At tonight's IMPACT Wrestling TV Tapings that former World Champion Eddie Edwards has been taken to a local hospital.
After a match with Sami Callihan, Sami put Edwards head between a chair and attacked Edwards with a baseball bat. However, the bat accidentally hit Edwards across the head.
Eddie was able to walk to the back holding his head however once he got to the back the scene has been described as 'a ton of blood'.
The decision was made by the on site doctor to have him taken to the local hospital for advanced medical care rather than have him tended to by on-site doctor and paramedics.
