Is TNA Spending $300,000 For New York City Shows?

It was reported yesterday by PW.net that TNA might be spending around $300,000 to run three shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. However, PWInsider (via Wrestlezone) reports that it may not be that much after all.

The report claims that someone who used to work for TNA could be spreading false information. There were some who wanted Dixie Carter to run Slammiversary in New York this year, but she chose Texas. 

Opinionated View- If it coast $300,000 for three show meaning $100,000 for a single show than there is no way ROH could ever afford to run it. Sounds like old Powell was upset and wanted make TNA look bad.
