6/8 WWE Raw Report

John Cena starts the show and cuts a promo, but Kevin Owens cuts him off and says an NXT Championship challenge would be great. Cena says he wants that match tonight, but Owens says they are already fighting on Sunday, so it’s not happening. Cena says Owens is the only guy who doesn’t get what an open challenge is. He says his open challenge starts right now, and Owens is included, but Owens calls him delusional. Owens says they will let a WWE Superstar choose which title to fight for now, and Neville comes out to accept Owens’ challenge.
NXT Championship
Neville vs Kevin Owens (c)

Neville gets a few quick strikes in before Owens knocks him down and hits a cannonball in the corner. Owens hits a gutbuster and knees him for a two count, then we get back from a break to see Neville hit a DDT. Owens kicks him and slams him back down, then Neville knocks him down and heads up top. Owens cuts him off, but Neville shoves him back and goes for Red Arrow, but Owens rolls away so Neville rolls through and kicks him. He heads back up top but Owens shakes the ropes, then hits a powerbomb to win.
Winner – Kevin Owens

Summer Rae vs Nikki Bella 
Summer knocks Nikki down and knees her in the corner, then Nikki comes back with a springboard Shining Wizard kick and hits Rack Attack for the win.

Roman Reigns comes out and says he used to hate the Money In The Bank contract because of what happened to him, but now he embraces it. He says he is going to win and get another chance at the title, and he will beat Dean Ambrose after he wins it this Sunday. Kane comes out and talks about how no one thinks Reigns is winning and he will take care of business on Sunday. Reigns says tonight’s Monday so he can just break Kane’s jaw now, then Dolph Ziggler comes out and mocks Kane for being a tool.
Dolph says he is on a roll lately and he will win again Sunday, then Kane says the two of them should learn their place, and the other six MITB participants will fight in singles matches tonight. R-Truth comes out and says he conquered his fear of ladders and he is going to win on Sunday… but Kane cuts him off and says he’s not even in the match. Truth says it’s ‘his bad’ and leaves, then The New Day cuts Kane off again and says when Kofi wins, they all win because New Day rocks. Sheamus is out next, then Kane says they all make good cases, but Neville and Randy Orton are also in the match.

Sheamus vs Randy Orton 
Sheamus and Orton trade punches before Orton sends Sheamus to the apron, then we get back from a break to see Orton hit a powerslam. Sheamus hits the ringpost when Orton sidesteps him, then Orton hits a T-Bone suplex and follows with a hangman’s DDT. Orton plays to the crowd and calls for a RKO, but Sheamus counters with a Brogue Kick attempt, only to have Orton duck and clothesline him over the ropes. Sheamus reverses a whip and sends Orton over the commentary table, then Sheamus gets a chair but Orton backdrops him on the table. They continue to fight at ringside, but Orton slams him against the ring then rolls him in and hits a RKO before leaving.
Result – No Contest
Seth Rollins is shown backstage complaining about recent events, and he rips into Mercury and Noble and says he doesn’t need them. Noble says screw you and says they have had his back since day one, and Rollins will turn on them too. They say Rollins is nothing without them, and Rollins says he has permission to name a match, and he will fight them both. Noble slaps him a few times and Mercury gets in the way, and tells Rollins they’ve had his back, but they will kick his ass tonight.
Dolph Ziggler (w/ Lana) vs Kane 
Dolph and Kane go back and forth a bit, then Dolph gets knocked down as Rusev makes his way out. He gets into it with Lana and she accidentally falls off the stage and hurts her leg. Dolph sees this all go down, and Kane uses the distraction to chokeslam Dolph for the win.


Winner – Kane
Miz kicks Miz TV off but Ryback cuts him right off and makes his entrance, and Miz takes issue but Ryback says yeah, they get it. He says they don’t need to hear Miz’s schtick anymore, and he should be glad Big Show knocked him out. Ryback says he’d take years off of Miz’s career, then Big Show comes out and says he hates Miz out of all his former partners. Show threatens both of them, then Show turns to Ryback and Miz decks him with the mic. Miz gets thrown outside, but Ryback takes Show down with Shell Shocked and clears the ring.
Los Matadores (El Torito) vs Erick Rowan & Luke Harper 
Rowan hits Diego a few times before Harper knocks him down, then Torito jumps on the apron but he get knocked down. Fernando goes to check on him as Diego tries to make a comeback, but Rowan and Harper end up hitting “The Way” (3D) for the win.
Winners – Erick Rowan & Luke Harper

 Titus O’Neil (w/ Darren Young) vs Big E (w/ The New Day)
Big E knees Titus a few times and hits him in the corner, but Titus comes back with a fallaway throw and a tackle. E hits him in the corner but Titus comes back with a whip and splash, then hits a shoulder tackle. Woods tries to attack Young on the floor, and E uses the distraction to hit a Big Ending for the win.


Winner – Big E
Kofi Kingston (w/ The New Day) vs Roman Reigns 
Kofi hits Reigns a few times but Reigns fires back with a clothesline to the floor, then he slams Kofi into the commentary table. He hits a basement dropkick, then Woods and E pull Kofi outside to avoid a splash. Reigns tackles them, but Kofi splashes him as we go to a break. We get back to see Reigns take Kofi down, then Kofi tries to fight back and calls for S.O.S. but Reigns slams him down. Reigns calls for a Superman punch but E jumps on the apron, so Reigns knocks him out before turning to Woods. Kofi tries to springboard over to Reigns to surprise him, but Reigns Superman punches Kofi mid air and gets the cover.
Winner – Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins vs J&J Security (w/ Kane)
Mercury gets some early offense in before Rollins knocks him down, then Rollins rolls outside and whips Mercury into the barricade. He whips Mercury towards Dean Ambrose, sitting in front of the crowd, then whips Mercury back inside. Rollins hits him a few times before Noble gets a near fall off a slam, then Mercury tries to dive in but Rollins hits a buckle bomb. He whips Mercury outside and tries to Pedigree Noble, but Ambrose jumps the rail and throws the title inside. Rollins goes after it, but Mercury dives in and rolls Rollins up for the win.


Winners – J&J Security
Ambrose runs in and takes the title back from Rollins, hitting him with Dirty Deeds, and poses on a ladder to end the show.
