TNA Impact Wrestling tapings for January 30, 2014:
*In-ring segment with TNA Champion Magnus & EC3. Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe come out and challenge Magnus & EC3 to a tag match. Magnus & EC3 accept, although TNA President Dixie Carter comes out and refuses. Magnus convinces her to make the match because he is a true champion and she finally does. Stips are if Angle & Joe lose, the person pinned must leave TNA. If Angle & Joe win, the person that gets the win gets a TNA Title shot.
1. TNA Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne & Velvet Sky def. Gail Kim & Lei'D Tapa
* Afterwards, Chris Sabin comes out and asks Velvet to apologize to him for costing him the X Title. Velvet instead breaks up with Sabin.
* In-ring segment with James Storm & Gunner where they settle their issues with each other. Bad Influence comes out and challenge them to a tag match, leading to....
2. James Storm & Gunner def. Bad Influence
* In-ring segment with Rockstar Spud & The Wolves. Spud demands to know who the new investor is, but the Wolves beat him down. Davey Richards says that the investor wanted to pass along that if anyone got involved in the main event, they would be fired.
3. TNA Tag Team Champions The Bro-Mans def. Abyss & Eric Young by DQ when Abyss lays out everyone, including Young and the ref. Young proclaims next week, its himself vs. Abyss in a Monster's Ball Match.
* In-ring segment with Bully Ray where he comes out with a casket. Bully calls out Mr. Anderson and challenges him to a casket match. Anderson accepts, the two brawl and Anderson clears Bully from the ring.
4. Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe def. TNA Champion Magnus & EC3 when Joe chokes out Magnus with the Kokina Clutch, earning Joe a TNA Title shot.
* MVP comes out and is revealed to be the new TNA investor as the show ends.
During today's (1/30) TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Glasgow, Scotland, it was revealed that former WWE & New Japan star MVP is the new storyline investor of TNA. The reveal took place after the main event of the show, when Dixie Carter demanded the new investor show himself. The lights went out and when they came back on, MVP was in the ring and that is what closed the show. The segment will air on tonight's (1/30) TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV.
