Two Possible Returns For Raw

– At the WWE TLC PPV, Braun Strowman was beaten down by The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, and Kane, placed in a garbage truck and the compactor turned on, seemingly killing the big man. But last week, the Raw announce team gave a storyline update, stating that Strowman could be out for “weeks or months.”

According to PWinsider.com, Samoa Joe is in Baltimore for tonight’s WWE Raw taping. Joe has been out of action following several surgeries, one to repair a nagging knee issue and the other to fix his nose, which had been broken a number of times, and had been expected back this month.

Nia Jax Expected To Return on Raw

PWInsider reports that Nia Jax is expected to be back on WWE TV for tomorrow’s edition of Raw. Jax has recently been off TV for several weeks.
There were several contradictory reports regarding Jax’s recent absence from TV. However, the latest report from Sports Illustrated stated that Nia Jax’s “leave of absence” was due to Jax not wanting to lose clean to Sasha Banks at WWE TLC.
The report also stated that Jax called her cousin, The Rock (aka Dwayne Johnson), and asked for his advice. The Rock reportedly advised her to walk away if she was unhappy. Other reports indicated that Jax was off TV due to some nagging back issues.

Opinionated View- So we lose Emma and Jax is coming back. Life isn't fair.

Emma, Darren Young, and Summer Rae Released From WWE

Moments ago, WWE.com announced the release of Emma from the company.
“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Emma. WWE wishes Emma the best in all of her future endeavors.”
Emma (Tenille Dashwood) just took part in a match with Asuka in what was Asuka’s main roster debut last Sunday at the TLC PPV. The two also had a rematch on RAW the following night.
She signed a developmental deal with WWE back in 2011 after a stint on the independent wrestling scene that started in 2005 and later restarted back up in 2008 after injuries.
Dashwood has not commented on the release as of this morning.

WWE has announced the releases of Darren Young and Summer Rae this morning.
This comes just a little less than an hour after the release of Emma was announced.
The updated statement reads:
“WWE has come to terms on the releases of WWE Superstars Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae. WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors.”
Young had quietly returned to the roster at live events after suffering an injury to his right elbow earlier this year in January. He underwent surgery this past February. Young signed a deal with WWE back in 2009 as part of the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory and was later part of the televised NXT show with CM Punk as his coach. He was later part of the Nexus group and then took part in season five of NXT.

Young formed a tag team with Titus O’Neil as The Prime Time Players and after a lengthy run including a stint as WWE Tag Team Champions, the team split up and Young was paired with Hall of Famer Bob Backlund. He also made headlines back in 2013 coming out as gay, receiving full support from WWE management and members of the roster. Young later criticized WWE for touring Abu Dhabi where homosexuality is considered a crime
.
Summer Rae has been off WWE television for nearly a year after suffering a series of injuries that kept her off the road. Reports earlier this year stated she was being cleared for a return to the company, but it never took place. Rae signed with WWE in 2011 as part of Florida Championship Wrestling and later transitioned to NXT. She made her main roster debut in 2013 being paired as a dancer with Fandango.

Opinionated View- Emma could never catch a break she was given that stupid dancing gimmick and got pared up with Santino. Than they wasted how much time on Emmalina and instead of pushing her she was used to enhance people like Jax and Askua. Not helping her were some injures and that shoplifting incident. That said for the love of god all the people you could cut its one of the ones with talent. I mean Fox, botchy Banks, Bayle or Jax who just walked out you keep yet its Emma that gets fired. Nothing against either of them but why one of the fake Megan Olivis?

Young is a guy that was never that good can't even say there was anything he did well in or out of the ring. He wasn't even that good doing promos or anything. Hell I've openly said if he hadn't come out as gay I think he would have been cut a long time ago. That all said Kane, Big Show, Henry all old men who part timers or not I bet draw much bigger Paychecks that Young does.

Summer I always felt had potential to be a great valet. Be this generations Woman Missy Hyatt. But she never really got that chance. She often wound up having to wrestle when she really wasn't a great wrestler. Often the stories she was in were all about dumb comedy instead of ever letting her build heat.

