Updated WWE Battleground Card

Following RAW on Monday night, WWE has announced a series of championship match for the upcoming WWE Battleground PPV on July 24 from Washington, DC.

Randy Orton, who will make his in-ring return to WWE at SummerSlam on August 21, will join Chris Jericho as part of a special Highlight Reel segment.

Also announced for Battleground is two title matches featuring Rusev defending the WWE United States Championship against Zack Ryder and The Miz defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Darren Young.
Here is the updated card two weeks from now.

WWE Championship – Triple Threat Match
Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

John Cena, Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. The Club

WWE United States Championship Match
Rusev (c) vs. Zack Ryder

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
The Miz (c) vs. Darren Young

Becky Lynch vs. Natalya

Plus, Highlight Reel segment with Randy Orton

 

Opinionated View- This is going to suck. Jericho and Orton doing a  long talking segment just what no one wants to see. Main event is going to suck since odds are suspension or not Reigns will be made to look good. Zayn vs. Owens should be good but I've seen at least six million times. Team Lame vs. nWo rip off.  Rusev sucks and after a minor build Ryder gets beat down last night. Oh lord IC title match is goin got be a disaster. Miz hasn't had a good match in years. Young has never had a good match than add in the bullshit they are sure to do with Backlund and Mayrse.  Becky vs Natalya should be good so odds are WWE will give it 30 seconds.
