Dustin Runnels Comments on the Death of his Farther Dusty Rhodes

WWE star Dustin "Goldust" Runnels commented on the passing of his father, Dusty Rhodes, on Thursday with the following on his Facebook:

"Yesterday my father passed away with his four children, my daughter and his wife of 38 yrs. he was our hero and the greatest father in the world. He is the reason why I am who I am today. He taught me so so many lessons in life. He had 1 thing that he wanted to be and that was he wanted to be forever young. Now he is. Now he is dancing with angels in heaven. He was my mentor, my hero and a dad that I strive to be like. I love you dad. Thank you for all the overwhelmingly amount of love and support. He would have been on cloud 9 with this. Thank you all. Dustin Runnels"

Goldust Will Be Out 2-4 Months

WWE star Goldust via Twitter on Tuesday evening.

Opinionated View- I would never wish injury on anyone but I really hope he doesn't come back. You want to give him a run as an agent or something fine. But I don't want to see him wrestle anymore.

Update on Where The Goldust vs. Stardust Feud May Be Heading

According to pwinsider.com, there have been plans to break up Goldust and Stardust to set up a WrestleMania singles bout for some time. Once source says that there has been talk of moving Goldust into a producer’s role following WrestleMania. The match with Stardust would be a way to write out Goldust and to also give Stardust some momentum as a singles performer. The two are set to face off at Fastlane, at this time it is not known if this will be a one off or if this will play into the WrestleMania build.

Opinionated View-Hopefully WWE will have Cody destroy Goldust at Fast Lane and than have him drop the Stardust gimmick. And than instead of a match at Mania let Cody just win that Battle Royal. The Sooner we don't have to see Goldust on TV the better

Goldust Retiring From The RIng?

According to PWInsider, one of the most talked about stories within WWE this past week was how Goldust is wrapping up his in-ring career.The talk is that Goldust will begin transitioning from a wrestler back to a full-time agent & producer soon. The change won't happen until after WrestleMania 31, so Goldust still has a few more months left as a full-time wrestler.It's believed the tag team of Goldust and Stardust will start to slowly fade out over the next few months. The idea is that Stardust will be a singles wrestler. There's no word yet if they plan on finally doing the Goldust vs. Stardust match but it's always possible.

Opinionated View- Long over due Goldust should have hung it up a long time ago. Hopefully this ends the stupid Stardust gimmick for ever. But knowing WWE Goldust will go over and still pop up like all the other legends.

Tag Title Match Added to Survivor Series

Goldust and Stardust defending the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Fatal 4 Way match against The Usos, Los Matadores and The Miz & Damien Mizdow has been announced for the Survivor Series PPV this Sunday night in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ryback and Curtis Axel challenged Goldust and Stardust to a match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The challenge was issued during Tuesday's WWE Main Event television show.

Update on Cody Rhodes/Goldust Split

WWE is planning to split Cody Rhodes and Goldust and then feud the brothers. WWE has been teasing the split on TV, and Cody will be the heel when the team officially breaks up.

Update on Status of Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust Match for WrestleMania 30 (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust is no longer happening at WrestleMania 30. Unless WWE decides to change their plans over the next week, the split between The Brotherhood will not happen. No reason has been revealed on why WWE opted not to put the match on the card. The split was expected to happen after the duo lost the WWE tag team titles to the New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble.

Cody Rhodes And Goldust Plans

- Cody Rhodes vs Goldust is set for Wrestlemania 30, and the two will split up at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Goldust originally signed a deal that would expire right after Wrestlemania. Instead, the contract has been extended until after Summerslam. He will likely become an agent backstage after his run is over. 

Opinionated View- Well I guess after year of begging and pleading Goldust is finally getting his wish. I'm sick of this guy getting chance after chance after chance. You know he's going to blow it.

Note on Outlaws vs. Rhodes Feud

- There was a lot of back and forth on the Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs New Age Outlaws tag team title match scheduled for the Royal Rumble Kickoff show on Sunday. Originally WWE wanted to do the tag title match on Smackdown last week, but instead decided to run the non-title match to give the Outlaws a win so they could book the title match on the PPV.

Opinionated View- All I can say is bullshit. The Outlaws have no business getting a title match or getting on this card.

-The Kickoff for the Royal Rumble match will be the previously announced Goldust and Cody Rhodes vs. The New Age Outlaws for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Opinionated View- Are you telling me that on one of the biggest shows of the year they can find a match for the freaking Old in Age Outlaws and Goldust. For the love of god it 2014 and we still put up with this shit. Yet we got The Usos, Tyson Kidd etc who at best will be lucky to get in the rumble. Oh but I bet Billy Rodd Dogg and Goldust all get in the rumble. 

Match Set for 1/17 WWE Smackdown

As announced on last night's (1/13) WWE RAW, The New Age Outlaws vs. WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Goldust will take place on the 1/17 edition of WWE Smackdown, which will be taped tonight in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Opinionated View- Why? Its bad enough that Goldust in on TV all the time now we the Outlaws on each show. Again these guys all have had there chance to star but instead we are getting them again in 2014 I won't be shocked if the outlaws get a Royal Rumble match at this rate

Why Did The Rhodes Brothers Win The Tag Titles on Raw?

- One of the reasons that Cody Rhodes and Goldust won the tag team titles on Monday's Raw was because Vince McMahon was not happy that heels held all of the WWE Titles.

Opinionated View- So why not put the WWE title on face Daniel Bryan when you had a chance oh right that would make sense and you wanted to reward Goldust for staying sober for 3 days.

Tag Team Title Match Discussed For Hell in a Cell

Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. The Shield's Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns for the WWE Tag Team Titles was originally scheduled for the Hell in a Cell PPV. Vince McMahon made the call to move the match to last night's Raw and do the title change.

At this time, the company is looking to do Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. The Shield's Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. The Usos at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

Opinionated View- There is some good talent there but Goldust sucks so much he will drag them all down. Giving him a title again is a joke. It screws over the Shield doesn't help Cody at all and screws the Usos who were supposed to be number one contender. 

Update on Goldust’s WWE Future

The latest on Goldust's WWE status is that his current deal with WWE could run through WrestleMania XXX. There is also still talk of doing the rumored Goldust vs. Cody match at some point, which is something that both brothers have been wanting for some time.

Opinionated View- Given that its Goldust there is a good chance he does something stupid and get fired. But why give him another chance? And no I don't think a match with Goldust will be good for Cody's career.
