Backstage Update on Joe vs. Lesnar and long term Lesnar Plans

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar match is scheduled to be a one off match. Joe vs. Lesnar is set to headline the WWE Great Balls of Fire PPV. From there, nothing has really changed, as Lesnar is scheduled to face Braun Strowman at Summerslam in August. WWE also plans to do Finn Balor vs. Lesnar and Seth Rollins vs. Lesnar as they build to Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34.


Opinionated View- See this is why I'm not excited for Joes title shot. He's just in there to fill time. And man this shows how stubborn WWE has become. Strowman is out hurt and by all accounts him being back for SummerSlam itself much less in time to build it up is going to be a long shot. Yet they are so married to the idea that is still the plan (of course it's Dave so I should be careful) 

And man is that match going to suck. Sloppy suplexs vs. forearm clubs. Even worse it's all being built up another god damn awful Lesnar vs. Reigns match and Lesnar holding the belt a year and only defending it 3 times.