Who Else Could Have Replaced Wyatt at TLC?

– In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that Chris Jericho was the first choice to replace Bray Wyatt against ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor at WWE TLC this past Sunday. However, Jericho was unable to make the appearance as he’s currently on tour with Fozzy. It’s unknown if there was anyone else contacted before Styles, but eventually WWE chose The Phenomenal One to take on The Demon for the first time in WWE. Styles had been on tour with Smackdown in Chile at the time and flew eighteen hours to get back in time.

Opinionated View- Well thank god that didn't happen. Last thing we need is another Jericho phone in job. Instead we got the first great match out of AJ since joining the WWE. To bad WWE pissed it all away the next night.

Jeff Jarrett checks himself into rehabilitation facility on Wednesday

Jeff Jarrett checked himself into an in-patient rehabilitation facility on Wednesday according to reports by PWInsider.com and Pro Wrestling Sheet late tonight.
This comes 24 hours after a promoter in Canada claimed Jarrett showed up to an event last weekend intoxicated, with video showing Jarrett slurring his words on the microphone.
It’s been a rough week for Jarrett as Anthem and Impact Wrestling announced on Monday that they would be ending their relationship with Jarrett and GFW going forward.
The report by Ryan Satin stated that it appears to be WWE sponsored rehab

RCW promoter says Jeff Jarrett passed out from drinking backstage

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is featuring an article about Jeff Jarrett and an appearance he was involved with for RCW in Canada this past weekend.

Details began to emerge over the weekend stating that Jarrett had been booked for two appearances in Canada for the Real Canadian Wrestling promotion and that Jarrett ending up flying home early, skipping out on a scheduled appearance on Saturday.

According to the article, RCW promoter Steven Ewaschuk claims Jarrett arrived to the venue on Friday late and appeared to be intoxicated. Jarrett informed him that he had issues at the Canadian border that caused him to be late, adding he had to be back at the airport by 6:00 a.m. the next day to resolve the issues that started on Friday.

Ewaschu said Jarrett continued to drink backstage at the venue, “passed out” in the locker room during the show and had to be woken up at the intermission to take pictures with fans. He also stated that Jarrett insisted on wrestling that night and attempted to take part in a 20 minute match. Talent involved in the main event were forced to stall when Jarrett did not immediately come out when his music was played for the match.

After the match concluded, Ewaschu paid Jarrett and “expressed his unhappiness” about the situation. He claims Jarrett planned to update them on the border situation, but never followed up. They instead found out the following day when Jarrett never arrived at the venue in Edmonton that he would not be part of the show. RCW was filming footage during Jarrett’s match on Friday night and passed along the footage to Pro Wrestling Sheet.

Based on the video footage, it’s pretty clear that Jarrett was intoxicated based on his speech. Jarrett also appears to have a rough time in the ring around the 3:00 mark of the video. When reached for comment, Jarrett told Pro Wrestling Sheet that the promoter was an “amateur” and denied ever passing out backstage during the show.

Anthem and Impact Wrestling announced on Monday that they were officially ending the business relationship with Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling effective immediately. It remains to be seen if this situation in Canada helped escalate that decision. Anthem had already started phasing out any references to GFW in recent weeks.

Backstage News On Kane Beating Finn Balor On RAW & Negative Locker Room Reaction To It

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the controversial decision to have Kane pin Finn Balor on RAW last night. Many on social media found the booking decision odd since Balor had just beaten AJ Styles at WWE TLC the night before and Kane had not wrestled a singles match in over a year, plus WWE having many people besides Balor who could have been fed to Kane as a way of building him up for his Survivor Series match with Braun Strowman.
Meltzer said that his backstage sources, who usually defend Vince McMahon, were surprised and struggled to explain why Balor would lose to Kane. These sources also noted that many of the wrestlers backstage questioned the decision as well.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet speculated that WWE may be creating a storyline where Balor has to be “The Demon” to defeat major opponents.

