Flashback Review ROH The 100th Show

One hundred shows a mark very indy companies ever reach hell some don't even reach a hundred matches. But ROH did it and of course has now long surpassed two hundred shows. The first ever ROH main event was a three way with Low Ki, Christopher Daniels, and Bryan Danielson that showed the world what ROH was going to be about the best wrestling you could find. The main event to the hundredth show was a six man tag vs the guys from CZW not about showing great wrestling a fight to fight to defend itself instead. This is also the end of the Milestone Series several big show ROH ran in early 2006. Outside of the CZW guys no special guest were brought in like had been for the last four shows instead this was all about ROH. And I like that first if you have guests from Japan in all the time there no loner special and second it wasn't guys from NOAH and Dragon Gate that got this company this far it was the ROH roster. This show also took place in Philadelphia home of both ROH and CZW so we once again had a split crowd in terms of support

We pick up from the last show with Bryan Danielson singing contract in front of ROH Cary Silkin. Bryan says it's a done deal and Carry announces Bryan is the new head trainer of the ROH wrestling school. We see Austin Aries hand over the keys. To explain Aries had been the trainer at the school but an injury forced him to stop so Danielson took over. To be honest this is a huge let down since well Danielson taking over for Aries was already out there on the ROH website and you have the world champion with the rarely used in angles owner this should be huge. Danielson does tell Cary he (Danielson) pretty much owns this place now. Again it's just such a let down. Given the next set of shows kicked off the McGunniess vs Danielson matches I would have rather set that up on this. Cot Cabana recaps the end of his feud with Homicide and says he is felling fantastic and says he coming off Bryan Danielson's title tonight. Than we see the Lovely Lacey who appears to only be wearing a t-shirt. Lacey says she won't be in Jacobs corner for this show. She compares Jimmy to all the other internet nerds and says if he wins she will take the shirt off on ROH Videos.com Just a confused open. 

Claudio Castagnoli vs Christopher Daniels with Alison Danger- Double C gets the fans to chant HEY before the match. Daniels has a little fun doing Claudio pose. Gabe as Jimmy Bower arrives in the booth to thank the fans for getting ROH to show 100. Gabe reminds Daniels was in the first main event and that Alison Danger was in the first ever ROH segment which was only supposed to be a one shot but she went on become a big part of ROH. I actually like this as you can tell reaching this milestone means a lot  to Gabe sadly Gabe would be back in the booth later and will piss me off than. Daniels with a headlock but Claudio gets to a hammerlock than a arm ringer. Daniels with a arm drag. Front face lock by Claudio. Another arm drag by Daniels. Daniels with a side head lock really cranks at. Hip toss by Claudio than a spring board arm drag. Daniels over Claudio's back for his own arm drag. Horse collar leg lock by Claudio but Daniels gets to the ropes. Daniels with a take down and grab vines Claudio's leg. Claudio goes for a back breaker but Daniels counters into an arm drag but Claudio gets a head scissors. Delayed vertical suplex by Claudio. In a funny moment I just noticed we see Alison Danger checking the time of the suplex on a photographer watch. Finally after a minute Claudio hits the move. Basement drop kick by Daniels right to Claudio's knee. Daniels ties up Claudio's leg. Claudio chops the back of Daniels to get free. Daniels hangs Claudio over the leg so he can put more pressure on the knee. Claudio hits some uppercuts but Daniels clips the leg. Arabian press onto the leg. Enziguire and a leaping upper cut by Claudio. Spinning face buster by Claudio gets two. Death Valley Driver by Daniels and man he does that moves as well as anyone it always looks tight and impactful. Best Moonsault Ever only gets two. Claudio goes back to the horse collar after clipping Daniels leg. Daniels gets the ropes for the break. Claudio ducks a Daniels enziquri. Daniels escapees the water slide and gets a roll up for the win. Very good match as both guys came up with some fun spots. Also Claudio kept selling his bad  leg and didn't run around on it or use it as a weapon. Plus Danger did a good job as the concerned manager. Just the kind of match you want to open a big show the kind that gets the fans excited for a night of action. 

