Dolph Ziggler Reportedly Re-Signs With WWE

While there had been reports that, Dolph Ziggler was contemplating leaving WWE after his contract expires, Pwinsider.com reports that Ziggler and WWE came to terms on a new contract several weeks ago. The terms and length of the deal have not been reported at this time

Opinionated View- I say this is a mistake. It's clear WWE is never going to fully get behind him. And Dolph has been coasting in the ring lately.

Update on Dolph Ziggler’s WWE Contract Status

Here is the latest on Dolph Ziggler’s status with WWE. His contract is expiring in the next few months, and people close to him have stated that he is considering exploring his non-WWE options when his contract ends. Ziggler has talked with people outside of WWE about his potential if he leaves WWE. There is interest in him from both New Japan and Lucha Underground, and TNA would also likely be a player to sign him.
There is a feeling that if he could work a deal with ROH/New Japan like AJ Styles and the Young Bucks, and then work the major UK events and or big AAA shows that he could earn upwards of $300,000-$400,000 a year. He would also have less road expenses as transportation and hotels will be paid for. He would also work fewer dates, but would likely have to work harder due to the high expectations of the New Japan and US Independent fans combined with the fact that he would have less restrictions on his work

Opinionated View- Well Dolph needs to leave WWE. It's clear he's been beaten down by years of miss use and all the usual WWE BS. And I think he's stopped trying

Dolph Ziggler Posts Anti WWE Rant on Twitter

WWE star Dolph Ziggler appeared to post a lengthy rant on his official Twitter account tagging @WWE and #ExtremeRules. Ziggler hinted that he many only have five months left on his current deal and wrote the following you can view below.

 

Opinionated View- Dolph should be the poster child of WWE wasted potential. He's still basically in the same place he's always been. IC or US title picture he does get little crumbs of the main event and they blow it.

Scheduled for this week's 2/19 WWE Smackdown on Syfy in a rematch from Monday night is Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler. This match will be taped on Tuesday night in Fort Lauderdale.

Why Did WWE Change Daniel Bryan's WrestleMania 31 Opponent From Sheamus To Dolph Ziggler?

We noted before that Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan was the original plan for this year's WWE WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view but it was changed to Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler some time in the last few weeks. WWE officials are indeed going forward with Bryan vs. Ziggler and we should see that match develop on RAW this week. The change was made because Bryan went to WWE officials and requested a match against Ziggler for WrestleMania 31.

Ziggler vs. Bryan in Works For WrestleMania, Battle Royale Planned

The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE has apparently scrapped the plans to book another Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus match at WrestleMania 31. According to the report, current booking is planning on a match between Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler for the card.

Ziggler has recently taken to Twitter to campaign for a match with Bryan for the event. Bryan has responded and said, “I’m in.” WWE Creative is said to actually be planning the match.

– In addition, WWE reportedly is planning another battle royal match for the card this year. It is currently unknown if it will be labeled as the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal again or go under a different name. The plan is to apparently make the battle royal an annual event for WrestleMania.

Opinionated View- Bryan vs. Ziggler if given enough time could be an awesome match. The question is who turns heel. I don't think there is enough there to do face vs. face. Problem is a poorly done (or short term) heel turn could be damaging for either guy. The idea of a big battle royal at Mania is fine. The problem is they had this big chance with Cesaro and they blew it with him last year.

According to Pwinsider.com (via wrestlezone.com) “fired” WWE stars Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan are backstage at Raw. It has not been confirmed what their roles will be on tonight’s show, but all three men are expected to be in the 30 man Royal Rumble match on Sunday night

Big Backstage Update on Creative Plans for “Fired” WWE Stars Ryback, Dolph Ziggler & Erick Rowan

According to PWInsider.com, “fired” WWE stars Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan are all expected to be brought back to WWE TV in time for the Royal Rumble.
As of now, the three talents are not backstage at Raw tonight and will not be used on the show.
However, it is expected that something will happen with the three next week on Raw, potentially them “sitting in the crowd” for the show, or some type of invasion angle will take place, which will result in all three men being brought back to WWE.

The Big Show was banged up at the TLC PPV. He reportedly hurt his hip during the match against Erick Rowan. WWE.com is also reports Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper needed stiches after there mach. Who Will Bray Wyatt Feud With Next?

- Bray Wyatt's next feud could be against Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler will defend his Intercontinental title against The Miz at Night of Champions. It's possible that there could be something involving Wyatt after that, as he doesn't have a PPV match. Wyatt's cage match with Chris Jericho on RAW was considered to be the end of that feud.
