertaker is a legend he deserves to have this..." Taker's had enough dick sucking and ass kissing the last decade or so. Put him in the hall of fame but don't give him a mania match it's a joke he's on it again.

And oh god a bunch of old guys crammed onto the card last thing we need. I'm sick of legends because WWE over uses them so much it's not special anymore.

WWE Keeping Another Superstar Off TV Until WrestleMania 31, Backstage Update On The Undertaker

Regarding speculation that WWE may have changed plans for The Undertaker and could bring him to RAW now that Bray Wyatt's WrestleMania 31 challenge has been accepted, word coming out of last night's RAW is that those plans have not changed. The plan as of today is to still keep The Undertaker away until his entrance at WrestleMania.

Another Superstar we won't see until WrestleMania 31 is Sheamus. WWE has been airing return vignettes for Sheamus for several weeks now but the current plan is to have his first appearance be at WrestleMania. There's still no word yet on what match he will be working but it likely will be the Intercontinental Title Ladder Match or the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

More On The Undertaker Staying Off WWE TV Until WrestleMania

- We noted before that WWE's current plan is for The Undertaker to stay off TV until WrestleMania 31. It should be noted that while he's not scheduled to be on TV, Taker will respond to Bray Wyatt's challenge in some way, possibly as soon as Monday's RAW.

Update On When Undertaker Will Return To WWE TV (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

The current plan in WWE is to keep The Undertaker off of TV until Wrestlemania 31. That means that he will not appear on RAW or Smackdown to help build to his match with Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania. The idea is to create mystery as WWE fans don’t know where ‘Taker is, what he looks like, what condition he’s in or if he’ll show up at all. WWE believes that this will lead to a surprise when Undertaker actually shows up at Wrestlemania 31 to fight Bray Wyatt.

Opinionated View- Well anyone that has seen any photo of video of Taker knows he looks awful these days. So odds are they figure seeing him TV will actually discourage people from buying the show.

Possible Problem For Undertaker/Wyatt Wrestlemania Match

If WWE books Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31, they will have to book the match late if they want both men to have their normal ring entrances. Obviously when both men enter the lights are out. The problem is that sunset in Santa Clara, California during March is 7:30 PM local time, which would be hours into the show

Opinionated View-They also have to book the match because Undertaker is so slow it will take him 3 hours to get to the ring. The bigger problem is them planning to do this match. Taker is to old to beat up and now that the streak has been broken he can't even give Wyatt a huge rub. Of course this being Taker he no doubt would refuse to put Wyatt over.

Undertaker Reportedly Not In Good Shape

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Undertaker was seen recently and was described as in “almost shocking” shape. The site reports that their source said Taker looked like a man in his sixties, and that he moved as if his knees were gone.

The plan is still reportedly to have Undertaker face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, although that hasn’t been announced yet.

Opinionated View- And how is this different from how Taker has looked for nearly a decade? I know when it comes to legends some people hate to accept the truth but Taker should retired a long time ago.

News on Will Be The Next WWE Hall of Famer and Who Won't Be

The next inductee for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame will be announced tonight. It is expected to be “The Crippler” Ray Stevens, a friend and former tag team partner of Pat Patterson. Patterson has been pushing for his induction and will likely be the one to see him into the Hall. The two teamed together as The Blond Bombers and won the NWA and AWA Tag Team titles together.
Meanwhile, there are reports that The Undertaker will be announced tonight, but these reports are false. They are coming from a Twitter account claiming to represent The Schottenstein Center. The real account, @TheSchott, is taking action against the fake account.

Note On Why Bray Wyatt Won On RAW

According to The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestlezone), the fact that Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose could be a sign that the WWE believes Undertaker is coming back. There have been previous reports that the company wants to keep Wyatt strong for a potential match with Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31. While the decision shocked some people backstage, it could be seen as a sign that in WWE’s eyes, Wyatt is more important than Ambrose right now.

Opinionated View- So we are killing off Ambrose push to build up Wyatt so he can turn around and lose to Undertaker. God I hate the WWE. Last you had your chance to build Wyatt but you blew that by having him lose to Cena. Now you tearing down Ambrose.

The Undertaker Will Reportedly Appear At Wrestlemania 31 In Some Capacity

WWE wants to induct The Undertaker into the 2015 Hall of Fame if he decides not to wrestle at Wrestlemania 31. Either way, they are planning on Undertaker making an appearance in some capacity. That’s why he was included in advertisements even though it’s unknown if he’ll wrestle.
WWE is still hoping he will compete and are preparing Bray Wyatt to be his opponent.

Opinionated View- Dear lord I pray he doesn't wrestle. Taker hasn't had a good match in years outside of the one at Mania Punk carried him to. The last match was the fucking pits last thing we need is for him to come back and beat Wyatt.

The Undertaker to Work With Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31?

The Wrestling Observer has a report on potential booking plans for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. Recently, some of the promotional tour busses for the WWE for WrestleMania 31 featured The Undertaker painted, suggesting that he will be a part of the show.
Per the Observer’s report, the booking plan is said to be The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt, as long as The Undertaker is physically able to wrestle. The Undertaker has reportedly not given word if he is able to work the show yet.
The report also says there is a chance Undertaker could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year if his in-ring career is over. However, there has been talk for years that Undertaker would retire at Cowboys Stadium, which will be the host venue for WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
In addition, The Undertaker is under a seven-figure downside guarantee contract, and WWE wants to get the most it can out of the deal.