Backstage News on Tonight's Smackdown

According to PWinsider.com, Sami Zayn will take on Randy Orton, with the winner joining Smackdown’s Survivor Series team. Dolph Ziggler will take on Bobby Roode for a spot on the team as well, with one source claiming that they will have a two out of three falls match.

Impact Wrestling terminates relationship with Jeff Jarrett and GFW

Impact Wrestling’s relationship with Jeff Jarrett and GFW has come to an end.
Anthem and Impact Wrestling announced on Monday in a statement on Twitter that the relationship between Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling is now officially done.

The company announced last month that Jarrett would be taking an “indefinite leave of absence” from the company, only a few months into the working relationship between Jarrett and the new owners Anthem Sports and Entertainment.

This announcement comes just two weeks before the company’s Bound for Glory PPV in Ottawa. While Anthem’s Ed Nordholm stated publicly he was hopeful Jarrett would return to the company down the line, that is no longer the case.

As already reported on, Impact started heavily phasing out the use of the GFW name and putting emphasis back on describing the company as Impact Wrestling when promoting the upcoming Bound for Glory PPV. What this means for the situation involving the championships in the company going forward remains to be seen.

Taryn Terrell Departs Impact Wrestling

Impact announced via their Twitter account on Friday that Knockout Taryn Terrell has departed the company in what was deemed as “mutually parting ways”.

Impact had announced last night on their latest episode on POP TV that Terrell was no longer a part of the Knockouts Title Match at the Bound for Glory PPV on November 5 in Ottawa against Sienna, Allie and Gail Kim.

Terrell returned to the company earlier this summer after a two-year absence. Terrell was in TNA/Impact from 2012 to 2015, notably having a successful feud with Gail Kim, and left due to her religious beliefs with the feeling that wrestling wasn’t the right fit for her anymore.

Opinionated View- My thought and concern is I hope she's okay. I know she also pulled out of an indy appearance with personal problems.

10/19 Impact Wrestling Report

Earlier today, we see Moose and Stephan Bonnar roll in with American Top Team's championship titles. ATT is also in the house tonight with an angry Lashley.
- Recap of last week's number one contender match where Johnny Impact defeated Garza Jr. Impact will now face GFW Global Championship at Bound for Glory.
Chris Adonis vs. Johnny Impact
Johnny immediately takes down Adonis and lands a huge kick to the face. Elbows to the grounded Adonis, but Adonis fights back. Adonis with a body lock, looking to squeeze all the energy out of Johnny, goes for a pin, only two. Adonis looks for the Adonis Lock shortly after, Johnny starts to weaken as the crowd chants his name. He's able to fight his way back by flipping his legs over the top rope to force the break.

Johnny with a bunch of punches to the midsection and a kick to the face to finally get some momentum back in his favor. Swinging neckbreaker by Johnny, pin, two. Springboard spinning kick by Johnny, goes for another pin, but another two-count as we head to break. Adonis thought he had Johnny in a tough spot up on the top rope, but gets knocked to the match. Countdown to Impact by Johnny lands, pin, 1-2-3!
Winner: Johnny Impact via Pinfall
- Post-match, Eli Drake tried to jump the challenger, but Johnny was able to take Drake down. He then rips off Drake's very white pants off and whips him with Drake's own belt. Adonis finally comes to help out and stomps on Johnny until Drake recovers, the champ then strangles Johnny with his own pants and whips him with the belt a few times until Garza Jr. hits the ring with a chair and clears out Adonis and Drake.
- A reminder that Alberto El Patron will be returning at Bound for Glory.
James Storm vs El Hijo del Fantasma vs. EC3 vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Texano

At the Hard Rock Cafe in Cancun, this match is every man for himself, so despite working together for weeks, we're seeing things break down within alliances. EC3 works away on Fantasma on the edge of the ring as everyone gets in their shots on each other. Texano and Fantasma start hammering away at each other. EC3 want to get the pin on Eddie Edwards, but things quickly break down again as Storm tries to get the pin. EC3 yells at Storm that he is going to get the pin. The three start fighting until Fantasma jumps back in.
Storm and Texano with huge back and forth punches, Fantasma gets involved and Storm/Exano work together to beat up Fantasma. This is a really weird war. Texano ends up getting the win on EC3 since Team Impact wasn't working together at all.
Winner: Texano wins via Pinfall
- oVe head back to Tijuana, despite LAX saying not to return. Konnan says he deal with oVe if they put their tag titles up at the next The CRASH event.
- Backstage, after their match, EC3 and Storm argue about losing and Edwards says he's going to Japan, so the other two need to team up and learn how to work together.

