WWE Files to Have Two Lawsuits Moved

WWE has separately filed to have two lawsuits against them moved. PWInsider reports that the company filed motions to have both the lawsuit filed by Vito Lograsso and Evan Singleton, as well as the lawsuit filed by Nelson “Viscera” Frazier’s widow Cassanda, moved from the districts where they were filed to US District Court of Connecticut. The motion to move the Lograsso/Singleton suit out of Pennsylvania has been granted, with the motion in the Frazier suit pending.

As previously reported, the Lograsso/Singleton suit is similar to the one filed by Billy Jack Haynes and alleges that WWE ignored–and thus is liable for–concussions suffered by talents that worked for the company. The Frazier suit is wrongful death suit claiming that his heart attack and death was due to the trauma he suffered during his career.

WWE also filed an extension for the Frazier suit, which the judge in that case granted. He informed WWE that if the move to Connecticut is granted, they will have 30 days past the ruling to file their response.