Opinionated View- If this is true poor Bray. This will finish all any fire he has left.

The Undertaker Reportedly In WWE’s Wrestlemania 31 Plans

The Undertaker is reportedly in the WWE’s plans for Wrestlemania 31. This news follows the use of the Phenom in promotional material for the event, including wraps on production buses and trucks.
The debut of Sting at Survivor Series is expected to eventually lead to a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania

Opinionated View- NO NO NO! Taker shouldn't be wrestling. He can't move, He hasn't had a good match in years (Outside of the one Punk carried him to) and we have to many old guys running right now

Latest Update on The Undertaker

The Undertaker was at last night's NXT TV tapings at Full Sail University and told everyone that he would be working with developmental going forward as an advisor according to a report by Mike Johnson. Undertaker will reportedly head to Orlando at the WWE Performance Center on a limited basis to help out and give advice to NXT talent. Undertaker's last appearance for WWE was at WrestleMania 30 and it is unclear whether he will wrestle again.

Opinionated View- Taker should never wrestle again. He's looked awful for years and his health makes me worry he could drop dead in the ring. But him working developmental could backfire we all know what an jackass he can be. How he's "Old school." I wonder how long it will take for him to say "We can't push ______ he has't made his bones."

The Undertaker Reportedly ‘Not Doing Well’

Per a concert report from Rajah.com, Fred Durst revealed at a Limp Bizkit concert last night in San Antonio, Texas that WWE Superstar The Undertaker (real name Mark Calaway) isn’t well. During Limp Bizkit’s set, Durst dedicated a song to The Undertaker and said “he’s not doing real well.” Durst did not go into details regarding his friend.
Durst stated, “This next song goes out to our friend Mark Calaway , The Undertaker. He’s not doing real well right now and we want all our fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.”
The band then played song “Rollin,” which The Undertaker formerly used as his theme song during his American Badass gimmick phase.

Opinionated View- Not sure how much you can trust Durst. Not saying he would lie but what is he considers not doing well. Could it just be Taker is sore and beat up or is he he's sick?

Undertaker Telling Friends It's Not Looking Good For Wrestlemania 31

The Undertaker is still said to be banged up from the concussion he received during his match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30. Even though he's been working out, he has told those close to him that it's "not looking good" for Wrestlemania 31.

He's said to be in bad shape after his injury and his status for the event is unknown. A decision on whether or not he will compete won't be made until the end of the year at the earliest.

Opinionated View- Well the Undertaker hasn't looked good in years! He does not belong in a wrestling ring. And don't talk about how sad it will be if he's not at Mania there was WrestleMania before him there have Mania's he's missed and the guy has been more of them than nay other wrestler. He's had his day in the sun time to let other people take over.

Update on the Undertaker

The latest on The Undertaker (Mark Calaway) is that he is back in the gym training after suffering a concussion in his match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30. He's privately said that a return to the ring at Wrestlemania 31 next year isn't look good according to a report by Dave Meltzer. His return to the ring is normally touch and go over the course of the year so as the show gets closer more discussion always tends to start up again.

Opinionated View- I hope he doesn't wrestle. Taker has looked awful for years. It's time to retire for good.

New Report Suggests It Wasn't The Undertaker's Call To End The Streak

According to a new report by The Wrestling Observer, it wasn't the Undertaker's decision to end his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania XXX this year. However, if he truly didn't want to end the streak, he could have fought the decision and stopped it. It was Vince McMahon who made the call to have Brock Lesnar win.

The original plan was for Undertaker to get the win. A few days before the show, McMahon changed his mind, likely having seen the Undertaker's physical condition and thinking that it could be his last match. Vince decided that if the streak was going to end, it was now or never. There are mixed reports on Taker's reaction to the decision, one source claims he had to be talked into the decision while another said he didn't argue at all.

Opinionated View- I still can't believe they gave it to Brock.  The streak ending isn't the issue the issue is it went to freaking Brock.

More on Referee Not Knowing Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar Finish

- As we mentioned last week, the Wrestling Observer reported that referee Chad Patton was not among the select few who were informed of the finish to the Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker match at WrestleMania 30. I know, it sounds a bit far-fetched to me too. The site has updated its story now, stating that there are some backstage in WWE who suspect that either Undertaker or Lesnar may have clued him in while they were in the ring.

The report says that before the match, Patton was taken aside and told to count to three if either had their shoulders pinned, with one exception: if/when Undertaker applied the Hell's Gate, Undertaker's shoulders weren't to be counted until he was done with the maneuver.

Vince McMahon and WWE Reportedly Unhappy Over Fan Reaction to Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30

- F4WOnline.com reports that Vince McMahon and other WWE officials were not necessarily satisfied with the fan reaction after the finish for The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. The expected shock was there, however WWE was looking for a more appropriate reaction to the sendoff of The Undertaker.

Opinionated View- WELL DUH! You have a part time vs a one match a year guy. The match sucked. No one expected you to be stupid enough to have the streak broken by a guy like Brock. The finish was poorly done. So yeah of course people did't react like you wanted to because you do a good enough job to make them react.
