Following his arrest early Sunday morning for domestic battery and false imprisonment of his wife (independent star Su Yung), WWE 205 Live star Rich Swann is no longer listed as being held at the Alachua County Jail in Gainesville, Florida.
It is also noted in a new report by Mike Johnson that Swann’s case has been assigned to a judge in Florida, so the charges against Swann will begin their process in the coming days.
If convicted for domestic battery (first-degree misdemeanor), Swann faces up to one year in jail or probation and a $1,000 fine. If convicted of false imprisonment (third-degree felony), Swann faces up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
WWE immediately suspended Swann indefinitely as part of their zero tolerance policy against domestic violence upon news of his arrest breaking on Sunday.
Swann’s arrest has since been picked up as a national media story by the Associated Press and the New York Times as of this writing.
