During an interview with Pwinsider.com, TV’s President Brad Schwartz and TNA President Dixie Carter noted the cable network’s deal with TNA is a multi-year deal. Keep in mind that when the deal with Destination America was announced, that it was also “a multi-year deal”.
– Carter stated that the company plans to tour and tape TV more often during 2016.
– While Carter traveled to Los Angeles on Monday to finalize the deal, word is that the deal was basically completed before that meeting.
– The January 5th debut on Pop TV will be a live show, and not something taped during the short tour of India. TNA had looked into taping on New York, but at this time it appears that will not happen.