Daniels gets a microphone and singles for his music to cut. Daniels says ROH has come a long way from the Murphy Rec Center. Daniels talks about the milestone series and how it's time make a milestone of his own. Daniels than extends his hand to Claudio and shakes it. Daniels makes it clear he respect Claudio and says he's the future of ROH. Good segment that would have a long term payoff. I've talked about the Code of Honor in the past and when ROH started Daniels was the top heel who refused to follow it. The long term payoff comes later when Claudio betrays ROH and now the two can have rematch with Daniels being pissed the guy he picked to shake hands with would do that. It also fuels my theory that Gabe might have originally planned for Daniels to join the ROH vs CZW war and go onto the winner the world title.   

Daniels and Danger leave but Claudio stands in the ring. Chris Hero appears in the stands. Hero talks about how happy he is to have cause so much mayhem and chaos in ROH.  Hero says ROH makes him sick and call its fans arrogant smart marks (well that is true.) Hero again says his best friend Claudio betrayed him. Hero says tonight CZW destroys Ring of Honor as we get dulling CZW and ROH chants. Another good segment as Hero is always awesome on the microphone plus I like that they showed one half of the arena was for ROH fans the other for CZW fans. 

Four Corner Survival Jimmy Rave with Prince Nana and Daziee Haze vs Delirious vs Jimmy Yang with Taimak vs Jimmy Jacobs- The TP starts flying before Rave even gets in the ring. Rave and Yang had an issue dating back to best in the world. And I already told you about the story of Jacobs getting a reward from Lacey if he won and he also came out with a poster of Lacey. Sadly Gabe returned to the booth and sell his Jimmy Bower is a drunk story lusting about how awesome it would be to see Lacey Naked. How did Gabe never win worse announcer in the year end awards? Even worse this also led to tons of dumb jokes by the normally skid commentary teams of Prazak and Leonard. Man a match with three guys all named Jimmy I wonder was that on purpose or just how things fell? Since t's a Delirious match he of course freaks out at the start. Yang and Jacobs start us off. Arm drag by Jacobs. Rave refuses the Jacobs tag. Yang picks up the picture of Lacey and humps it. Jacobs infuriated goes nuts on Yang. Tav reveres and chops Rave. Second rope rana by Jacobs gets two. Back heel kick by Yang. Jacobs tag Delirious. Test of strength with Delirious getting the advantage.Drop toe hold sends Yang to the turnbuckle. Followed by the Delirious with the panic attack. Drop kick sends Yang to the floor than a baseball slide. Delirious tags in Jacobs. Jacobs returns the humping of the Lacey picture by humping Yang. Jacobs with a seated dropkick to Yang. Jacobs comes off the top but eats a spin kind by Yang. Jacobs tags in Rave. Suplex by Rave gets one. Yang has a busted lip. Big chops by Yang. Nana tries to trip Yang. Yang goes afar him allowing Haze to Yakuza kick Yang. Rave sends Yang into the guard rail and into the fans. Power slam by Rave. Tag to Jacobs. Rave slams Yang and Jacobs with a second rope elbow drop gets two. Tag back to Rave who kicks Yang in the ribs. Moonsault press by Yang but Haze distracts the referee. Taimak pulls Haze off the apron. Nana shoves Taimak who chases him to the back. Double clothesline sends both Yang and Rave down. Yang tags Jacobs Rave tag Delirious. Big chops by the masked man. Delirious baits Jacobs into do a baseball slide but moves. Leaping Lariat back in the ring by Delirious. Rave in with a big spear on Jacobs. Greeting from Ghana blocked  Yang tags in. Series of Kicks by Yang takes out Rave. Yang time on Jacobs misses. Contra code on Yang but Jacobs stops covering at two. Delirious tags in back breaker and than Cobra Stretch on Jacobs for a tap out win. Decent match but nothing great. Sadly the jokes about seeing Lacey without a shirt got real annoying. I think this was Yang's last ROH match. He was already on way back to WWE and than pissed off Gabe by announcing a match that Gabe didn't' want announced yet. It was going to be Yang and Taimak  vs Rave and Nana. Also stop calling Taimak  Bruce Leroy he played Leroy it's like calling Henry Cavill Superman it's just lame.

