Why Did Taryn Terrell Turn Heel?

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the turning of Taryn Terrell heel was done in order to preserve plans for a feud between her and Awesome Kong. The site reports that when TNA did not expect Kong to be cheered when she came back and that she would work as a heel against Terrell.
When it was clear Kong was going to be a babyface to the fans, the decision was made to turn Taryn and align her with the Dollhouse. This also gives her a feud with Gail Kim, with the Dollhouse there to help keep her as a strong heel champion.

Opinionated View- I thought Taryn did very well with her heel turn promo. She had also been a face since joining TNA while Kong has almost always played heel. So I like them trying something different. Plus having Taryn give the Dollhouse someone to carry it a bit.

Several Talents Re-Sign With TNA

TNA Executive VP of Talent Relations John "Big" Gaburick posted the following on Twitter today, announcing the re-signing of Jeff Hardy, Kenny King, Gail Kim and Manik to the company:

Gail Kim Not Under Contract to TNA?

TNA Knockout Gail Kim is reportedly not signed to a new long-term deal with TNA. However, Kim has reportedly agreed to work for TNA on a per-appearance agreement, so Kim will likely still appear in TNA after the Destination America move.

Opinionated View- I wouldn't worry to much. Remember TNA was kind of stuck in a spot with out a TV deal. Gail is not going back to hell... I mean the WWE Divas Division. The hold up could be that Gail who is now 37 might want to take time off to be with her husband.

TNA Says Gail Kim Injured, Out of Action Indefinitely

- TNA announced on their official website that Gail Kim suffered a separated shoulder during her match with Havok on Wednesday’s episode of Impact Wrestling. Theannouncement noted she also tore a few ligaments and some cartilage and will be out indefinitely.

Kim commented on the news, saying, “In all my years of being in this business, I have never experienced the pure evil of someone like HAVOK. To be the target for the title, that I’m used to but to have someone try to put me out indefinitely and end my career…I have one message for HAVOK. I have overcome a lot in all these years. This will not be the end. Anyone who knows Gail Kim knows that I don’t back down from anyone. ANYONE. Now you have the target on your back. You know what they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall and I will be the one to bring you down”

Rumor Says TNA Knockout's Contract is Expiring Soon

The Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting that TNA Knockout Gail Kim’s contract is set to expire soon.

Opinionated View- Well it's the Observer so you can't trust much. But yeah Gail returned in November a couple of years ago so yeah I would think it would expire around that time as well. Given how unhappy Gail was during her last WWE run and how it's only gotten worse since she left I don't think we have to worry about a jump to WWE. Hell given how stupid WWE is  I bet they wouldn't even try. Now could I see Gail retiring to spend more time with her husband or trying to start a family (all of which I am just speculating not based on any report/interviews.) yeah that's not unusual. 

Also lets see how the TNA budget it. Could they view Gail like they did AJ where great talent but worked with everyone how much more can we do and do we want to give her _______ when _______ could be used to sign several talents.

Knockouts Title Match Added to Impact Wrestling Tapings in New York

- TNA has announced a new match for the Knockouts Championship with Velvet Sky vs. Angelina Love vs. Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim at the upcoming Impact Wrestling tapings in New York. The matches previously announced include Samoa joe vs. Low Ki and the Hardys vs. Team 3D vs. The Wolves for the tag team titles.

Impact Wrestling Results: Destination X Fallout, Hardy vs Styles

Impact opens up with highlights from last week’s Destination X event and then we cut to the ring where the Main Event Mafia walk come down to kick off the show tonight. Everyone but Samoa Joe and Rampage are wearing suits. Joe is dressed for combat while Rampage is just wearing plain street clothes like he always does. Sting says that last week MEM had an incredible night and calls it one of his best nights ever in wrestling because they got to see Chris Sabin beat Bully Ray for the World Title. Sting says that MEM won the first battle in the war against Aces & Eights.

Kurt Angle says the pain that A&8 have caused over the past year is going to come back 10 fold and it’s only a matter of time, but tonight they’re here for a celebration not a fight. Angle says that MEM was reformed to take care of A&8 and to make sure that Bully Ray lost the World Title which was accomplished last week. Angle says the man that accomplished that is an amazing wrestler and then he introduces the NEW World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Sabin!

Sabin comes out with the World Title draped across his shoulder for the first time. Angle hugs Sabin as he climbs into the ring. Sabin thanks MEM for having his back and he says that if it wasn’t for them he may have not been able to win the belt. Sabin says he almost can’t believe he’s standing here as the World Champion and it feels like a dream. Sabin says this is reality and the reality of the situation is now he’s walking around with a giant target on his back. Sabin looks at Joe and Magnus and says that he knows that’s what they want, but he made history last week winning the World Title and he’s all about making history. Sabin says next week he’ll make history again because as his first “decree” as World Champion is he challenges the winner of the Ultimate X tonight to a match next week in a Champion vs. Champion match!

A&8s music interrupts Sabin and former champion Bully Ray walks out onto the stage with a man in a suit. Ray asks if we know who the man with him is and he says that it’s his attorney. The attorney says he’s been retained as legal counsel for Bully Ray and because of the huge injustice that he suffered they have been forced to file a lawsuit against TNA. He says that Sabin can solve this problem by handing the World Title back over to the “true champion” Bully Ray. He says that if he doesn’t the ramifications will go through the wrestling industry and he will crush TNA. The lawyer says not to make him rock their world and he will fight and win for his client. The lawyer says the sound everyone is hearing is the sound of the clock ticking and Sabin has until the end of the night to turn the belt back over.

JB & Tenay run down the card for tonight featuring the Ultimate X and a huge BFG Series Match pitting AJ Styles against Jeff Hardy.

In the back Hogan is on the phone with someone and tells the camera guy he doesn’t comment on pending litigation.

A vignette hyping up Manik is shown with him actually speaking without the mask. He talks about being homeless while trying to make it as a wrestler and getting robbed at gunpoint in Mexico. He talks about living in Japan in the same dorms that legends like Eddie Guerrero stayed in and getting beat with kendo sticks while training there. He says that Manik is an alter ego for him and offers him a symbol and something to live by.

