Will Reigns Compete at Battleground Following Suspension?

Wrestling Observer Radio reports that WWE knew ahead of Money in the Bank about Roman Reigns’ Wellness violation. WWE announced earlier today that Reigns has been suspended for his first violation of the Wellness Policy, and the site reports that the company knew before the PPV, meaning that they knew Reigns was going to be suspended for thirty days before they announced the Battleground triple threat main event last night on Raw.

There are thirty-three days until Battleground, meaning that Reigns will be off suspension and could still compete in the World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Reigns will miss the WWE Draft on July 19th. The site notes that the company had the option to run some sort of suspension angle last night to write him off of television but chose not to. Reigns will miss all episodes of Raw and Smackdown before Battleground due to the suspension.
At this point considering that they announced the match after they knew about the violation, it appears as if the main event of WWE Battleground will go forward as announced last night.

Opinionated View- Well that makes no sense on several levels. One it kind of sends the message that he is above the wellness policy. Two its not like you need to do a three way even though we have seen Ambrose vs. Rollins before it's been long enough and the two guys are good enough it should be a fun match. Three now there is this gapping awkward hole for the next month.
