When Was Daniel Bryan Cleared to Return?
The Wrestling Observer reports that Daniel Bryan was cleared to return for the ring about three weeks ago. WWE officials were notified that Bryan was cleared during that time frame.
WWE later made the decision for Bryan to make his in-ring return at the 2015 Royal Rumble. Of course, Bryan’s return and his inclusion in the Rumble match have fans online clamoring for him to win. There was speculation if WWE’s long-term plans of Roman Reigns winning the Rumble and beating Brock Lesnar for the world title at WrestleMania have changed due to Bryan’s presence. According to the Observer report, WWE not yet considered any change of plans with regards to the current plan of Reigns winning the Rumble match.
Opinionated View- WWE learn from last year. Reigns has potential but he's not ready yet. You can't force someone into a spot.

WWE Changes Talent Contracts Following CM Punk/Alberto Del Rio Departures
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has made a change to their contracts following CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio’s contentious departures from the company and jump to other organizations. The new stipulation reads that if the talent is fired for disciplinary reasons, they will forfeit all merchandise rights and will be unable to work in either pro wrestling or MMA for one year.
While the clause is unlikely to hold up in court if challenged, successfully contesting that would take money and many talent don’t make the kind of money it would likely require to do so.
Opinionated View- What a crock of shit! Sadly though the story if right most guys wont' have the money to fight it or want to fight since they will hope the WWE will bring them back at some point

Uhaa Nation Agrees to Terms With WWE
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that after a long period of speculation, Uhaa Nation (Sesugh Uhaa) has agreed to terms with WWE on a contract.
As reported previously, Uhaa participated in a tryout camp back in October and WWE officials were impressed, making him a high-priority signing. There had been some uncertainty when it was reported he was signed to a WWN contract, though it it appears that he has worked that out. No word in when he will officially come on board.

Update on Randy Orton
Randy Orton has a deviated septum according to a new report by Dave Meltzer. This is why Orton ended up only making short appearances at WWE live events this past weekend.
Orton wrestled in a match against Kane in New York City on 12/26 in his official return to the company, only made an appearance after the main event on 12/27 in Long Island and then had another short match with Kane on 12/28 in Hershey.
Orton did make an appearance after RAW on 12/29 in Washington, DC after it went off the air. Orton is scheduled to have surgery and his recovery time is only expected to be for a few weeks. He's scheduled to begin a program with Seth Rollins when returning to WWE TV.

Details on Why Curtis Axel is Working NXT Events
Curtis Axel worked the last set of NXT TV tapings and will be facing Hideo Itami on a future episode of NXT TV. Word is that Axel will take over the role previously held by Tyson Kidd in NXT. That is to be the main roster guy that adds some star power to the brand, while helping to prepare developmental talents for the main roster.

Update on The Idea Behind The Ryback Promo From Monday’s Raw
The idea behind the Ryback promo on Monday’s Raw was to give him a chance to connect with the audience on a new level by allowing him to tell a personal and emotional story. Ryback’s promo was the same basic story that he told during his recent appearance on Chris Jericho’s “Talk Is Jericho” podcast and during an interview with Sam Roberts in 2013.
Opinionated View- Good idea problem is you picked the worse person to do it with Ryback sucks he can't connect with the fans because he lacks the talent to do it.