Manik vs. Greg Marasciulo vs. “The Playa of the Himalayas” Sonjay Dutt

Neither one of these men have ever held the X-Division Championship (technically the Manik/Suicide character has won it multiple times but not with TJ Perkins under the mask) so we will have a first time champion crowned after this one. Manik and Dutt have both competed in Ultimate X Matches in the past while this is Marasciulo’s debut in the UX. The new fairly ugly X-Division Championship is shown hanging from the cables as the wrestlers make their entrances. The new X-Division Title looks a lot like the NXT Title. As the bell rings Greg attacks Sonjay and shoves Manik to the side. Greg tosses Sonjay out to the floor and then charges at Manik but gets backdropped over the top to the ramp for his troubles. Manik then hits a Springboard Plancha off the top onto Greg on the ramp! Sonjay climbs up top but Manik pulls him down and destroys him with a European Uppercut. Manik then attempts to whip Sonjay into the ropes but Sonjay reverses it and Manik does his Spiderman impression hanging between the ropes. Sonjay charges him but Manik drops down and Sonjay goes flying through the ropes to the floor. Manik looks to setup for a dive but Sonjay trips him from the outside and drags him to the floor. Sonjay quickly slides back into the ring and then flies through the ropes with a dropkick to Manik on the floor. Sonjay then climbs a small ways up one of the corner scaffolds and hits a Moonsault on Manik on the floor! Greg then clotheslines Sonjay before tossing Manik into the side of the ramp. Greg drags Manik onto the ramp and Scoop Slams him onto it! Sonjay starts climbing up one of the scaffolds but Greg pulls him down and connects with a Forearm Smash. Sonjay trips Greg and then hits the ropes and rolls over Greg as Greg dropped down to try and trip him. Sonjay hits the ropes again and Greg leapfrogs him. Greg then rolls backwards to attempt a Monkey Flip but Sonjay somersaults over him and then ducks a clothesline attempt. Sonjay connects with a Hurricanrana and then climbs up to the cables until Greg hits him from behind. Greg then attempts a clothesline but Sonjay ducks and shoves him into the turnbuckles. Sonjay sets up for a suplex but Manik comes running in with a clothesline attempt. Sonjay ducks the clothesline and hooks Manik as well hitting a DDT on Greg and a Flatliner on Manik at the same time! Sonjay climbs up to the top and sees Manik coming at him so he dives off the top avoiding Manik. Sonjay then charges at Manik but Manik uses the corner ropes to lift himself up and over Sonjay and then he connects with a Leaping Neckbreaker! Manik grabs Greg on the apron and attempts a shoulder block through the ropes but Greg sidesteps it and hits a Guillotine Leg Drop Jerry Lynn style on the apron! Greg climbs up top and grabs the cables but Manik pulls him down. Greg whips Manik into the corner and connects with a Running Forearm. He whips Sonjay towards Manik but Manik moves and Sonjay hits the turnbuckles. Greg then charges at them both but eats a mouth full of Manik’s boot. Manik then charges at Greg but Greg kicks him in the gut. He sets up for a Powerbomb but Manik blocks it and then grabs Greg in a wristlock and quickly springs to the top dives into a Springboard Headscissors on Sonjay while also armdragging Greg at the same time lucha style! Greg rolls out to the floor and Manik drop toe holds Sonjay into the ropes. Manik then springs into the corner and over the ropes into a Double Dropkick kicking Sonjay in the ring and Greg on the floor at the same time!

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Back from the break Greg hits Manik with that crazy Cradle Back to Belly Piledriver on the ramp! A “this is awesome” chant breaks out. Greg sells a knee injury as he hit the move and then he limps towards the corner and climbs to the top. Greg begins scaling the cables but Sonjay Dutt comes back in and pulls Greg down and as he hits the mat Greg sells the knee again. Sonjay and Greg begin exchanging forearms and chops and then Sonjay whips Greg into the corner and comes flying in with a NASTY Running Mafia Kick! Sonjay then goes to the opposite corner but Greg is right behind with a Flying Knee! Greg then hits the ropes but runs right into a damn Superkick that I think legit knocked a tooth out of Greg’s head! Either that was a MASSIVE glob of spit that went flying or Greg is going to need some dental work done tomorrow! Both men collapse in the ring as Manik is still laid out on the ramp. Earl Hebner walks out and checks on Manik as Sonjay rolls out to the floor and begins scaling one side of the scaffold. Greg scales the other side. Greg kicks at Sonjay’s leg repeatedly and then he climbs up on top of the scaffold! Greg begins climbing towards the center of the X but Sonjay climbs up with him and they begin slapping the hell out of each other! Greg kicks Sonjay and then climbs to the center of the X as Sonjay is in pursuit. Greg punches Sonjay and then teases a damn Superplex off the scaffold! Sonjay blocks it and headbutts Greg and nails him with a series of forearms! Greg slips through the holes in the structure as Manik is now scaling the cables! Greg holds onto the scaffold as Manik hangs from his legs from the cables! Greg stomps on Manik’s hands every time he tries to grab the belt! Greg pulls Sonjay through a hole in the scaffold and as he’s hanging upside down kicks him in the head! Greg finally comes fully down onto the cables and hangs upside down and begins fighting with Manik over the belt. Manik grabs both of Greg’s arms and pulls them off causing Greg to go crashing back first down to the mat! Manik pulls down the belt and falls to the mat winning the X-Division Championship!

Bully Ray talks with Mr. Anderson in the back about making Hogan squirm over the proposed lawsuit. Bully says he’s proud of Anderson being the VP and says that if he had voted he would have voted for Anderson too. He says the VP is very important but what is even more important is the BFG Series and Anderson winning that tournament. Bully tells Anderson to go out and do what he does best, get the job done.

BFG Series Match 
“Super Mex” Hernandez (7 points) vs. Mr. Anderson (7 points)

Both of these men have 7 points in the BFG Series so a win here would move either man into a tie for 4th Place. Hernandez and Anderson lockup and Anderson gets Mex in a side headlock. Hernandez shoves Anderson into the ropes and Anderson bounces back with a shoulder block attempt but Hernandez doesn’t budge. Hernandez dares him to do it again but Anderson decks him instead. Anderson then hits the ropes but eats a double sledge from Hernandez. Hernandez attempts to whip Anderson into the ropes but Anderson reverses it and attempts a clothesline. Hernandez ducks the clothesline and hits a big Shoulder Block. Anderson rolls out to the apron and Hernandez grabs him but eats a shoulder block through the ropes. Anderson then attempts to Suplex Hernandez out to the floor but Hernandez reverses it and Suplexes Anderson back into the ring for a nearfall. Hernandez picks Anderson up but Anderson pokes him in the eyes and shoves him into the corner. Anderson hits a Corner Splash and then goes to pick Hernandez up but Hernandez kicks him away and then flips backward up to the top rope. Anderson crotches Hernandez on the top and tosses him off for a nearfall. Anderson hits a series of crossfaces and then locks in a Keylock submission. Hernandez fights up to his feet but Anderson brings an elbow down across the back of Super Mex. Anderson whips Hernandez into the ropes and connects with a back elbow for another nearfall. Anderson attempts to whip Hernandez into the corner but Hernandez reverses it and then goes for a splash, but Anderson backdrops him over the top and to the apron. Anderson punches Mex and then hits the ropes but runs right into a Slingshot Shoulder Block from Hernandez! Hernandez follows up with a series of clotheslines and double sledges that sends Anderson retreating to the corner. Hernandez hits a Splash and then lifts Anderson up to his shoulder for a Backbreaker! 1…2…NO Anderson kicks out! Hernandez picks Anderson up but Anderson shoves him away and hits a big right hand. Anderson goes for the Green Bay Plunge but Hernandez blocks it only to eat an elbow. Anderson then hits the ropes but runs right into the Get Off Me! Hernandez runs down to the opposite end of the ramp and goes flying over the ropes with the Air Mexico, but Anderson drops down and Mex crash lands. Anderson then hits the Mic Check for the pin!

