WWE.com is featuring an article revealing changes to the commentary teams for RAW and Smackdown live going forward on Monday and Tuesday nights on the USA Network.
RAW’s commentary team now includes Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves every Monday night. Smackdown Live’s commentary team on Tuesday night is now Mauro Ranallo, JBL and David Otunga.
It’s interesting to note that Jerry Lawler is not included on either commentary team. Lawler did not provide any comments on his Twitter as of late Tuesday night
Changes were also revealed late Tuesday night for the WWE Main Event and WWE Superstars shows. Tom Phillips will be the lead for both shows and will be joined by Corey Graves on Superstars and David Otunga on Main Event.
Opinionated View- NO LAWLER?! THANK YOU GOD ABOVE! Long over due to put him out to pasture he hasn't been good in years. Smackdown won't be good. JBL I like to a point but he has some real bad ont. Ranallo sucked calling MMA he sucks calling boxing and he sucks even worse with wrestling. Never heard Ortunga do commentary but if its like he promo man it will be boring.
But I am thrilled for Graves the guy is good and should be on the main roster. I just hope WWE doesn't start to over produce him.