ROH Tag Team Championship Generation Next Austin Aries and Roderick Strong © vs The Rottweilers Homicide and Ricky Reyes- No Smokes? OH THANK YOU GOD! Reyes and Aries and been feuding and here had been a few other run ins with the two groups. We get clips of Reyes choking  out Aries with the dragon sleeper. Before the action start Homicide gets a microphone a yells at the CZW fans if there boys want a fight they can come to Ring of Homicide. So yeah that was the smart of Homicide joining the CZW angle. Homicide shakes hands while Reyes does not. We even see Reyes ask what is wrong with him. Strong and Reyes starts us off. Reyes works over the arm. Strong with a northern lights suplex. Aries tags in Reyes tags in Homicide. Hammer lock than a head lock takedown by Homicide. Homicide escapes the Aries head scissors. Aries turns a Homicide head scissors into a modified boston crab. Aries and Homicide run into each other I think Homicide didn't get his shoulder out for a tackle because Aries sold it like a shoulder tackle. Head scissors by Homicide who roles onto this stomach. Headstand escape into an elbow drop by Aries. Tag to Strong. Vertical suplex by Strong. Power slam by Strong tag to Aries who comes in with a twist body press. Tag back to Strong. Aries tags back in and hits a Suicide dive on Homicide. Reyes jumps Aries on the floor. Reyes slams Aries leg into the guar rail before tossing him back in. Cannon ball on the leg by Homicide than a spinning toe hold. Tag to Reyes who hits a leg kick. Reyes goes afar the leg  in various ways Belly to back but Aries escapes and tags Strong. Enzigure by Strong Reyes ducks but Homicide gets it running drop kick on Reyes. I think Homicide tagged in while the camera was on Strong entrance. Homicide goes for over the ropes sunset flip but Strong side steps and turn it into a back breaker for a pretty creative spot.Sick kick by Strong get two. Tornado DDT by Homicide blocked. Reyes attacks Strong on a superplex attempt and Belly to Back Suplexes him off. Diving headbutt by Homicide. Tag to Reyes. Back breaker by Reyes. Tag back to Homicide. back breaker leg drop combo by the challengers. Aries with a save but Reyes uses this as a chance to attack Aries. On the outside Homicide sends Strong into the guard rail. Double team whip sends Strong into the guard rail again. The referee is with Aries allowing Homicide to hit Strong with a chair. Strong sees the tops con hello coming so Homicide puts on the brakes. Aries with a back elbow off the apron. All four meant brawl on the floor. Homicide with a suplex on Strong puts him on a table. Double stomp by Homicide puts Strong through the table. Wait isn't that the kind of pointless weapon spot ROH climbed CZW was all about? Homicide toys with Strong before tagging in Reyes. Gut wrench suplex by Reyes. Chin breaks by Strong than a chop hot tag to Aries. Clothesline by Aries but is limping badly on his bad knee. Ok was this a rib on Strong for getting his "injured" leg during the Bryan Danielson Match at Supercard of Honor. Shin breaker than suplex on Reyes. Running drop kick by Aries gets two. Homicide takes out Strong and clips Aries leg on the brain buster. Ace crusher by Homicide than the lariat. Reyes covers but Strong with the save. Half nelson back breaks by Strong on Homicide. Series of kicks by Reyes. Back heel kick misses allowing a Strong side kick than the Gibson driver. Homicide stops the Aries 450. Reyes with Dragon Sleeper on Strong. Aries recovers and hits the 450 to break the hold and get the pin. Decent match but Aries and Reyes were supposed to be in this intense feud and I wouldn't know it by just watching this match. The weapon spots seemed strange and out of no where. Plus given this was pretty much the end of the Aries vs Reyes feud I think at some point we should have seen Aries find a counter for the Dragon Sleeper playing that Reyes had gone to well to many times with it on Aries. 