Eric Young approaches Joseph Park in the back and shows Park some porn on his iPad and then shows footage of his match with Jeff Hardy where he got disqualified. Park says he has no “recollection” of what happened and then EY says he’s worried about Park and he’s “pretty much a scientist now” so he’s going to get to the bottom of this for Park.

Velvet Sky comes down to the ring and says that she wanted to come out and admit to everyone that she made a mistake. She says that mistake wasn’t wrestling with an injury but letting Mickie know that she was injured. She says that it’s her own fault for trusting Mickie and then Mickie took advantage of it to get what she wanted. Velvet says she’ll never make a mistake like that again and moving forward she’s playing things closer to the vest than ever before. Velvet says she’ll sit ringside as she watches Gail & Mickie tear into each other.

“Hardcore Country” Mickie James (c) vs. Gail Kim

Mickie shows the title to Velvet and smiles at her at ringside. Mickie & Gail lockup and Gail catches Mickie with an armdrag but Mickie holds onto the collar & elbow tieup. Both girls get to their feet and this time Mickie connects with an armdrag but Gail holds onto the tieup as well. Mickie grabs Gail’s hari and Gail responds in kind but ODB pulls them apart and tells them to cut it out. They lockup again and this time Mickie forces Gail into the corner and kicks her in the gut and then connects with a shoulder block. ODB separates them again and then Gail hits a Forearm Smash. Gail shoves Mickie back into the corner and connects with a series of kicks and forearms until ODB pulls her away. Mickie slaps Gail and then puts her in a Hammerlock but Gail nails her with an elbow and then a leg kick. Gail gets Mickie in a wristlock but Mickie cartwheels into a reversal until Gail slams her to the mat by her hair for a nearfall. Gail gets another nearfall and then puts Mickie in a side headlock. Mickie breaks the hold with elbows until Gail kicks her. Gail then whips Mickie into the ropes and goes for a backdrop but Mickie slams her to the mat by her hair and then connects with a Sliding Dropkick for a nearfall. Gail puts Mickie in a side headlock but Mickie rolls backwards to break the hold and then puts Gail in a side headlock. Gail shoves Mickie into the ropes but then eats a shoulderblock from the champ. Mickie hits the ropes and then cartwheels over Gail as Gail dropped down in front of Mickie to try and trip her up. Mickie goes for a dropkick but Gail sidesteps her and connects with one of her own. Gail follows up with a clothesline for another nearfall. Gail then rolls Mickie up and holds onto the ropes for extra leverage but ODB catches her. ODB gets in Gail’s face and then Gail swings at Mickie but Mickie blocks it and hits a series of forearms. Mickie whips Gail into the corner and charges at her but Gail sidesteps her and hits a Running Back Elbow and then a Running Body Splash! Gail grabs Mickie by the hair from the apron but Mickie slaps her hands away and connects with the Mick Kick sending Gail crashing to the floor! Gail almost get counted out but Gail climbs back on the apron right before the 10 and Mickie grabs her. Gail catches Mickie with a jawbreaker onto the top rope and then pulls her to the corner and attempts the Hanging Figure Four around the post but Mickie kicks her away! Mickie then dives off the apron with a Seated Senton! Mickie rolls Gail back into the ring and connects with a Hangwomans Neckbreaker! 1…2…NO Gail kick out! Mickie covers Gail again but again only gets a two count. Mickie goes for the Mick-DT but Gail counters into an attempt at the Eat Defeat. Mickie blocks it catches Gail with a Flapjack! Mickie taunts Gail and then climbs to the top and dives off, but Gail sidesteps her and then catches Mickie with a Spinning Headscissors into a Hanging Octopus! Mickie grabs the ropes and Gail tries to transition into a rollup but Mickie holds onto the ropes and then hooks Gail’s legs and locks her in a Death Lock. Gail grabs the ropes and then kicks Mickie in the head as she releases the hold. Gail shoves Mickie into the corner and comes flying towards her with a Flying Clothesline attempt but Mickie catches her in midair with her boots. Mickie then goes for the Mickiecanrana but Gail blocks it and counters into a huge Powerbomb! Gail puts her feet on the ropes for added leverage, 1…2…NO ODB looks up and sees Gail using the ropes. Gail gets in ODB’s face and Mickie nails Gail with a series of uppercuts. Mickie then attempts to toss Gail out to the floor but Gail reverses it and Mickie goes flying to the floor. Gail gets in ODB’s face and ODB shoves her. Gail slaps ODB and Mickie slides in and rolls Mickie up! 1…2…3!

Gail gets pissed and starts screaming at ODB after the match. ODB stops Gail from leaving the ring and gets in her face! Brooke Hogan walks out and says she can’t believe Gail is yet again hitting referees and says she thought Gail learned her lesson last time. Brooke says she’s here to remind Gail that ODB is also an active wrestler and ODB then dares Gail to come at her again as the fans chant “ODB.”

Hogan and Dixie discuss the situation with Bully Ray and says the situation isn’t fair to Sabin. Dixie says no one understands it more than her because she is the one that sat beside Sabin after he blew out his knee a second time and saw the look on his face. Dixie says she doesn’t want this to happen either but sometimes you have to make tough decisions. Hogan says he knows there is procedures and politics and asks if she wants to “tell him” or should he.

“Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe (26 points) vs. “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels (14 points)

