Earlier today, it was reported that the 2016 Royal Rumble PPV event is currently set for Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Amway Center in Orlando Florida.
Pwinsider.com reports that the date will likely be changed, due to the NFL holding their conference championships on that same day. This same thing happened a few years ago, and WWE quickly changed the date to the following weekend to avoid competing with the NFL.