ROH World Heavyweight Championship Bryan Danielson © vs Colt Cabana- Cabana was back to his happy go lucky self for this match. The story here was ROH had granted Cabana this shot based off his win over Homicide at the previous show. The CZW fans start chanting over rated at Danielson who than demands he be introduced as the least over rated wrestler  in the world. Cabana jokes around acting Danielson hurt him on the hand shake. The CZW fans are still mocking Danielson who moons them you won't see that Raw anytime soon the bare ass we allowed to see on Raw is Vince's. Tons of stalling to start. The fight over a lock up. Cabana with a clean break and a little dance. Knuckle lock hand Cabana gets  a two count. Dragon twist by Cabana reversed by Danielson. Shoulder tackle by Cabana. Roll up by Cabana but Danielson keeps his shoulder up so Cabana gives up the position.  Roll up and a crucifix each get two. Rolls up by Danielson gets the win out of no where about five minutes into the match. What we got was pretty fun since Colt and Danielson meshed really well in the ring. But this booking is stupid! Ok so after months and months of Cabana in a war with Homicide he wins the final match/feud has Homicide of all people show him respect. And than your follow if this he loses quickly and clean to the world champion killing all the momentum his big win built up. Now later in the show we see a promo by Cabana saying he thinks all the months of brawling led to him forgetting to the wrestle. Except this isn't' what we saw Cabana appeared to be going hold for hold with Danielson and just got caught. I'm not saying he match needed to go an hour but maybe do ten to fifteen minutes. Have Danielson control all the wrestling holds and such and Cabana offense only really be punches and kicks. Have Prazak and Leonard says stuff like "Cabana is just so off here." " Every wrestling exchange ends with Danielson in control." I Just feel like ROH took a major risk with Colt's feud with Homicide and than they blow anything he got out of it. 

Backstage Gary Michael Capettia is with Jimmy Jacobs and asks him about passing on the win earlier in the night. Jacobs says he his priorities straight he says he doesn't Lacey to expose her self just so he can get a win. I actually like this since it does fit with Jimmy's story. He doesn't want Lacey's body he loves her he wants her return that love. GMC runs over to Cabana who is just upset and doesn't want to talk. Again I do like Colt's performance here. i just think the set up for it was stupid. 

Top of the Class Trophy 

Derrick Dempsey © vs Pelle Preimeau- The top of the class trophy was a title just for the ROH school students. Dempsey's brother Bobby wold get a mini push in ROH as a lackey heel. Hammer lock by Dempsey. Pelle revers into a head lock. Arm ringer by Pelle. Slap exchange. O' Conner roll by Pelle gets two. Shoulder tackle by the much smaller take Dempsey down to the floor. Big forearm by Dempsey than a chop. Sloppy looking ducking clothesline spot where both guys seemed unsure of what to do. Belly to back suplex by Dempsey. Abdominal stretch by Dempsey. Rana by Pelle. Spring board cross body gets two for Pelle. Spine buster by Dempsey for the win. Bad match truth is both guys were so green it showed. I really don't understand ROH sometimes. Before intermission you do a five minute title and than come back with this but on Supercard of Honor you do a Six Man Tag that steals the weekend and follow that up with a six woman mayhem. Learn to pace a card. 

Bryan Danielson made his way back out to the ring as the students were leaving and ordered them to get back in it. Ok strange thing  I noticed Danielson has an ROH world tag team title belt on while early he clearly had on the ROH world title. So maybe the belt was damaged some how or he just wound up picking up the wrong belt. Some idiot had a blow horn and Danielson insulted him and mocked the CZW guys for not being able to wrestle. Danielson also insulted one guy that must have really been annoying him. Danielson said the students match had more technical wrestling than CZW had in its entire existence and than promise he as head trainer would make sure the students only got better. After shaking hands with the students Danielson sent them to the back because he had business to take care of. Danielson remind everyone he had been ROH champion for six months. Danielson declared as champion and head trainer he ran ROH now. The CZW fans were still being loud Danielson said even if they all rushed the ring he could kick there ass. Danielson stole a football chant to tell the CZW there were going to get there fucking head kicked in. Finally Danielson called Delirious to have another ROH world title match. This segment went on to long I think Danielson over played to the CZW fans so the promo dragged on and on. 