Kaz doesn’t come down with Daniels and Joe comes out alone as well. Tenay mentions the long history between Joe & Daniels and says that Daniels has never beaten Joe in one-on-one matches. Joe and Daniels circle each other and Joe catches Daniels with a leg kick. A “Joe’s gonna kill you” chant starts and then they lockup and Joe starts facewashing Daniels with his forearm which pisses Daniels off. They lockup again and Daniels does the same to Joe but Joe catches him with an armdrag and then connects with a series of jabs. Daniels cuts Joe off with a kick to the gut and then hits the ropes but runs into a Back Elbow from Joe. Daniels retreats to the corner and Joe destroys him with repeated jabs. Joe then whips Daniels into the opposite corner and nails him with a Running Back Elbow followed by the Leaping Enziguri! Joe facewashes Daniels in the corner with his boot and then connects with the Ole Kick! Joe hits a front kick on Daniels and then charges at him but Daniels sidesteps him and drop toeholds Joe into the ropes and follows up with a Running Clothesline! Daniels puts the boots to Joe and then chokes him with his knee. Daniels picks Joe up but Joe shoves him away and begins chopping away at Daniels. Daniels comes back with a cross chop and then chokes Joe with his boot in the corner. Daniels then hangs Joe across the top rope and hooks his legs around Joe’s head in a Headscissors while he hangs across the ropes with the rest of his body. Daniels then hits a Slingshot Elbow Drop over the ropes across the back of Joe for a nearfall as he uses the ropes for leverage. Daniels hits a Forearm Smash followed by a series of chops. Daniels hits a Snapmare Takeover and then puts Joe in a Cobra Clutch! Joe breaks the hold with elbows to the gut and then he nails Daniels with a Belly-to-Belly Overhead Suplex! Joe hits a series of clotheslines and then an Atomic Drop followed by a Mafia Kick and then the Backsplash Senton for a nearfall. Joe picks Daniels up but Daniels slaps him and then hits the ropes only to run right into a Snap Powerslam from Joe! 1…2…NO Daniels kicks out! Joe picks Daniels up and Daniels hits a series of palm thrusts but they have no effect on Joe and then he swings a few times, but Joe ducks the shots and then connects with an open hand across the face! 1…2…NO Daniels kicks out! Daniels retreats to the corner and Joe charges at him but Daniels sidesteps and then connects with a huge Uppercut! Daniels charges at Joe but runs right into a massive Uranage Suplex as Joe screams “sit your ass down!” Joe lifts Daniels up to the top rope and goes for the Muscle Buster, but Daniels blocks it and then Mr. Anderson runs out. Sting says the goal is still the same, take Bully Ray & the rest of Aces out.

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles (12 points) vs. “Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy (17 points)

These two have faced off many times in the past having first faced off way back in 2004 at TNA’s 2nd anniversary. Jeff could jump into the #3 or #2 spot with a win here while AJ could jump into the top 4 with a win. AJ and Hardy lockup with AJ getting the advantage with a side headlock. Hardy shoves AJ into the ropes and attempts a clothesline but AJ slides through his legs and puts Hardy into a headlock again. Hardy tries to break the hold but AJ squeezes down on Hardy’s neck. Hardy finally shoves AJ into the ropes and they run into each other. AJ then hits the ropes again but this time Hardy catches him with a big Back Elbow! Hardy slams AJ into the top turnbuckle and then puts the boots to him. Jeff whips AJ into the opposite corner and charges but AJ floats up and over him and then goes for a Back Suplex. Hardy lands on his feet and then catches AJ with a Leaping Mule Kick that sends AJ crashing into the turnbuckles. Hardy follows up with the Hardyac Arrest in the corner.

Back from the break AJ connects with a dropkick flying through the ropes sending Hardy crashing into the announce table! AJ tosses Hardy back into the ring and then he hits a Snapmare Takeover and kicks Hardy in the back. AJ puts Hardy in a chinlock but Hardy fights up to his feet and breaks the hold with elbows. Hardy hits the ropes and charges at AJ but AJ sidesteps him and sends Hardy flying through the ropes to the floor! AJ grabs Hardy by the hair and pulls him up to the apron but Hardy catches him with a jawbreaker. Hardy then charges at AJ but eats a nasty Spinebuster from AJ! AJ puts Hardy in a chinlock again but Hardy fights up to his feet and breaks the hold. Hardy swings at AJ but AJ blocks it and then kicks Hardy and attempts to Springboard out of the corner with a Tornado DDT but Hardy blocks it. Hardy then ducks a clothesline and hits the Alley Oop! AJ & Aries are about the only Main Event guys that Hardy gets to actually use that move with. Both men are down now. Hardy connects with a series of forearms and then attempts to whip AJ into the ropes but AJ reverses it only to eat a Flying Forearm from Hardy! Hardy hits an Atomic Drop and then sweeps AJ’s legs and hits a Leg Drop to the nuts followed by a Basement Dropkick! Hardy hits the ropes and AJ leapfrogs him and then he drops down in front of Hardy and Hardy leaps over him but bounces off the ropes right into a Phenomenal Dropkick! AJ waits for Hardy to get back to his feet and then he goes for a Flying Clothesline but Hardy moves and hits a Front Slam. Hardy then climbs up top and dives off with a Splash! 1…2…NO AJ kicks out! Hardy tries to whip AJ into the corner but AJ holds onto the ropes and then Suplexes Hardy into the turnbuckles! AJ whips Hardy into the corner and then charges but runs right into an elbow from Hardy! Hardy springs to the top and dives off with the Whisper In The Wind! 1…2…NO AJ kicks out and Hardy can’t believe it! Hardy seems to be favoring his leg or hip. Hardy goes for the Twist but AJ blocks it and counters into the Pele! The fans are going nuts right now. AJ catches Hardy with the Calf Killa! Hardy tries to reach the ropes but AJ starts really wrenching back on that leg and Hardy taps! Jeff Hardy taps!

Winner: AJ via submission (Calf Killa)

A pretty loud “you tapped out” chant erupts at Hardy but Hardy ignores it and offers a handshake to AJ, but AJ just looks at Hardy and walks away.

In the back Hogan says he doesn’t want to do what he’s about to do but it has to be done.

Bully Ray comes down to the ring and he says he’s been wronged and has suffered a major injustice. He says that he’s highly offended that everyone in the wrestling world can sit back and praise Sabin for what he did to Bully. Bully says that the man hit Bully in the head with a hammer and asks what kind of man or athlete would ever sink to such a low to hit another man in the head with a hammer to win a match. Bully says that Sabin has no choice but to return the belt and he says he will sue everyone in the company and do whatever it takes to right this wrong. Bully tells Sabin to come out right now and hand the belt back over.

Chris Sabin comes down to the ring and Bully says he won’t say anything negative towards Sabin because he’s obviously come out to do the right thing. Bully says it’s obvious that Sabin is highly intimidated by him so it’s time to hand over his World Title.

Sabin says the real reason he came out is because he wanted to see with his own eyes what a “big fat crybaby” Bully has become. Sabin says he almost had his career taken away from him but he didn’t sit at home and whine and complain like Bully. He says it drove him to become 10 times greater than he ever had and now he’s the World Champion. Sabin says Bully must have been hit in the head one too many times if he thinks Sabin is really about to give the title up. Sabin says Bully will have to pry it away from his cold dead hands.

Bully says he’ll get the belt back by suing him and then he points to a bandage on his forehead and tells Sabin to look at what he did to him. Bully asks Sabin how he can call himself a man after hitting him with a hammer. Bully demands Hulk Hogan come out and return his belt to him.

