November 13 show
The show opened with Finn Bálor cutting a promo. He said he's in NXT because he's the future. Tyson Kidd interrupted him and said nobody cared. Justin Gabriel came out and agreed with Kidd. Gabriel and Kidd cornered Bálor before Hideo Itami ran out to make the save. This became an impromptu tag match.
1. Finn Bálor and Hideo Itami beat Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. Bálor pinned Gabriel after a diving double-stomp.
2. Sasha Banks over Alexa Bliss. Post-match, Sasha called out Charlotte and told her to hand over the NXT Women's Championship.
3. The Lucha Dragons over Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy.
4. Adrian Neville pinned Sami Zayn to retain the NXT Championship. Neville feigned a leg injury and rolled Zayn up for the win.
November 20 show
1. Becky Lynch pinned Bayley with a handful of trunks. Post-match, Charlotte ran out to save Bayley from getting attacked.
The Vaudevillains came out and cut a promo about being the No.1 Contenders to the Tag Titles. They said they wanted their match with the Lucha Dragons now, and out came a mini Lucha Dragons team.
2. The Vaudevillains defeated the Mini Lucha Dragons
3. Baron Corbin squashed a jobber. According to the counting crowd, this match went 22 seconds. As Corbin left, he crossed paths with Bull Dempsey and the two exchanged glances.
4. Bull Dempsey squashed a jobber.
5. Tyson Kidd beat CJ Parker. Post-match, Kidd challenged Finn Bálor to a match for the following episode.
November 27 show
1. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady beat The Mechanics. Post-match, The Ascension laid out Enzo and Cass. They cut a promo saying things between them and Itami and Bálor were far from over.
Sami Zayn came out for a promo. He showed footage of Neville faking the leg injury before Neville came out still selling his leg. Zayn said if he can't win a rematch, he'll leave NXT. Neville said Zayn can have the match once he's healed up. William regal came out and formally announced Sami Zayn vs. Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship as the main event of the next live special on 12/11. Neville said he wouldn't let Zayn put his career on the line, but Zayn said it doesn't matter; if he can't win he's done.
2. Tyler Breeze pinned Marcus Louis. Breeze berated Louis for being ugly, hit his finisher, and pinned him. Louis had an emotional breakdown that lasted forever before leaving.
3. Carmella beat Leva Bates (a/k/a Ol' Blue Pants)
4. The Lucha Dragons over Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger.
Bayley cut a promo about not tolerating bullies before she got beat down and bullied by Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
5. Finn Bálor beat Tyson Kidd by DQ. The Ascension interfered, leading to the DQ and resulting in a brawl between The Ascension and Bálor and Itami.
December 4 show
1. Charlotte over Mia Yim. Post-match, Sasha Banks came out and it was made official that she would challenge Charlotte for the Women's Championship at the next Takeover. Bayley came out with the aid of a crutch and told Sasha to shut up. Sasha kicked her crutch out. Charlotte tried to make the save but Becky Lynch ran out and attacked Charlotte. The segment ended with Sasha celebrating with the Women's Championship.

3. Bull Dempsey squashed a jobber. Post-match, there was another stare-down between Bull and Baron Corbin.

5. Finn Bálor and Hideo Itami beat Tyson Kidd and Tyler Breeze.
Adrian Neville came out for the go-home promo heading into Takeover III. Neville said he'd win at any cost. Sami Zayn wasn't happy about Neville's new attitude. Neville said he expects this to be the match of their career. Zayn said it isn't about respect and it isn't about being the good guy, before he slapped Neville. Zayn said Neville doesn't get to end him. He said he'll end Adrian Neville's NXT Championship reign.