ROH World Heavyweight Championship Bryan Danielson © vs Delirious- I like Delirious but give me a break on him getting a title already. I know he was mad over but had two wins as a singles wrestler at this point. Before the match Danielson asks Delirious if he honestly thinks he can win. Delirious cut a promo in his own language that ended with him sining the intro Danielson's entrance song. Danielson slaps the masked man to start. Danielson stands on Delirious' face. Right to the surfboard by Danielson  than into a dragon sleeper. Danielson finally does the drive the knees spot.  Bow and arrow by Danielson. Danielson  with a shot at CZW's Super Dragon by doing the curb stomp. Fall back shin breakers by Danielson after the sexy party, Danielson starts pulling at Delirious mask. Cravat and more tearing by Danielson. Dropkick ion the corner than a big uppercut by Danielson followed by Abdominal stretch. Amazing dropkick to the face by Danielson. The Danielson superplex is blocked. Shadows Over Hell by Delirious. A couple of drop kick than the panic attack. Small package by Delirious gets two. Leaping lariat misses. Cattle Mutilation by Danielson. Delirious gets to the ropes. Danielson goes for the chicken wing but Delirious gets Danielson into an airplane spin than a punt kick to the head. Delirious goes for the cobra stretch but he can't' get it locked in before Danielson gets the ropes. The ROH champion to the floor and Delirious with a suicide dive. Danielson sends Delirious chest first by into the guar rail. Danielson airplane spins Delirious into the ring post head first. Danielson finally earns the mask open and we se Delirious is bleeding. Danielson bites at Delirious head. Release Dragon Suplex by Danielson than they cattle mutilation. Delirious gets the ropes. Snap butterfly suplex by Danielson but he misses the flying headbut. Kick to the head by Delirious. Clothesline in the corner by Delirious. Delirious sets up of a super plex. Danielson gets free. Belly to Back Superplex than into the big elbows before Todd Sinclair calls it off. Very good match. This actually kicked started a feud with Danielson and Delirious and I think the goal was to show Delirious is tough he's not just the guy with a mask that does funny stuff. I just wish they hadn't fucked up Colt Cabana's character growth to fit this on.  Post match the bloody Delirious is helped to the back and we see hie is even bleeding from the hand a great image to sell how brutal this match was. Danielson meanwhile celebrates with the ROH tag belt. 

The Briscoe Brothers Jay and Mark vs AJ Styles and Matt Sydal- Well I guess with Smokes not at this show we had to get the Briscoes back to piss me off. Both these teams were top contenders to the ROH tag titles. Sydal and Styles having come up short a the 4th Anniversary and The Briscoes having jumped Aries and Strong several times. Back when AJ and Amazing Red were ROH tag champions the Briscoes has challenged and failed to win the tag belts form them. The Briscoes look was already staring to head downhill instead of tights there were in baggy shorts. The Briscoes try to jump Sydal and AJ at the start but they see it coming. AJ picks up Jay and runs him into the corner. AJ helps to elevate Sydal for a big corner dropkick on Mark. AJ drops Jay with the phenomenal dropkick. Jay tag in Mark who comes in with a spring boar move I think was meant to be a cross body doesn't matter AJ ducked it anyway. Big neck breaker by AJ who tags Sydal. Mark blocks a Sydal knee and hits some chop. Tag to Jay and than a double shoulder tackle by the Briscoe Brothers. Corner splash by Jay Briscoes and than for some reason just pulls Sydal around the ring by the leg before finally tagging in Mark witch he could of done when he started his lap around the ring. Mark in with a springboard below. Headbut by Mark that clearly misses than a bad looking suplex. Tag back to Jay who hits a elbow for two. Head scissors and drop kick by Sydal. Tag to AJ Styles.  Power slam and knee drop by AJ. Belly to back suplex by AJ. Drop toe hold and  belly to back by Jay than a tag to Mark who comes in and managed to even make a double stomp look bad. Northern lights by Mark gets two. Kip up rana by AJ. Mark and Jay both to the floor.Double flip dives by Styles and Sydal. back in the ring that dumb looking toss guy into the air spot by the Briscoes. Awful looking drop kick by Jay Briscoe. Double team hip toss by the Briscoes gets two. And than Mark Briscoes shows he can't even do a simple rip at the face spot even by the low standers he has set this is bad match for him. Jay back in no tag. Big knee by Jay Briscoe. Tag back to Mark. Rana off the rope by Sydal. Tag to AJ. AJ tries for a back breaker into a gut buster but Jay seems to fight him on it so it the moves looks like shit and yes I'm blaming Jay for it. Why AJ almost never screws up Briscoe should be a alternate word for botch. Moonsault into the inverted DDT on Mark. AJ with a German than a face buster on  Jay. Mark save Mark from the Clash with a drop kick but he knocks AJ to his corner so Sydal cane tag in. AJ with a hangman's neck breaker as Sydal splashes for two before Jay makes the save. Neck assisted neck breaker by Styles and Sydal. On the floor Mark slams AJ into the apron and that the guard rail. Rana blocked by Jay. Springboard Dooms Day Device by the Briscoes on Sydal AJ makes the save. Jay with a Yakuza that misses by a mile on AJ. Enziarure by Sydal knocks down Mark. Jay driller reversed into a standing moonsault. Spiked Jay driller gets the win for the Briscoes. It's not a bad match but Its just so hard to get into anything the Bricoes do they do everything so sloppy and rush from spot to spot. It wasn't as bad as it would get but it was around this time they really started heading downhill. 