Hogan comes out onto the ramp with a piece of paper. Hogan says he’s been back and forth with his lawyers reading the contract inside and out, and he does have a counter for Bully. Hogan says it comes with no negotiation and rips up the paper as Bully screams he can’t do that. Hogan says he can do that because he’s the GM and Chris Sabin is and will remain the World Champion! Hogan says fair is fair and per Bully’s contract he does have a rematch clause. Hogan says he understands Bully doesn’t want any outside interference from MEM so Ray will get his rematch on August 15th from Norfolk, VA and on that day there will be justice…HARDCORE JUSTICE! Hogan says Aces & Eights nor Main Event Mafia will be involved and Ray will get his shot at the World Title. Hogan says at Hardcore Justice the TNA Title will be defended inside a Steel Cage!

Impact Wrestling Reprot: Rampage Joins the Main Event Mafia but Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell Steal the Show

Impact from Vegas week #2 opens up with highlights from last week and then we cut to the backstage area where Bully Ray bitches about his wife Brooke getting engaged. He says he understands people feel the need to move on but she moves on when he SAYS she can.

In the arena Taz & Tenay hype up the Ladder Match and the BFG Series Jokers Wild Tournament.

Bully Ray comes out to the ring with his army close behind. He says that it’s time to take care of business and the first order of business tonight is Chris Sabin. He says Sabin has the opportunity to cash in his X-Division Title for a shot at the World Title next week at Destination X and later on Hogan is going to come out and ask Sabin to cash in the X-Division Title. Ray says when Hogan asks him that question he better do himself a favor and not trade that title in because Sabin doesn’t want any part of Bully Ray. Bully says he is a bad man that does bad things to “little people” like Sabin. Bully says tonight Aces & Eights are going to vote in a new Vice President and this will be “family business.”

Ray says speaking of families that brings him to the Main Event Mafia. Ray says MEM wants a fight next week but Aces & Eights “positively, absolutely, beyond a doubt…say NO” to that fight. He says they fight on their terms but before he can say anything else the Main Event Mafia’s music interrupts him.

Sting, Angle, Joe, & Magnus walk out with Joe & Magnus dressed for action. Angle says that challenge last week should be considered more of a warning than anything. He says they didn’t pick next week by accident because he’s defending the World Title that night. Angle says MEM will kill two birds with one stone because they are going to eliminate every member of Aces & Eights one by one and then at the end of the night Bully Ray will be all alone in his title match for the first time since he won the belt.

Sting says the newest member of MEM is a “heavy hitter” and before the end of the night Bully will find out just who that person is.

At the top o the stage Jeramy Borash and the beautiful Christy Hemme stand at one of those lottery spinners. JB explains the rules for the Jokers Wild where two names will be randomly drawn to form a tag team. The winners of each of the Tag Team Matches tonight then face off in a Gauntlet Battle Royal where the winner earns 25 points. The first name pulled out is Jeff Hardy! Hardy comes out and then his partner is drawn as Joseph Park! Their opponents will be AJ Styles & Samoa Joe!

BFG Series Jokers Wild Tournament 
“Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy & Joseph Park vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles & “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe

Joe & AJ definitely have a ton of history which will make that team very interesting and they also fought to a draw in both men’s first BFG Series match this year. AJ and Park will start the match off and as Park goes for a lockup AJ sidesteps him and then he sidesteps another attempt at a lockup. AJ then kicks Park and attempts to whip him into the ropes, but Park reverses it and then AJ slides through his legs and kicks Park in the knee. Park tags Hardy into the match and AJ locks up with Hardy in the center of the ring. AJ gets Hardy in a side headlock but Hardy shoves him into the ropes and Hip Tosses AJ. Hardy follows up with an armdrag and then a Sitout Front Suplex! 1…2…NO AJ kicks out! Hardy is selling his hip already. AJ grabs Hardy and shoves him into the corner and Joe tags himself in. Joe destroys Hardy in the corner with jabs and kicks. Joe then headbutts Hardy and whips him into the ropes. Joe goes for a backdrop but Hardy kicks him and then bounces off the ropes again but Joe explodes with a Running Back Elbow! 1…2…NO Hardy kicks out! Joe tosses Hardy into the corner and connects with a Running Elbow followed by the Leaping Enziguri! Joe drags Hardy over to AJ and tags him back into the match. Joe holds Hardy’s leg while AJ kicks it. AJ then hits a Snapmare Takeover and kicks Hardy in the back. Hardy fights back with rights and lefts but AJ catches him with a quick leg kick and then suddenly rolls Hardy up with the Calf Killa! Park runs in and hesitates not knowing what to do but finally settles on hitting AJ with an axe handle to break the hold. AJ goes nuts and tries to get after Park but the referee gets between them. Hardy then hits AJ with a Leaping Mule Kick as he turns around! Hardy tags Park in and Joe tags in as well! Joe charges at Park but Park ducks him and then hits a series of shoulder blocks but then AJ comes back in lights him up with chops and kicks. AJ hits the ropes but Park catches him with a backdrop! Park then hits a Splash on Joe in the corner! Park grabs Joe but Joe shoves him away and AJ comes flying in out of nowhere with the Springboard Flying Forearm! Joe then locks Park in the Coquina Clutch! Park taps out!

Jay Bradley & “Super Mex” Hernandez vs. Mr. Anderson & Magnus

The Anderson/Magnus team definitely gives an interesting dynamic as MEM and A&8 members have to work together in this match. This match is pretty important for Magnus because he wins the Battle Royal later that would give him almost 50 points and a lead that would pretty much guarantee him a spot in the Final Four. Anderson and Mex will start this one off. Before he locks up with Hernandez, Anderson turns around and tags Magnus into the match. Hernandez tags in Bradley as well. Magnus and Bradley lockup and Magnus shoves Bradley into the ropes only to get run over by Jay. Bradley then hits the ropes and runs into a High Knee from the Brit for a nearfall. Bradley comes back with a knee to the gut and then tags in Hernandez. Magnus catches Hernandez with a drop toehold as he comes into the ring and then puts him in a wristlock. Magnus offers a tag but Anderson fakes an ankle injury and bails out to the floor. Bradley then takes Magnus out from behind and whips him into the corner. Hernandez hits a Splash and covers Magnus for a nearfall. Hernandez holds Magnus and tags Bradley in as Bradley hits Magnus in the gut. Bradley beats Magnus down on the mat and then picks Magnus up but Magnus comes back with right hands. Hernandez blind tags himself back in as Bradley shoves Magnus into the ropes. Bradley drops down and when Magnus leaps over him Hernandez flings himself into the ring with a Slingshot Shoulder Block onto Magnus! 1…2…NO Magnus kicks out! Hernandez chokes Magnus in the ropes and then tags Bradley in. Bradley beats on Magnus in the corner and then whips him into the opposite corner. Bradley charges at him but Magnus gets his boot up and then his elbow, and follows up with a Running Front Kick! Magnus goes for another tag and again Anderson drops down to the floor to avoid it. Hernandez tags in and charges at Magnus, but Magnus moves out of the way and then hits a clothesline! Magnus hits another clothesline and then whips Hernandez into the ropes and goes for a backdrop, but Hernandez stops and kicks him! Hernandez hits the ropes but Magnus is right behind him only to get hit from behind by Bradley. Magnus knocks Bradley off the apron but Hernandez hits him from behind. Hernandez then attempts to whip Magnus into the ropes but Magnus reverses it and as Hernandez hits the ropes Bradley reaches up and grabs his boot thinking that it was Magnus. Hernandez argues with Bradley and then turns around right into a rollup from Magnus! 1…2…3!