- In Jim Cornette's office, we see Scott D'Amore, Cornette, and Dan Lambert yelling at each other about what happened at ATT's facility.
Andrew Everett (with Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley) vs. Dezmond Xavier
Xavier can barely get going before Lee trips him up from the outside, Everett takes advantage and goes for a pin early on. It's been all Everett so far, but Xavier hits a nice cutter as he tries to get some momentum in this one. Multiple running elbows, he looks to head up to the top, but Konley jumps up on the apron for the distraction, quickly gets knocked off.

Everett sent out to the floor, Xavier with a nice front flip over the top rope to the floor taking out Everett and Konley.
Xavier goes up to the top again, Lee jumps up on the apron and taunts him with the title long enough for Everett to boot Xavier in the head. Xavier recovers, back-handspring kick to the head lands clean and he gets the victory. He then immediately goes back and stares at Lee and his X-Division title.
Winner: Dezmond Xavier vin Pinfall
- During the match, it was announced Taryn Terrell was out of Bound For Glory (not cleared by doctors) and it will now be a triple threat match between Sienna, Gail Kim, and Allie.
- oVe are searching for Konnan, but are told if they want to see him, they have to defend the titles. Dave says that's no problem to security, "We have a match now, so why don't you get the f--- out of my way?" Okay, then.
- Recap of Grado and Joseph Park's history. Grado was fully expecting to go back to England, but Park opened up a never division for his company. Grado working for Park will keep him in the U.S. We then see how hard Grado has been working - while not getting paid much - as Park lives it up.
- Grado heads to the ring, he's heated and demands Park come to the ring. Grado is not happy at all and says "court is in session." Grado proceeds to lay out the evidence of Park taking advantage of him, overworking him, and taking his money. Park tries to tell a joke and a story, but Grado she's he just a piece of...yeah. Grado asks the crowd is Park guilty or not guilty, and the crowd says guilty! Park admits that the temptation of cars, money, and women was too strong. Park says if it wasn't for him and the work visa, Grado wouldn't even be in this country. Park says he hold the power, but Grado responds if he was any kind of man, he would hand it over to him.
Park thinks about it, holds it out, then takes it away. He says he's got a better idea, Park says he has a contract for a match between Grado and himself at Bound for Glory. If Grado wins, he can stay, if he loses he's headed across the pond. Grado immediately agrees and signs it on Park's back. He then says he's going to win and continue to live the American dream. Grado goes to leave and Park tells him to hold up one moment because he missed two things. First, he's in a Monster's Ball Match and it's against Abyss. The crowd went mild for that announcement.
- Backstage, we see American Top Team hanging out.

- In the parking garage, Grado leaving the arena in a hurry, he can't believe he signed to face Abyss. He flips on the radio and suddenly Abyss' music hits. From the back seat comes James Mitchell, who says Abyss and he are going to send Grado straight to to Hell. Grado falls out of the car and runs away.
oVe vs. Black Diamond and Black Danger
Back to Tijuana, Diamond takes out the champs almost immediately as he flips over the top rope to the floor. Jake and Dave get in plenty of double team moves. Dave with a suicide dive on their challengers. Jake then hits a second rope moonsault that mostly overshoots both wrestlers. Jake gets launched up to the air and speared back down to the mat. Dave heads in as Jake tries to recover. Dave sets his opponent up on the top rope and hits a superplex into a powerbomb, pin, Diamond breaks up the pin.
Diamond with a nice springboard cutter, Jake tries to jumps off his brother's back, but gets caught and powerbombed right back on him. We then see Dave going up to the top rope, gets caught, Diamond tries for a hurricanrana, Jake superkicks him in the face. A spike piledriver ends this one.
Winners: oVe win via Pinfall
- Lashley and American Top Team head to the ring.
- Jeremy Borash in the ring as American Top Team (without Lashley) crashes the ring and shove Borash to the mat. Lambert gets on the mic and says this is not the way this is supposed to go down. Lashley initially worked for this company as a favor to Jeff Jarrett. Lambert say he's the biggest pro wrestling fan in the building and that he has the largest pro wrestling memorabilia collection. Lambert then shows off some titles that he has that Ric Flair, Bruno Sammartino and the Road Warriors held. Lambert is suddenly a historian of wrestling, the crowd chants "We don't care" at one point. Lambert shows off some more titles in his collection and calls him the biggest pro wrestling fan in the world title.