EFC3 and Abyss Sign New TNA Deals
TNA announced earlier today on Twitter via Executive VP of Talent Relations John "Big" Gaburick that Ethan Carter III and Abyss have re-signed with the company.
Opinionated View- Great to hear as I have been saying now that TV is in place TNA can lock everything into place with talent. 12/30 WWE Smackdown TV taping spoilers
WWE Smackdown Taping
Edge and Christian opened the show and spoke about what happened on Raw. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury came to the ring. They read a prepared statement from The Authority disavowing any attacks from Monday and recognizing Edge and Christian's right to host Smackdown, yet making J&J Security overseers of the action...
1. Bray Wyatt beat Erick Rowan. The dark main event is advertised as a street fight between Wyatt and Dean Ambrose. Wyatt won with little reaction from the crowd. He took the mic and spoke about taking out flesh and blood in Rowan, and spoke about his ambulance match with Ambrose and how all good things must come to an end...
Footage aired of J&J Security cutting off Edge and Christian from doing a five-second pose...
2. Big Show beat Ryback via count out. They replayed footage of Ryback's speech from Raw. The crowd was behind Ryback and chanted "you sold out" at Big Show. Finally, some excitement. The match was mostly Big Show beating on Ryback until he made his comeback. Rusev showed up and distracted Ryback. Show punched Ryback off the ring apron and he was counted out...
Backstage, Jamie Noble went into the women's room and there was a scream with Edge getting a laugh at his expense...
3. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd beat Los Matadores. Cesaro and Kidd won a short match. Natalya looked a little bitter about Tyson celebrating with Cesaro and disregarding her...
Dean Ambrose was shown on the big screen arriving at the building...
4. Dean Ambrose fought Curtis Axel to an apparent no-contest. Ambrose put away Axel and then grabbed the mic. An ambulance backed into the arena and Ambrose spoke about what he intended to do to Bray Wyatt on Raw. Technically, the match didn't really happen, as there was no bell to start and thus no decision. It was just a crowd raiser and the promo was the best part of the night thus far. The crowd was really into it...
5. The Ascension beat local wrestlers. The Ascension won quickly. An impressive performance. Good energy from them...
6. Goldust, Stardust, and Adam Rose vs. The Usos and R-Truth. A pretty nice match. Two of the Rosebuds tried to enter the ring afterward, but the Usos superkicked them.
Backstage, J&J Security were packing items to get things ready for the return of The Authority. Edge and Christian drew all over Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's Muscle & Fitness magazine cover...
7. Roman Reigns beat U.S. Champion Rusev by DQ. Big Show interfered for the DQ. Reigns and Show brawled at ringside, and Reigns dumped the broadcast table on Show. A good back and forth match to close the show.

12/30 WWE Main Event Report
-Edge and Christian come down to the ring, and Tony Chimel is there to do the classic “Rated R Suuuuuuuperstar” bit. Christian tries it for himself and Edge says it’s official, WWE doesn’t need Chimel for anything anymore. Michael Cole and Booker T are on commentary, and we’ve gone back in time, apparently.
-Edge talks about Seth Rollins trying to break his neck, but mentions that he has a team of lawyers and will own the WWE if anyone puts their hands on him again. They bring out Adam Rose and the Rosebuds as tonight’s guest. No Bunny. They make fun of Rose and his suckers, and check out the legion of hot chicks around him. Edge wants to know where the Bunny is, and Rose says he “put him down” for good, because he doesn’t deserve to be on the Exotic Express. The Hall of Famer says the Attitude Era was party time, all the time, and they want to have a Five Second Pose with the Rosebuds, and tells Adam to hit the bricks. They do their pose while the Rosebuds dance around and Adam Rose storms off on his own.
They run a video package for Charlotte, and it looks like we’re going to get a surprise match up next!
CHARLOTTE vs. SASHA BANKS
They do some nice athletic counter-grappling that ends with a gorgeous bridge pin by Charlotte. Sasha beats the champ down in the ropes and hangs her from the second, hitting a double knee stomp to the mid-section. The beatdown continues for a few minutes until they collide with clotheslines; both women down. Charlotte connects with a few knife-edge clotheslines. Banks mocks the “Woo!” chant but gets caught with a neckbreaker. She misses a moonsault but recovers with a standing senton (same spot from Takeover). Banks connects with a neckbreaker out of nowhere, but Charlotte kicks out and hits her with a facebuster. She follows up with Natural Selection for the 1-2-3.
Winner: CHARLOTTE
Santino is ready for his New Year’s party backstage, but nobody has shown up so he’s talking to his cobra. Eric Rowan shows up in a sheep mask and they have a moment.
TITUS O’NEIL vs. JUSTIN GABRIEL
Titus absolutely destroys Gabriel with shoulder blocks and clotheslines. After a few minutes of rest hold and the commentators mucking around, Justin comes back and tries for the 450 Splash. Titus kicks him off the ropes and hits Clash of the Titus for the win.
Winner: TITUS O’NEIL
R-Truth shows up to Santino’s party, but realizes it’s own Santino and Rowan, and runs away. The cobra and the sheep have another moment.
THE USOS vs. GOLDUST & STARDUST
I guess it’s appropriate to end the year with the match we’ve seen a hundred times in 2014.
The Usos start in with high flying moves early on. They take a commercial break and Goldust is in control with a rest hold in Jimmy when they come back. Uso comes up empty on an enzuigiri and gets caught with an STO for a two-count. Eventually the hot tag is made to Jey who battles to the top with Stardust and ends up hitting a super Samoan Drop. He goes to fly over the ropes but crashes and burns as Cody moves out of the way. Goldust accidentally takes out his brother and Jimmy takes advantage with a flying splash for the win.
Winners: THE USOS

