Last night’s episode of WWE Smackdown hit the lowest point of the “Thursdays on SyFy” era. The episode drew 2.338 million viewers and a 0.62 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 12% and 11% respectively from 2.642 million and a 0.72 demo rating last week.
The numbers are the lowest since the December 19th, 2014 episode drew 1.995 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. However, it must be noted that the December 19th episode was a replay following a live Smackdown. The lowest before that was the October 31st episode which drew 2.21 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating.
Opinionated View- Well the key thing to remember is the fact it went against the NFL Draft and NBA Playoffs. That said you could also look at it as Smackdown was so boring people would rather watch a guy reading off names at a podium than watch it.