Lambert said that Moose and Bonnar poked the bear by trashing their facility. Lambert says he wants King Mo and Lashley to destroy and expose pro wrestling. "It's a bunch of loud mouth, wannabe tough guys who have no idea how to really fight." He wants Bonnar and Moose to show up to Bound for Glory to fight Lashley and King Mo. He wants it to be a fight, not a pro wrestling match. He then says it will be quick and it will end Impact Wrestling. Out to the stage comes Moose and Bonnar with all of ATT's titles. As they head down to the ring, Lashley attacks them from behind. Moose gets thrown into the steel steps, Bonnar has a tough time getting thrown into the ring. Lashley gives both guys a spear as security and referees try to get in the ring. A number of Impact wrestlers head out to the ring, but each of them get destroyed as Lambert commentates annoyingly on the mic. Moose finally gets up and gets speared again, American Top Team celebrates over Moose.
- Back to oVe catching up with Konnan, who's in a ring with some...dancers? oVe offers up the titles for Konnan to touch for a moment, but really they just want their pay and they will leave Tijuana. Konnan says LAX just wants a match at Bound for Glory and not a thing about money. He says it looks like there's going to be another problem and a number of wrestlers surround the ring to beat up oVe. Konnan says to clean up the titles because LAX is taking them back at Bound for Glory.
- Recap of Taya Valkyrie debuting on Impact and her issues with Rosemary, along with Valkyrie misting Rosemary.
Taya Valkyrie vs. Rosemary

The bell can barely ring before these two are tearing away at each other. Rosemary launches Taya across the ring as she charges into the corner, screaming all along the way. Taya looks a bit stunned as she gets suplexed into the middle of the ring. "Rosemary" chant breaks out from the crowd as Taya heads to the apron. Back and forth chops, Taya tries to get away, Rosemary chases but gets her arm caught and she's yanked - shoulder first - into the ring post as we head to break.

Action back in the ring, Taya in control, throwing Rosemary into the corner, goes for a submission on the ropes, but Taya shoves her down to the floor. Taya up to the top rope and hits a rough looking crossbody. Both to their feet and Rosemary gets smacked head-first into the ring post. Both in the ring, nice suplex by Taya, Rosemary stuck in the corner. Taya runs full speed with double knees to her opponents face. She goes for it again, Rosemary dodges it and hits a huge release german suplex. Kicks to the head as both are screaming their heads off. Taya with multiple kicks to the chest, Taya taunts, but Rosemary rises up from the mat. Rosemary goes for Red Wedding, no, Northern Suplex into a double stomp to the face, pin, that will do it.

Winner: Taya Valkyrie via Pinfall
- Post-match, Valkyrie goes for a Road to Valhalla, but Rosemary gets away and mists Taya right in the mug. Taya yells in pain as Rosemary grabs the mic. "We have a knack for making each other see red, don't we?" Rosemary then challenges Taya to a match that could get a little bloody at Bound for Glory.