Adrian Neville is the next WWE main roster call up, but it likely won’t happen until spring 2015.
Meanwhile, NXT officials are preparing to place Neville in singles feuds with both Hideo Itami and Finn Balor. The possibility of a NXT title triple threat feud with Neville, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn has also been discussed.
Opinionated View- Neville is an amazing talent I just hope WWE doesn't blow it with him of course the rumors are he is going to be given a dumb gimmick.

The Undertaker Will Reportedly Appear At Wrestlemania 31 In Some Capacity
WWE wants to induct The Undertaker into the 2015 Hall of Fame if he decides not to wrestle at Wrestlemania 31. Either way, they are planning on Undertaker making an appearance in some capacity. That’s why he was included in advertisements even though it’s unknown if he’ll wrestle.
WWE is still hoping he will compete and are preparing Bray Wyatt to be his opponent.
Opinionated View- Dear lord I pray he doesn't wrestle. Taker hasn't had a good match in years outside of the one at Mania Punk carried him to. The last match was the fucking pits last thing we need is for him to come back and beat Wyatt.

Opinionated View- Well I am hopeful this still means there will be a PPV in April of some kind and I don't mean a 1 night only a 3 hour feature. Look I've been a fan of TNA's booking and feel they were in a great place when they left Spike so I'm excited to see the build to Lockdown.

Brock Lesnar Not Getting Heat For Possibly Leaving WWE
According to The Wrestling Observer, there is no backstage heat on Brock Lesnar over his potentially leaving after his current WWE deal expires. Officials are still negotiating with Lesnar hoping he will agree to a new deal but if he leaves, there are said to be no hard feelings.
The site adds that tonight’s Raw appearance will be his final unannounced appearance before
WrestleMania. Lesnar has been advertised for the show, but not officially announced. Since they believe Lesnar brings big business, they will try to maximize the impact of Lesnar’s remaining appearances.
Opinionated View- They can't be that shocked Brock could leave it's not like he didn't leave the company with almost no notice man years ago. Plus the facts are Brock is looking the make the most money he can. So if he think can go back to UFC than he will. Important to note this only talks about management not the wrestlers who I'm sure are split on being glade there is one less part time taking up money or wishing they could leave as well.

Christian Officially Retired From the Ring
According to PWInsider, Jerry Lawler referring to both Edge & Christian as “retired” on Raw wasn’t an error. Christian has been pulled from the ring due to the series of injuries and concussions he suffered during his current run and is considered retired as an in-ring performer.
The site adds that he has “about a year” on his current deal with WWE.
Opinionated View- I wish he could have gotten that last great run in but I think it's time when you get injured that often call it a career and move onto the next stage of life.

