- The Wrestling Observer Radio Show (via Rajah.com) expanded on the apparent issue of the main WWE roster being outdone by the NXT roster with the NXT Takeover: R Evolution show. Previously, the Observer reported that R Evolution made the roster very motivated, so TLC and Stairs could turn out even better. However, per the radio show, the NXT event reportedly caused a lot of frustration for the main roster.
Per the report, main roster talents are frustrated that NXT talents get opportunities they do not. In addition, the NXT talents apparently get better booking in terms of their in-ring work and the creative direction of the product. In addition, the WWE crew is frustrated because they do not get the same chances to prove they are just as good as the wrestlers on NXT.
On one hand, the frustrations the talents on the roster face make sense. Especially when Vince McMahon sent a message that the current generation does not want to grab the brass ring, except for John Cena. On the other hand, if the report by the Observer Radio is accurate, the main roster should not take that anger out at NXT. At the end of the day, NXT is still a developmental league, and it’s only available through a digital subscription network. NXT has a great in-ring product. Of that there is no doubt, but it’s still a developmental product. There is no guarantee that all the NXT Superstars who are killing it there will soon get that call-up and will become main event Superstars in the WWE. Praise and acceptance on the internet isn’t going to get the wrestlers on the main roster bigger paychecks.
Opinionated View- Don't worry main roster eventually the NXT boys will wind up on the main roster and have there talent buried and sprit broken just like you. And remember to all the people hyping up NXT just remember Sami Zayn is the freaking bunny.
