At this time, all of the previously announced CHIKARA dates have been cancelled. They are expected to be converted into live events presented by the promotion's various "Wrestling Is..."satellitepromotions. As it stands, CHIKARA as a brand is finished for the time being. Whether that's the end of the promotion or some really intricate angle and storyline remains to be seen.
There was no official announcement as to what was going on in thelockerroom, but small groups of talents were talked too, and the roster was asked to signed non-disclosure agreements before last night's event. Several CHIKARA regulars have started reaching out to independent promoters looking forworkto replace their CHIKARA dates that were set for the summer.
As previously reported, there were some incidents with the fans at the end of the iPPV. There was a fan that shoulder-blocked a glass door and ended up breaking. There was also a fan who was very loud and refused to leave the Trocadero'sboxoffice, demanding a refund. He was described as "the worst stereotypical wrestling fan tantrum you could imagine."