Up next we get video looking back at the first 99 shows. From the debut main event. Eddie Guerrero. Low Ki winning the first ROH title. Joe vs Low Ki. Joe wining the title. Paul London's goodbye. CM Punk taking out Christopher Daniels with a Pepsi Plunge throughout a table. Joe vs Punk. Aries winning the ROH world title from Joe. Punk winning the belt and Punk' s ROH goodbye. Danielson winning the title. Joe vs Kobashi. And many more it was a great video and the perfect thing you want a big show like this. 

Bobby Cruise introduced Gary Michael Capettia. GMC explains he will moderated the "great" debated ROH vs CZW. Jim Cornette makes his entrance on crutch with Adam Pearce carrying a baseball bat. Massive ROH chant. Cornett explains his leg was injured at the Chicago shows. The truth was he years of injury to his legs were taking there toll. Cornett steals a line Alex Shelley had used on the CZW at Arena Warfare. Cornette explains Pearce is there to make sure none of he CZW guys jump him during this. CZW owner John Zanding comes out through from entrances with a bar wire baseball bat. Oh god there are going to let Zanding talk well ate last they aren't going to let him wrestle. GMC explains the rules of the debate. Basically Cornette will go first than Zanding. Cornette claims he has hired for fired guys Zanding would blow a goat to get close to. I would love to know what guys Cornette thinks he's fired over the years. Zanding mocks Zanding's IQ for being a hardcore wrestlers. Cornette says he's really there to the fans not Zanding. Cornette says they are all Philly wrestling fans. Cornette says the reputation of Philly is on the line. Cornette than claims it was NWA show that started Philadelphia reputation. BULLSHIT! Cornette names off the big names that used to work for the NWA. Zanding no doubt tiring of the same rap Cornette has been doing for decades tell him to shut the fuck up. Zanding says it's not 1986. Cornett than bring up ECW which gets the biggest pop of the whole segment. Cornette actually does put over some of the things ECW did like the Luchadores, Dean Manlenko and Eddie Guerrero. Cornette claims ROH is the cutting edge of a new revolution. Zanding and Cornette just start talking over each. Zanding says 2006 is CZW's time. Zanding says ROH should be thanking for CZW for filling this arena tonight and starts to lead a CZW chant. Cornette asks fans do they want to support a freak show or a real show and than starts ranting about Vince. Finally Zanding brings up Smokey Mountain and it's use of Hardcore. Cornette says that was about settling issues and than says half the guys in the ROH locker room started in CZW. Zanding points some of the ROH guys will be at Best of the Best. Cornette finally ended the debate. Zanding called out the CZW boys to start the main event. The CZW boys surround the ring but Joe's music hit. What a mess of a segment you had two guys yelling at each other non stop talking over each other. Cornette seemed like he was more interested in the NWA and ranting at Vince and Zanding reposes were just "Fuck You! CZW!" 

