WWE Confirms New Talent Signing

WWE.com announced on Tuesday that Ricochet, a former New Japan Pro Wrestling and Lucha Underground star, has signed a deal with the company.
Ricochet is scheduled to be reporting to NXT and the Performance Center, along with other signees that will be announced over the coming days by WWE.
He finished up his remaining independent dates this past weekend at the PWG event in California and had finished up dates towards the end of 2017 with New Japan and Lucha Underground before his signing with WWE.
Ricochet has worked with most of the big independents throughout the course of his career, including the WWN family of promotions, CZW, Beyond Wrestling and several tours of the Dragon Gate promotion in Japan. Under the Prince Puma character, he was heavily featured in the first three seasons of Lucha Underground.
WWE on Tuesday announced the signing of independent women’s wrestling star Candice LeRae (Candice Dawson) to the company, where she will be reporting to NXT and the Performance Center alongside fellow signees.
LeRae, the wife of NXT star Johnny Gargano, is most known for her time in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) from 2006 to 2015, taking part in a long-standing rivalry and eventual tag-team with Joey Ryan as part of the World’s Cutest Tag Team, winning the PWG Tag Team Championships.
LeRae has also competed for SHIMMER, CZW, AIW and several other prominent independent companies, including a run for DDT in Japan as part of her decade-plus long career.
LeRae went on to compete in the Mae Young Classic tournament last year, losing in the quarter-finals to Mae Young Classic runner-up and NXT star Shayna Baszler.
WWE.com has announced the signing of the tag team War Machine (Todd “War Beard Hanson” Smith and Raymond Rowe) on Tuesday afternoon.
Smith and Rowe are best known for spending time in New Japan Pro Wrestling holding the IWGP Tag Team Championships and a run in Ring of Honor as ROH Tag Team Champions.
The article notes the tag team will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, joining newly signed talent Ricochet who was confirmed earlier today.