Update on the Future Booking of Sting & Seth Rollins
At this time, the likely match for Sting at WrestleMania 31 is against Triple H. It is also being reported that another possible match for Sting in 2015 would be against Seth Rollins. Reports call this match a “long shot” at this time, but that it has been discussed.
Another theory is that Rollins could end up in the WWE Title scene sooner rather than later. Rollins holds the Money in the Bank contract, and as of late has been taking more losses, which often happens prior to a cash in.
Opinionated View- Sting? Oh you mean that guy that showed up once for five second has not appeared since. Look I'm a Sting fan but the orange is out juice. Sting vs. Triple H could have been a good match in 2001 but now hell no. It doesn't help as I said Sting has just disappeared. The only reason to Sting vs. Rollins is for Sting to do the job.
And I have never gotten the logic in having the guy with the MITB lose all the time. Maybe have him drop one or two matches to set up a natural number 1 contender. But to lose all the time. You want the champion to be Strong not a jobber.

Daniel Bryan to Appear at WWE Raw
WWE star Daniel Bryan posted the following on Twitter earlier today:
"Everyone comes to a crossroads in their life and I've come to mine. I look forward to telling you all about it tonight on #Raw."
Opinionated View- I really hope this is him announcing he is returning and will be in the Royal Rumble. Sadly there is a very good chance he might have to announce he is retiring.
More Details On Adrian Neville’s Main Roster Gimmick
It was previously reported that Adrian Neville will be getting a “Mighty Mouse” like gimmick when he arrives on the main roster. The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestlezone) reports that Neville won’t be dressing like a mouse character, even though it’s inspired by the small yet powerful cartoon. Instead, his gimmick is said to be more like Crash
Opinionated View- The gimmick still sounds stupid for Neville. Crash was able to do it because it worked for Crash. Neville is a different style wrestler. Also when Crash was doing it WWE didn't have much comedy. Now WWE has to much comedy

Kevin Nash No Longer Set For Raw Reunion Special
- Kevin Nash is no longer set to appear on the January 19th Raw Reunion show in Dallas, Texas. While Nash is still advertised for the show on WWE.com and the American Airlines Arena site, WrestlingInc cites a WWE source as confirming that Nash will not be at the show.
The pulling of Nash is of course due to the suspension of his Legends contract, which happened after he was involved in a domestic incident with his son over the holidays
Opinionated View- Now if only we could cancel the whole dumb reunion. Enough give time to the current guys on the main roster.

WWE News: NXT act debuting on Raw
The Ascension are scheduled to make their debut on Monday's Raw television show, according to the WWE website.
Opinionated View- They are a great team (Not as good as the days where TNA's Bram was a member) sadly on those videos they are starting to come off more and more as a Road Warrior Clones. Also it doesn't help the tag division on the main roster sucks big time.

WWE Keeping Bray Wyatt Strong Incase of Undertaker WM Bout
WWE reportedly doesn’t want Bray Wyatt to lose to Dean Ambrose and have been very careful in booking their feud. There are still talks of having Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31, so WWE doesn’t want Wyatt to look weak before that match.
Opinionated View-
Oh for god's sake than you shouldn't have had Wyatt lose 600 times clean to Cena thus making Wyatt look weak. Even worse losing like this to Wyatt is hurting Ambrose who going into this feud was the much hotter act than Wyatt. Don't get me wrong I like Wyatt but going into this feud Ambrose needed the wins more. Wyatt needed to be rebuilt some.

TNA Upset With Final Spike TV Episodes
TNA officials are said to be upset that Spike TV decided to move the last two “best of” episodes of Impact Wrestling to late night. Officials thought that the final two episodes would air in their normal 9-11 PM ET time
Opinionated View- They should be upset because those shows featured ads for the ShopTNA sales and the next set of tapings and well by dicking around with the time less people saw them. The good news is TNA is now onto a network that wants to work with them and Spike can air more shit like Cops and Dumb Tattoo Shows Number 7

AJ Lee News: Backstage Heat For Slammy Speech, Negative Reaction To Appearing With Punk At UFC, More
Several people backstage in WWE weren’t happy about AJ Lee’s speech during the Slammy Awards. It wasn’t said to be scripted the way she said it. Some see it as a shot at every Diva in WWE, except for Paige.
There was also a negative reaction to AJ taking time off to be with CM Punk for his UFC signing announcement at UFC 181 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There is also said to have been an incident last month, called a “hiccup” with AJ, that happened backstage. This resulted in AJ being removed from an episode of WWE Main Event. We’ll reveal more details as we get them.
Opinionated View- You gotta be careful with any report given how AJ News of the day has taken the place of Sting news of the day. Of course I can see WWE being petty enough to be upset she dared to support her husband. And so what if she insulted the other divas they other divas should be insulted.