ROH Samoa Joe, Adam Pearce, and BJ Whitmer vs CZW Chris Hero, Necro Butcher and Super Dragon- Joe and BJ were in there normal gear but Pearce was in jeans and t-shirt normally I like that for Hardcore matches but I think hear Pearce should have been in his normal singlet to send the message of here are three wrestlers here to stand up to CZW. Of course Hero and Dragon were in there normal outfits while Butcher was in jeans and a t-shirt. Massive brawl to start. Idiot fans throw streams into the ring. I could get doing during a normal entrance but her all you doing is putting stuff in the ring as guys are trying to wrestle. There is also no commentary for this match and like the Dragon Gate match I think it's a mistake again you have a match with guys fans that only watch ROH may not know also it's a very chaotic and I think commentary helps to keep track of what is going on. Dragon and BJ start brawling on the floor. We sees both an ROH referee and a CZW one. Joe with an atomic drop to Hero in the ring. Big foot and senton by Joe. Suicide Dive by Joe to Hero on the floor. John Zanding is up on the apron with his barbwire bat. Claudio Castagnoli runs out and takes it from him. Zanding gives chase after Claudio. Butcher is holding Pearce and chair and does a body slam. Ole Kick by Joe sends Hero into the crowd. Pearce is busted open by a Necro chair shot. Nerco with awful looking punches on Pearce. Peace with a chair shot to Butchers head. Butcher whipped over the guard rail into the stands than suplexed back over by Pearce. Double team suplex on to a stack of chairs by Joe and Whitmer on Super Dragon. Joe whips Hero into the guar rail. Running drop kick  by Pearce into Necro's ribs. Back in the crowd BJ slams Super Dragon on a folding chair that gives way. Pearce is bleeding badly. Joe and Necro exchange shots. Big head butt and palm strike by Joe. Pearce sets up a table. Flaying forearm off the top by Pearce on Butcher who is in the ring. Hero some how has taken down BJ Whitmer. Pearce covers Necro for two. Joe and Super Dragon are brawling in a area with no light. We miss Pearce doing some move that sends Butcher onto a stack of chairs. We also miss Hero attack Pearce but we do see Dragon snapping at some fan. BJ with chair shots to Super Dragon. Joe with a seres of strikes to Dragon. Pearce rips at the Mask of Super Dragon so Dragon tears at the cut. Butcher is choking Joe and than hits him in the stomach with a chair.  Butcher with god awful looking punches. BJ Whitmer with a suplex on Hero inside the ring gets two. Brakes something over Joe's head. Low blow by Super Dragon on BJ. Back senton off the top by Super Dragon on Whitmer gets two. Pearce claps a pair of Chairs on Nerco's head. Back in the ring Necro looks to power bomb Joe on Chairs but Joe is up with a series of forearms. Joe Belly to back suplexs Necro through a chair but only gets two. Peace slams Super Dragon into a guar rail. Hero with a  running Yakuza to Pearce's cut. Necro and Joe brawl into the crowd. Senton by Hero on Whitmer than a Yakuza kick and that gets two. Necro is bleeding. Cravat Buster by Hero gets two. Pearce no sells a Butcher Kick. Pearce tell Butcher he ain't shit. (he's right) Punch exchange by Pearce and Butcher of course Necro's look awful but knock Pearce down. The CZW refry Bryce Remesberg counts like a boxing match. Pearce is up and knocks Necro is down so ROH referee Paul Turner counts.

