During a recent appearance on Nerdiest podcast, Stephanie McMahon discussed WWE’s decision to drop the Elimination Chamber PPV. McMahon explained that a major reason in dropping the event was the logistics hanging the chamber structure, which weighs approximately 10 tons. Many arenas across the US have been adding elaborate high-tech scoreboards above where the ring is set up. Due to this change, it’s become increasingly hard to hang the structure in those arenas.
Opinionated View- I think the real reason is it cost to much money to haul the thing around and given they cut so much staff they don't have enough to set it up. Plus the PPV never sold well. Just drop the February PPV.