In the back Austin Aries bitches to Bobby Roode about the “conspiracy” Hulk Hogan used on him to make him lose the X-Division Title last week. Aries suggests that if Roode helped him last week it might not have happened but Roode says he has his own problems because he’s 0-3 in the BFG Series so far. Roode says tonight is the Gauntlet Match and he needs those points, but then Bad Influence walk in and interrupt them. Bad Influence reminds them that they’re the only 4 men left in the Jokers Wild Tournament so the odds are in their favor that the two teams will stay together for the match. Daniels says it will be the Bad Influence vs. The Dirty Heels one more time. As they leave Aries makes fun of the way they talk and Roode says one thing he and Aries can agree on is how much they hate Bad Influence.

Dixie Carter just announced via Twitter the first three X-Division wrestlers for next week’s Destination X are Chavo Guerrero Jr., Manik (apparently the way I was spelling it (Manic) last week was incorrect), and Kenny King.

Daniels was pissed at the announcement that Aries would be his partner rather than Kazarian and as they came to the ring he told Aries to follow his lead. Daniels and Kazarian will start the match against each other but instead of lockup they shake hands which pisses Aries off and causes him to blind tag himself in. Aries locks up with Kazarian and Kaz gets Aries in a waistlock and then transitions into a leg sweep before floating over into a headlock. Aries counters into a wristlock but Kaz grabs the top rope and uses it to flip over and counter the hold into a wristlock of his own. Kaz transitions into a headlock but Aries shoves him into the ropes only to eat a shoulder block. Kaz hits the ropes again and Aries leapfrogs him and then catches him with an armdrag! Aries locks Kaz in an armbar but Kaz reaches his legs up and gets Aries in a headscissors. Aries does a headstand to escape and then a Basement Dropkick for a nearfall. Daniels blind tags himself into the match and then asks Kaz if he is okay and tells Kaz to tag Roode in. Roode comes in and Daniels gets him in a side headlock, but Roode shoves him into the ropes and drops down. Daniels then cartwheels over Roode hits him with a jab. Daniels bounces off the ropes but Roode nails him with a back elbow and then a Scoop Slam followed by a Knee Drop for a nearfall. Roode picks Daniels up but Daniels knees him in the gut and quickly tags Aries into the match. Aries and Roode stare each other down and then lockup with Roode getting Aries in a waistlock. Aries reverses it but Roode counters into a headlock. The fans chant for both men as Aries shoves Roode into the ropes. Roode holds onto the ropes instead of bouncing off and then Aries charges at him, but Roode backdrops Aries over the top. Aries lands on the apron and knocks Kaz off and then hits Roode with a shoulder block through the ropes. Aries sets up for a slingshot move but Kaz grabs his leg and pulls him down and slams him into the apron.

Back from the break Kaz has Aries in a Straightjacket hold on the mat. Aries is able to fight back up to his feet and break the hold with elbows. Daniels and Roode exchange strikes in the ring with Roode getting the best of it. Roode whips Daniels into the ropes and goes for a backdrop but Daniels kicks him and then hits the ropes again only to get caught with the Double-R Spinebuster! 1…2…NO Daniels kicks out! Roode goes for the Payoff but Daniels blocks it and hits a Uranage Suplex! Daniels then sets up for the BME but Aries blind tags himself and climbs up top. Aries hits a Missile Dropkick on Roode that sends him into the corner where Kaz tags himself in. Aries goes for the IED but Roode moves out of the way and then Kaz hits the Slingshot Spike DDT! 1…2…NO Daniels breaks it up! Daniels knocks Roode off the apron and then he and Kaz start arguing. Kaz didn’t like that at all. Aries pokes Kaz in the eye and then hits the IED! Aries sets up for the Brainbuster but Daniels blind tags himself into the match and Kaz rolls him up out of nowhere with an inside cradle! 1…2…3!

Daniels & Kazarian argue over what just happened but then Daniels raises Kazarian’s arm as they make up.

Backstage Hulk Hogan talks to Brooke about Bully. Brooke says she just wants to focus on the Knockouts match and Hulk says he just wants to the truth, and she says her personal life can start when the show ends. Hulk tells her to take care of all of her business.

Aces & Eights regroup backstage for the VP voting. Bully says there has been a problem inside of the club lately and they got rid of one problem in D-Lo but now they need a new VP. Both DOC & Anderson think they are the man for the job and he is going to leave this decision up to the rest of the club and he isn’t voting. Anderson votes for himself and DOC votes for himself as well. Wes picks Anderson, Devon picks DOC, Garett picks Anderson, Taz picks DOC, and Knux breaks the tie as he picks Anderson. DOC can’t believe that Knux went against him and Bully officially makes Anderson the VP. DOC gets in Knux’s face but Knux says it isn’t about DOC it’s about the club. DOC was still pissed.

Mickie James comes out before the Knockouts Ladder Match and will sit ringside for this match. She hilariously slaps a little kid’s hand away as she wants to get a high 5.

Knockouts #1 Contenders Ladder Match
Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim

This is a rematch from the insanely brutal (and awesome) Last Knockout Standing Match they had at Slammiversary. The winner earns a shot at Mickie James and the Knockouts Title. As Terrell gets in the ring Gail attacks her. She hits a series of knees and forearms before choking Terrell in the corner. The fans chant for ODB as Gail whips Terrell into the ropes. Gail goes for a clothesline but Terrell ducks and hits one of her own. Terrell then hits a Snap Suplex and tosses Gail out to the ramp. Terrell Spears Gail through the ropes and onto the ramp! Terrell sets up for that same Diamond Cutter she hit off the ramp at Slammiversary but Gail blocks it this time and slams Terrell onto the ramp face first. Gail grabs the ladder and tosses it in the ring. Gail tries to set the ladder up but Terrell grabs it and slams Gail into the corner with it. Gail is trapped between the ladder and the turnbuckles as Terrell dropkicks the ladder further into the gut of Gail. Terrell grabs the ladder but Gail kicks it and then they exchange forearms. Gail hits Terrell with a knee and then grabs the ladder, but Terrell punches Gail into the ladder and then hits a Rolling Neckbreaker! Terrell tries to get the ladder but Gail grabs her foot to stop her. Terrell kicks her off and then whips her into the ladder but Gail shows off her crazy athleticism by running up the ladder and diving off of it! Gail attempts a Flying Cross Body but Terrell kicks her in midair and then grabs the ladder and sets it up in the center of the ring. Terrell climbs up the ladder but Gail shoves it over and Terrell lands on her feet. The ladder is leaning against the ropes as Terrell hits Gail with several right hands. Terrell shoves Gail into the ladder but Gail grabs the ladder and uses it to lift herself up into a Wheelbarrow move. Whatever she is going for Terrell blocks it but Gail then turns it into a Spinning Bodyscissors that sends Terrell face first into the ladder! Gail sets the ladder back up and starts climbing but Terrell pulls her down and they exchange kicks and forearms until Gail slams Terrell into the turnbuckles. Gail goes out to the floor and grabs Terrell’s legs to attempt the Hanging Figure Four around the ring post, but Terrell kicks her away!

