- As we previously reported, a rumor began floating around that Rancid would be doing a new theme song for CM Punk after Punk showed up at a concert for the band. That rumor was initially false; Punk is a long-time friend to the punk band but there were no plans at that point to give Punk a new theme. However, there is now talk backstage that Punk may indeed get a new theme song soon.
