Big Show and Randy Orton are expected to return during the short build-up between Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank. Both have been ready for returns but have been kept off TV as they aren’t booked for the Chamber PPV.

Two Talents Back on the Road With WWE

Big Show and Layla returned to action at WWE live events this weekend.
Big Show had been originally slated to return to WWE TV last week until plans changed.
Layla had originally returned to the road following WrestleMania 31 and later appeared at an event on 5/11 representing WWE at an event for Susan G. Komen.

Paige Returning Tonight, Update on Big Show and Miz’s Returns

Paige is returning at tonight’s house show in State College, Pennsylvania. Paige hasn’t been on TV since before Extreme Rules when she was attacked by Naomi; she has been filming Santa’s Little Helper in the meantime.
– Big Show is expected to return at the Raw and Smackdown tapings next week. Show has been off TV since losing at Extreme Rules to Roman Reigns.
– The Miz, who was also filming Santa’s Little Helper, is expected to return within the next month. The details of his return aren’t set yet.

The Big Show is advertised for next week’s Smackdown dark match, he will team with Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt to face Dolph Ziggler, Roman Reigns and Ryback. It had been reported that Show would be returning to TV soon.

Big Show Allegedly Involved In Altercation With Radio Personality Today

Online radio personality DJ Quicksilver, who also apparently works as a security officer, tweeted about an alleged altercation he had with Big Show in Columbus, Ohio, the site of tonight's WWE RAW. The man posted the following tweets and just revealed that Big Show has blocked him on Twitter:

New Match Advertised Locally For WWE Fastlane

Local advertising in Memphis for the upcoming WWE Fast Lane PPV on 2/22 is listing Roman Reigns vs. Big Show in a Last Man Standing match. Previous local advertising was promoting a tag team match with John Cena and Roman Reigns vs. Big Show and Seth Rollins.

Opinionated View- Show of hands does anyone actually want to see the Big Show and Reigns feud? Because I sure as hell am sick of it already.

WWE Advertising Main Event For Fast Lane?

Users on Reddit are reporting that in the Memphis area there were ads running for WWE Fast Lane during the Memphis Grizzlies NBA game. The ads advertised a tag team main event match pitting John Cena and Roman Reigns against Big Show and Seth Rollins.

Obviously the card is subject to change at any time, and this is not confirmed by any stretch.

Opinionated View- Well Rollins in the main event that is a positive. Cena vs. Big Show in any form is going to suck. If WWE goes though with pushing Reigns as a top guy when he is clearly not ready him in the main events will be really ugly.

Injures From WWE TLC

The Big Show was banged up at the TLC PPV. He reportedly hurt his hip during the match against Erick Rowan. WWE.com is also reports Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper needed stiches after there mach. I don't know if you can trust that since also in that article it talked about the damage done to AJ's eyes.

Erick Rowan vs. Big Show in a stairs match has been added to the TLC pay-per-view lineup.

Opinionated View- A what? Look Rowan better go over but this being WWE I am sure Big Show will win and than move onto to feud with Cena again sometime post Mania.

Current Plans For WWE TLC

As previously reported, there were recent discussions about having a John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins three-way TLC match for WWE TLC. However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there is talk about pushing Orton’s first return appearance back until the actual PPV.
Also planned for the PPV is a gimmick match between Big Show and Erick Rowan. The specific gimmick isn’t yet known.

WWE Issues Apology Over Russia Flag Incident

WWE issued the following statement on Tuesday.

"We at WWE would like to apologize to the Russian people for the incident on Monday Night Raw that could have been construed as disrespect for their nation's flag."

Opinionated View- See back in the day when you did the Russia vs USA feuds things were a lot less PC. Also WWE wasn't so desperate they needed to pump up numbers with every over seas market they could find.

Update On Next Possible Challenger For Brock Lesnar

The Big Show could be Brock Lesnar's next opponent following his rematch against John Cena at Night of Champions. Lesnar already beat Big Show handily at the Royal Rumble, but WWE believes it doesn't have enough top Superstars who are believable as opponents for Lesnar.

Original Raw Plans

- One of the original plans for Raw called for Bray Wyatt to lay out Big Show with Sister Abigail to help add to the Big Show and Mark Henry vs. Wyatts feud. Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro was also scheduled for Raw early in the day. 

Opinionated View- No doubt the Wyatt stuff with Big Show stuff was taken out because it would make Wyatt the younger more talented wrestler look good and last thing WWE wants is for that to happen and no I'm not making a joke. WWE legit doesn't want Wyatt over why else would they book him like they do.

Match for Main Event and Tag Team Match for Smackdown

Rob Van Dam vs. Seth Rollins is scheduled to headline tomorrow night's 8/26 WWE Main Event on the WWE Network from Ontario, California.

Big Show and Mark Henry vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper is scheduled for this week's 8/29 WWE Smackdown on Syfy. This will be taped on Tuesday in Ontario, California.

Did Lawsuit Against Big Show Contribute to Alberto Del Rio's Firing?

As we've previously reported, there is a lawsuit currently pending against Big Show and WWE from former road producer Andrew Green. Green had claimed that Show attacked him without provocation while he was trying to arrange to have Show appear for an on-camera interview and that the assault--which was captured on tape--was posted online by the company.

According to the Wrestling Observer, this was a contributing factor in Alberto Del Rio's firing. The company felt that having a similar incident would hurt them in the ongoing lawsuit and in a potential suit by Social Media producer Cody Barbierri, who Del Rio attacked.

WWE News: Former champion returns in dark segment at the Smackdown taping

Big Show made an unadvertised appearance at Tuesday's WWE Smackdown taping in Orlando, Florida. Kane issued an open challenge after the taping concluded, and Show came out and beat him by count out in the dark main event
