- Word is that the scene backstage at the WWE Battleground PPV was chaotic. While the script for the show was reportedly finished sometime on Friday before the PPV, the finishes for the matches were not set until two hours before the show started.
- Many feel that the delay in the finishes being set led to swings in the betting odds for the show. It is believed that WWE employees call or text friends or family to place bets for them as soon as they become aware of the final creative plans.
Opinionated View- First who bets on pro wrestling? I mean I get betting on real sports but this is staged. Second that show was awful but it was bound to be awful no matter what they did.