Hero tosses a chair into Whitmer's head. Hero but gets a belly to back suplex by Pearce. Joe with a side walk slam puts Super Dragon through a table. Hero is in the ring and doesn't see Joe climb in behind him. Hero begs off as the Joe's going to kill you chant begins. Running knee by Joe. Butcher and Dragon make the save on the face wash. Necro whips Joe with his belt. Spine buster by Pearce on Hero. Big splash by Pearce on Hero but Super Dragon hits a double stomp to the head to break the pin fall. Super Dragon curb stomps Pearce. Whitmer with a big clothesline knocks down Dragon than the Exploder Suplex through a chair. BJ points at a table set up at ringside. Necro cracks BJ in the back with a chair. Joe kicks at Hero at ringside. Butcher puts a chair over BJ's face and than hits it with another chair. Pearce with a chair shot to Butcher. Dragon throws a chair at Pearce as Hero sends Joe into a guar rail. Dragon with a  double stomp to BJ's head as it's on a chair. Whitmer kicks out at two. BJ Whitmer is now bleeding. Super Dragon with a Psycho Driver off the Apron through a table to the floor. Hero hits Joe with a chair and uses it to choke him. Pearce tossed into the guard rail by the Butcher. Zanding returns. Joe attacks Zanding but the numbers are to much for him. Zanding hits Joe. Necro takes out ROH referee Paul Turner. Cravat locked in by Hero on Joe. Claudio Castagnoli returns and takes out Zanding and pulls Hero off Joe. Joe goes for a big move but Claudio attacks him. The Kings of Wrestling embrace. Pearce with a missile dropkick takes out Claudio but Hero is still standing. Dragon chokes Pearce with a chair. The ROH fans start calling for Homicide. Double Team Hero's welcome by Hero and Claudio on Pearce for the win. Match was a chaotic brawl. It is very fun to watch but I do feel it had some weak parts. Butcher as usual is awful he's the guy in this match that can't work. Also given it's Nature it feels like we miss a lot. There are times where guys will disappear and I think having commentary could have helped if nothing else to say Hero and Joe are brawling over the by merchandise stand. Plus not having commentary under sells Claudio's heel turn. Yes everyone would see it coming but still they needed to be a voice to it. I do want to give ROH major credit for letting CW win here. I don't think any other company in wrestling wold have been willing to have another company beat them on such a huge show. 

Post match the CZW guys keep putting the boots to Joe and Pearce before leaving the ring to go celebrate with the CZW fans. We see Joe and pissed off the only member of the ROH team able to stand up. The CZW crew climb into CZW stands to celebrate with there fans. Claudio tears apart his jacket that has ROH on the back. Pearce is finally able to stand up but BJ is still down. Pearce checks on Whitmer who says "my neck." Joe says something but the audio is awful i have no idea what is is saying. We see them load BJ on to a table to carry him out. And I think this kind of damages the effect of the Psycho driver they couldn't find a stretcher out at the very least a back board for this spot. I'm all for carryon BJ out but come the table just looks silly. 

We close on GM interview a very upset Colt Cabana. Colt apologizes for his awful performance and makes the claim he forgot how to wrestle during his feud with Homicide. Colt says he has to work his way back up from the bottom. Colt says he started at the bottom and says one day he will fight Danielson again and says that time he will take the title. Its a good promo and I think the idea of Colt starting from the bottom and working up again could have been interesting. But ROH never really did that Colt worked a tag team main event against Danielson a few weeks later than challenged at an FIP event that was done in the Style of ROH booking before getting a 2 out of 3 falls match with him by June. So really nothing changed it feel like they just blew what could have been a few major chances with Cabana. And we close on a shot of the massive H shaped wound on Adam Pearce's head. No words just a shot at the injury and it's pretty effective.

The 100th show starts off decent enough with the matches in the ring but really drags in the center. I also feel the would have been better off putting the Delirious beat down by Danielson on another show since it was a pretty gruesome scene with the beloved masked man's hand bleeding and his mask torn him needing help to the back. But since we have  hardcore match to end the show it's kind of forgotten about. The debate just dragged on as did the long Danielson promo and is "I run this place" stuff went no where. I also again hate the missteps with Cabana as I feel you had a chance to make him a legit main eventer instead of an upper mid card guy. But the main event while flawed is good the heel turn for Claudio is a major turning point. So I recommended picking this one up.