Morale At All Time Low in WWE?
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that morale in WWE has gotten worse since the Vince McMahon interview on the live WWE Network edition of Steve Austin’s podcast. The problem among the talent is that they feel McMahon buried just about everyone outside of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt and the now-infamous “brass ring” comments hit home for a lot of midcard guys who were pushed in a very start-stop manner.
Another notable point among the talent who were down on the interview were the burial of Cesaro, who at one point was believed to have top babyface potential before his heel turn. Morale got bad enough that Triple H did a speech to the whole roster in an attempt at damage control that backfire. It is said that the NXT guys love him, but that he lost credibility with the main roster guys who have been there for a long time.
Opinionated View- I've said it all along the current roster isn't allowed to even jump up and grab the ring. If I'm a guy whose on the main roster right now and I'm not one of the golden children I would give up. I'd keep working I'd make my money but I'd also assume things will never change.

Gail Kim Not Under Contract to TNA?
TNA Knockout Gail Kim is reportedly not signed to a new long-term deal with TNA. However, Kim has reportedly agreed to work for TNA on a per-appearance agreement, so Kim will likely still appear in TNA after the Destination America move.
Opinionated View- I wouldn't worry to much. Remember TNA was kind of stuck in a spot with out a TV deal. Gail is not going back to hell... I mean the WWE Divas Division. The hold up could be that Gail who is now 37 might want to take time off to be with her husband.

AJ Lee Reportedly Injured
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AJ Lee is currently out due to injury. The site reports that Lee had been working hurt so that WWE could wrap up her feud with Nikki Bella. There had been a plan to do a big injury angle to write AJ off of TV, but they were scrapped for some reason.
AJ’s time off is a big reason why Naomi and Natalya were moved into contender positions for the title. The plan was originally to have Naomi go for the title, but they look to be leaning in Natalya’s direction now. AJ is expected to be back in 2015 once she’s healed up

Is WWE Giving Up on Roman Reigns?
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins may very well cash-in his banged up Money in the Bank briefcase at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV and winning the WWE World Championship. If in fact WWE pulls the trigger, Seth will be booked to cash the briefcase on John Cena if he somehow manages to take out Brock Lesnar w...ith a feud between Cena and Rollins going forward.\
Unfortunately for another former Shield member, management seems to be having doubts about Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble Match due to fan-reaction being near dull during his 'bout against Big Show this past Monday on RAW. Possible names to be booked to win the traditional match are Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler.
Dean himself is a big rumored name to win should the creative team not book Roman for the win.
Opinionated View- Dear God, Baby Jesus, and every other figure from religion I want this to be true. I can't express how much I want this to be true. The problem is its a Dave Meltzer story and well Dave love to just post random BS to get his hits up. It contradicts everything we have been hearing all year. And WWE doesn't give up on its lame ideas.

WWE Suspends Kevin Nash's Legends Contract
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that Kevin Nash’s WWE Legends contract has been suspended as a result of the arrest. Nash signed a five-year deal with the WWE Legends program in 2011, which encompasses promotional and TV appearances.
WWE released a statement on Nash’s arrest earlier today, saying: “Kevin Nash has not regularly performed for WWE since January 2004. He is currently under a non-wrestling ‘legends’ contract, which has been immediately suspended until this domestic dispute is resolved.”
Port Orange attorney Mark Politis, who was speaking on behalf of the Nash family, said he “didn’t think the incident will affect Kevin’s WWE career.”
Politis also stated on the incident: “It’s an unfortunate situation. They’re a good family. I’m hoping the State Attorney’s Office will receive my information and dismiss the charges. The kid was out of control, and the father was defending his wife. I’m pretty confident we will have a resolution in the next couple of months.”
