The darker lighting on this week’s Impact in New York City was said to be a conscious choice by John Gaburick. He decided to light more of the ring and less of the crowd so the television audience’s attention was on the in-ring action. The company is still trying to find the right balance between lighting the ring and appearing to be “fan friendly”.
Opinionated View- I am ok with them not lighting the fans as much but ringside needed be better lit it was hard to see what was going on at time. It also made it a little hard to see what was going on during the riot at the start.
