An updated WWE TV schedule for the 2014 holiday season has been revealed. As previously reported, Tribute to the Troops will tape on December 14 and air on NBC on December 27. It’s expected to air on December 22 before RAW, but that’s not confirmed.
Here’s a list of dates:
12/22 – RAW (Live from Minneapolis, MN)
12/26 – Smackdown (Taped on 12/21 in Sioux City, IA)
12/29 – RAW (Slammy Awards – Live from Washington, D.C.)
12/30 – Smackdown (Taped in Norfolk, VA, set to air on 1/2/15)
12/26 – Smackdown (Taped on 12/21 in Sioux City, IA)
12/29 – RAW (Slammy Awards – Live from Washington, D.C.)
12/30 – Smackdown (Taped in Norfolk, VA, set to air on 1/2/15)
December 29 will have a rare live event on the same night as RAW in Richmond, Virginia. Since the city is near D.C., it’s possible that talent could be on both shows. December 30 will feature a live event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The plan is to have a huge show loaded with stars so the Smackdown episode may be light on talent. It’s rumored that the Staples Center event will have an announcement about a future PPV, since the arena won’t host Summerslam anymore.