Back in the ring Terrell is climbing up one side of the ladder and Gail climbs up the other side. They exchange strikes at the top of the ladder until the ladder tips over and they both crash onto the top rope! Terrell gets back up and hits Gail with a series of forearms and then tries to whip her into the ladder but Gail ducks underneath it. As Gail bounces off the ropes Terrell shoves the ladder hard into Gail’s face in a vicious spot! Terrell tries to pick the ladder up but Gail’s legs are wrapped around the ladder so she can’t set it back up. Terrell pulls another ladder out from under the ring as Gail sets the original back up. Gail begins climbing it as Terrell actually places the ladder through the ropes and balances it between the original ladder and the ropes making it a sort of bridge. Terrell then grabs Gail and pulls her down. Terrell hits a series of forearms and kicks before slamming Gail into the turnbuckles. Terrell lays Gail out across the ladder set up between the original ladder and the ropes, and then Terrell climbs up top for a dive but Gail rolls off the ladder. Terrell regroups and climbs up the original ladder but Gail pulls her leg through the ladder rung and wraps her around the ladder in a Hanging Figure Four around the ladder as Tenay mentions the previous knee injury to Terrell. Gail climbs up the ladder but as she reaches up to get the contract Terrell climbs up the other side and hits Gail with a series of forearms. Terrell then grabs Gail and puts her in an insane Dragon Sleeper hanging Gail in midair from the top of the damn ladder! Terrell reaches up but everytime she reaches up her knee starts to hurt again so she looks down at Gail getting back up and dives off the ladder onto Gail instead with a Cross Body! Terrell immediately grabs her knee as she hits the mat. Terrell lays Gail out on the bridged ladder again and then Terrell climbs up with her. They fight atop the two ladders and then Terrell goes for the Diamond Cutter off the ladder but Gail shoves her off and Terrell crashes as she grabs her knee again! Gail goes for the Eat Defeat but Terrell counters into the Dragon Sleeper again! Gail actually reaches up and ties Terrell’s hair up in the ropes as Terrell is trying to choke her out! Terrell realizes what she did and releases the hold! As Terrell tries to free herself Gail begins climbing the ladder again! Gail pulls the contract down to win the match!

Sting is still talking to the 5th man on the phone and he tells the person they’ll see him in a few minutes.

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles vs. “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson vs. “The IT Factor” Bobby Roode vs. Kazarian

AJ Styles & Magnus are the first two men in the match, another man enters every 2 minutes. Eliminations come via over the top rope until it comes down to just two men when it becomes pinfall or submission. AJ and Magnus lockup and AJ gets Magnus in a waistlock, but Magnus counters into a wristlock. Magnus twists AJ’s arm but AJ rolls through and counters into a wristlock of his own. Magnus reverses again and catches AJ in a Fireman’s Carry. Magnus locks in an armbar but AJ fights back to his feet and reverses into a headlock. Magnus goes for a Back Suplex but AJ lands on his feet. AJ goes for a German Suplex but Magnus reverses into an attempt of his own only to eat an elbow from AJ. AJ then hits the ropes but Magnus is right behind him with a Lariat! Magnus tries to toss AJ over the top rope but AJ catches him with a jawbreaker on the top rope followed by a Phenomenal Dropkick. The next man in the match is KAZARIAN. AJ hits Kaz with a series of right hands as he gets in the ring and then whips him into the rope and attempts a clothesline, but Kaz ducks and catches AJ in a Sling Blade (Spinning Sleeper Slam). Kaz whips Magnus into the ropes and connects with a Heel Kick. Kaz slams Magnus into the corner and then tries to eliminate him but AJ kicks him in the leg. Kaz slams AJ into the corner but AJ then catches Kaz with a disgusting Snap Suplex into the turnbuckles! Magnus tries to eliminate AJ but eats a Forearm Smash. Kaz then hits AJ with a Back Suplex and chops Magnus before slamming him into the turnbuckles. Kaz puts the boots to AJ and then tries to eliminate Magnus. The next man out is SAMOA JOE! Joe lays into Kaz with strikes but Kaz cuts him off with a poke to the eyes. Kaz bounces off the ropes but then Magnus drops down in front of him causing Kaz to have to jump over and right into the awaiting Atomic Drop from Joe! Magnus hits the Mafia Kick and then Joe hits the Backsplash Senton! Magnus beats on AJ while Joe lights Kaz up with chops. AJ fighs back and then goes after Kaz and charges at him, but Kaz backdrops him over the top. AJ lands on the apron and swings at Kaz but he ducks and then decks AJ with a big right! AJ almost falls but holds onto the ropes and then backdrops a charging Kaz over the top to the floor eliminating Kaz!

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Back from the break MR. ANDERSON has entered the match. The final entrant in the match is BOBBY ROODE! Joe dumps Anderson over the top but he lands on the apron and then chokes Joe on the top rope. Roode tosses Magnus over the top but he lands on the apron and holds onto the bottom rope. AJ then jacks Roode’s jaw with a big uppercut. Joe beats on Anderson with headbutts in a corner. Roode tries to eliminate AJ and then hits a Powerslam as AJ dove at him! Roode tries to eliminate AJ and as he fights him off Anderson runs over and clotheslines AJ over the top! AJ is eliminated! Magnus tosses Roode over eth top but he holds onto the ropes while Joe absolutely commits homicide on Anderson in another corner. Joe clotheslines Anderson but both men spill over the top eliminating both Joe and Anderson! It’s down to just Roode & Magnus as it comes down to pinfall or submission. Roode beats on Magnus in the corner with chops and right hands. Magnus fights back and they exchange strikes in the center of the ring. Roode attempts to whip Magnus into the ropes but Magnus reverses it and then goes for a clothesline, but Roode ducks and as he bounces back off the ropes Magnus nails him with a Flying Knee! Magnus whips Roode in the ropes and attempts a backdrop but Roode kicks and then hits the ropes. Magnus is right behind but Roode saw it coming and catches him with the Double-R Spinebuster! 1…2…NO Magnus kicks out! Roode immediately locks in the Crossface! Magnus fights the hold and rolls Roode over into a pin! 1…2…NO Roode kicks out and then Magnus locks in the British Cloverleaf! Roode fights and crawls to the ropes and finally grabs the bottom rope to break the hold! Magnus grabs Roode but Roode catches him with an elbow and then lights him up with chops in the corner. Roode lifts Magnus up to the top and climbs up with him. Roode goes for a Superplex but Magnus blocks it and shoves Roode off the top! Magnus then dives off with the Flying Elbow Drop, but Roode rolls out of the way! Roode then quickly goes for the Payoff! Magnus blocks it and Roode swings at him, but Magnus ducks and attempts the MDD! Roode blocks it and rolls Magnus up! 1…2…NO Magnus kicks out and uses his legs to hook Roode’s arms and roll him over into a rollup! 1…2…3!

