In the past, WWE had run “best of” episodes when the show fell on major holidays. December 25 and January 1 both fall on a Monday this year and next.
WWE added the following.
“This marks the first time that WWE will present Monday night’s hottest show live on the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. These unprecedented broadcasts aim to best serve you, the WWE Universe, during the holiday season.”
Opinionated View- Oh this won't go well. First WWE puts out to many hours of TV they don't need to do more. Second holiday shows are always bad and come off as another afterthought. Third It being a live show won't the ratings as a lot of people on those nights are with family or out having a party. Fourth I just feel bad for wrestlers and everyone else who now has to work on those holidays.
