New Main Event For Impact Wrestling Redemption

Impact Wrestling has announced a new main event for their Impact: Redemption PPV following Alberto El Patron’s release. The company announced at Saturday night’s House of Hardcore show that the main event will see Austin Aries, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. do battle for the Impact World Championship. That match is a rematch from the Impact vs. Lucha Underground show that took place on Friday night.

Impact was forced to change the main event of Friday’s show after El Patron no-showed the event. The company announced on Saturday that they had released El Patron due to his failure to attend the show. A clip of Aries announcing the new main event from the HoH show is below:

Opinionated View- That should be an awesome match. Now me personally though I would have  had it be Drake or Johnny Impact or Moose. That said that would also require other changes to the card and give away something you could/should build for another PPV.