Winner: Magnus via pinfall (rollup)

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Hulk Hogan comes out to the ring and says next week at Destination X the X-Division takes center stage. Hogan introduces the X-Division Champion Chris Sabin. Hogan hands the microphone to Sabin and he says there was a time not too long ago after tearing both his ACL’s that he thought he would never be able to compete again. He says that the doctors told him that he couldn’t do it and his family said he shouldn’t do it but he never gave up on his dream. He says this is a dream he’s had ever since he was a kid watching Hulk Hogan on TV. Sabin says that dream is to become the World Heavyweight Champion and then he says the only thing left to do is hand over the X-Division Title. Sabin starts to hand the title over but then Bully Ray walks out interrupting them along with Devon.

Bully tells Hulk that he needs to tell Brooke that he and she have unfinished business and then he tells Sabin that he must be living in a fantasyland. He tells Sabin to do himself a favor and not hand that title over. He says that Hogan is going to get Sabin in trouble with Bully like he’s gotten everyone else in TNA including Hulk’s on daughter. Bully says he is a bad man and he does bad things and there is no way a “little boy” like Sabin can beat a man and a World Champion like Bully. He asks Sabin how bad he’ll beat the “living piss” out of Sabin if he cashes in that shot.

Sabin tells Bully to shut the hell up and says that with all of Bully’s “do you know who I am?” stuff he may have forgotten who Sabin is. Sabin asks Bully if he’s forgotten that he’s beaten him before and he’s the man that beat him in Team 3D’s retirement match and he says he’s the only man to have ever kicked out of the 3D…ever. Sabin says he’s the underdog but that is nothing new to him because he’s always been the underdog. Sabin says that a big man like Bully probably would beat a little man like him 9 times out of 10 but all he needs is that one time. Sabin says he will beat Bully at Destination X and he will ask Bully if he knows who HE is… “I am Chris Sabin…the TNA…WORLD Heavyweight Champion!”

Sabin holds up the X-Division Title and hands it over to Hogan signifying the cash in. Bully says that Sabin has just signed his death warrant and he reminds Sabin that he isn’t just fighting Bully at DX, he is fighting his whole family. Aces & Eights begin walking out but then Main Event Mafia’s music hits and they walk onto the stage putting a halt to Aces & Eights.

Sting says it won’t be Chris Sabin vs. Aces & Eights next week, it will be Chris Sabin against Bully Ray all by himself. Sting says his family will make sure of that and then he introduces the newest member of Main Event Mafia, the “Heavy Hitter”… RAMPAGE JACKSON!Rampage Jackson walks out sand stares down Bully Ray! As Aces & Eights freak out!

This show was set up as a Joker's Wild tournament that would set up a gauntlet match for 25 points in the Bound For Glory Series.

1. Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles beat Jeff Hardy and Joseph Park. Joe made Park tap with a rear naked chokehold. 

2. Mr. Anderson and Magnus defeated Jay Bradley and Hernandez. So far it was "random drawing 101" with people in feuds within the BFG series teaming up. A nice "asshole" chant broke out. Magnus pinned Hernandez without help from Anderson. 

Aces & 8's were out next through the crowd and had Las Vegas police around them.  Bully Ray took the mic. Bully talked about Chris Sabin having the opportunity for his tittle. Bully got the "what" treatment through his promo. Bully talked about voting in the Vice President. Bully said no to the challenge at Louisville. The Main Event Mafia came out. Kurt Angle took the mic and flubbed his lines, but said they would eliminate the Aces & 8's in Louisville. Sting said the newest member of Mafia is a heavy hitter and they walked off the stage.

3. Bobby Roode and Kazarian defeated Christopher Daniels and Austin Aries. Well, slap me around and call me Sally if I didn't see this one coming!!! Kazarian and Roode won with a small package. Daniels broke a three count following a very impressive DDT from the ropes. Bad Influence made up afterwards and walked to the back together.

4. Gail Kim defeated Taryn Terrell in a ladder match. Mickie James was seated on the railing next to the fans. There were a lot of your typical bumps for this one. A "this is awesome" chant broke out. Taryn brought another ladder out. They teased a spot with Gail Kim laying on the second ladder but she rolled out. There was a very nice splash from Taryn from the top of the ladder. Finally, Gail won by tying Taryn's hair to the ropes. The Knockouts had an awesome match with plenty of time to work with. The crowd was into it and they went all out. The best match of the TV taping for either show by far.

5. Magnus won a gauntlet match to earn 25 points in the Bound For Glory Series. Styles and Magnus opened the gauntlet match, which was fought Royal Rumble style until two men were left and then they fought the 25 points. The crowd was not into either of these guys and a boring chant broke out until Kazarian came out next. Samoa Joe was out next. Styles eliminated Kazarian. The Main Event double teamed Styles until Mr. Anderson came out. Roode came out next and the countdown to the final two was on. Anderson eliminated Styles. Joe and Anderson double eliminated each other and the match portion took place. Magnus won with a reverse roll up to a good reaction. 

Hulk Hogan came out for the X Division cash-in announcement and received a good reaction. They love Hogan live. He introduced Chris Sabin, who got a nice reaction. 
Sabin handed the tittle to Hulk, but Aces & 8's interrupted. Bully told Sabin that he would never beat him. Sabin told Bully that it was him who pinned Bully in Team 3D's retirement match. Bully brought out Aces & 8's. The Main Event Mafia came out.

Sting introduced Rampage Jackson to a standing ovation. The Mafia posed on the stage as the July 11 show came to a close. I don't know if this will be on TV, but Bully challenged Hulk, who started to threaten Bully. Hulk and Sabin double teamed Bully to close out the night.

Xplosion Taping 

1. Chavo Guerrero defeated Kenny King. This match was actually taped before the final Impact segment. An FSW chant broke out. FSW is the local wrestling company out here. The crowd was hot for King, who was featured in the main event for the crowd. However, Chavo won with a frogsplash.