Young Bucks Turn Down WWE 2K Offer

– It was reported last week that the WWE 2K video game people asked the Young Bucks to work on doing motion capture work for next year’s game. They were told that so many people in last year’s game were using Create-a-Wrestler mode to play as The Bucks that the developers felt they needed the tag team to do the work so that they could get all of their signature moves in the next game. Nick Jackson was asked about this on Twitter, and stated that they turned the deal down…

Nia Jax Reportedly Frustrated With Position in WWE, Not Getting Asuka Match at TLC

Nia Jax has not walked out of WWE, she is said to be frustrated with her position in the company including not getting a match with Asuka at WWE TLC. Wrestling Observer Live reports that while Jax has not walked out as was reported, she is not happy with aspects of her spot in the company.
The site also says that Jax wanted to face Asuka at TLC but that didn’t happen, as Asuka is now set to face Emma in her Raw debut.

Sports Illustrated reports that Jax is also unhappy with her creative direction and pay scale. She could likely make a good amount of money by booking indy dates in addition to a return to plus-size modelling if she were to leave WWE, but that seems unlikely because she’s viewed as having leverage due to being The Rock’s cousin. Due to her connection to the Rock, she is likely to return and actually may come out of this with a larger paycheck.

Opinionated View- To be fair to her she has to take care of herself and make the most money she can in the wrestling business and well it's the Observer so it could be crap. There the PC police happy? Good

TALK ABOUT UTTER BULLSHIT! A PERSON THAT IS SO GREEN AND UNTALENTED IS UPSET! Give me a damn break when I think of all the great talent WWE has wasted and this year buried to get people like Jax over and she's not happy?

10/17 WWE Smackdown Report

Tonight's WWE SmackDown opens with Greg Hamilton introducing SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan. Out he comes to a big pop.
- We're live from Seattle, Washington as Michael Cole welcomes us. He's joined by Byron Saxton and Corey Graves. Cole will be filling in for Tom Phillips for a few weeks as he's "on assignment."
Bryan hits the ring and takes in the home state pop. A "yes!" chant starts up next. Bryan says it's great to be home. Fans chant "welcome home!" next. Bryan says tonight's show will be special. He announces SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya, Tamina Snuka and Lana vs. Naomi, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in six-woman action. Also, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal will have a special announcement and Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler will happen in a rematch from Hell In a Cell. Speaking of HIAC, Bryan wants to address someone who disappointed him at the show - Sami Zayn. When Bryan first became GM of SmackDown, he said all the time that he wanted Sami right here... the music hits and out comes Sami.
Bryan asks if this is really the Sami Zayn he's known for 13 years. Sami asks what's the difference, he's still the same guy. Sami says he's still a great guy, all he did was take back his career. The crowd says this does make Sami a bad guy. Bryan mentions how he's been in Sami's shoes before and Sami takes a shot at Sami for not being able to wrestle any longer. Sami says management did look down on Bryan at one point but the difference is Bryan had the fans. Sami says the fans made Bryan, they made him the Superstar that he was, they made the "Yes! Movement" and put him into the WrestleMania main event. Sami says the fans didn't keep their end of the unspoken agreement they had with him, to make him undeniable to management. They did it for Bryan but not for Sami. Fans boo Sami. The amazing thing is... Sami doesn't care. He repeats this a few times. Sami just doesn't care what fans think anymore and it feels amazing. Sami goes on and says if Bryan would gave done what he did and worked a little smarter, he would still be wrestling. A "Sami sucks" chant starts up. Sami goes on and praises Bryan for his career and how he looked up to Bryan but now, Bryan is the last person Sami would ever want to be like. Sami calls Bryan a housewife. The music interrupts and out comes Kevin Owens with a smile on his face.
Owens says Sami is finally listening to what he advised. Owens wants to clear up a few things. Bryan was what Sami said, practically becoming Mr. Bella. Opinionated View- Well this sucks. WWE is so desperate they just keep tossing stuff at the main event hoping people will eventually care. The Wyatt and Balor feud needed to end months ego and they just keep dragging it on. Enzo sucks and Kalisto isn't interesting. Mickie and Alexa should be good sadly the story has been awful based on Mickie being "old" and we know it will be one and done.

Asuka is highly overrated and knowing WWE they won't let Emma work instead it will be a 30 second squash. CW tag match is going to be boring and for fucks sake another Banks and Fox match who want to see those two untalented hacks wrestle again.
