Jeff Hardy Expected To Make Full Recovery From Broken Leg

Jeff Hardy had surgery on his broken leg on April 29 after receiving the injury while riding a dirt bike. He had a titanium rod and plate inserted into the leg. While it was a bad break, it’s said that it will “heal strong”. Hardy is already walking on crutches. He appeared at an OMEGA live event in North Carolina. While no one wants to rush Hardy back too soon, it’s expected that he will be back in “about two months”. TNA is looking at the TV tapings for that time as his return date.

First Post Surgery Apperance For Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy will appear at Saturday's "Chaos in Cameron 2" event in Cameron, North Carolina despite undergoing surgery to repair a broken tibia earlier this week.
OMEGA promoter Shane Helms issued the following statement on Friday. "HUGE NEWS!! We've just received word from Jeff Hardy himself, that despite being only a few short days away from having a titanium rod surgically inserted into his leg, Jeff Hardy WILL BE at Chaos in Cameron 2, this Sat. Jeff Hardy Undergoing Surgery Today

TNA President Dixie Carter posted the following on Twitter earlier today, announcing that Jeff Hardy will be undergoing surgery later today on his broken leg that he sustained in a dirt-bike accident on Tuesday:

Opinionated View- That is awful to hear. First Edwards and now Hardy. I mean any type of broken leg is going to take time to heal and he is going to need rehab. You really just hope he can be back by year's end.

Update on Jeff Hardy Nasty Bump From TNA Lockdown Spoillers

On Saturday described Jeff Hardy's nasty bump on Friday night as "unplanned" during the 1/9 Impact Wrestling "Lockdown" special taping in New York City. As suspected, it turns out the bump was indeed planned and wasn't an accident as it was a way for TNA to write Hardy off TNA television for the time being as he is unable to be part of the upcoming UK tour. Hardy's 2009 drug conviction prevents him from entering the UK.

TMZ.com is featuring an article and video of the nasty fall that Jeff Hardy took at the Impact Wrestling "Lockdown" taping on Friday night in New York City at the Manhattan Center. The article claims that Hardy was "knocked out cold" when he took an unplanned bump.

Video Released of Nasty Bump from Last Night’s Impact Wrestling Tapings (SPOILERS)

A video of last night’s TNA Lockdown tapings was released on Instagram, showing Jeff Hardy taking a nasty fall from the top of the cage. During a match with the Hardys against Abyss and James Storm, Hardy fell from the top of the cage door to the steel steps outside of the cage.

According to a report by Wrestlezone, Hardy was able to finish the rest of the match, but he had to be helped to the back by officials. Crew members and Jeremy Borash were reportedly overhead saying that Hardy was knocked out backstage.




Jeff Hardy’s brother and tag team partner, Matt Hardy, later tweeted out an update on Jeff:

Thanks for your concern, @JohnNevill11. Jeff's the toughest guy I know, but it's been a nerve-racking night. @THETOMMYDREAMER

Appreciate your concerns for Jeff.. Last night he was legit hurt but we won't know how bad until he has some scans done. That's the update.

Jeff Hardy Cleared to Perform at TNA Bound for Glory 2014

Jeff Hardy has been reportedly clear to wrestle at the TNA Bound for Glory event set for Japan. Hardy's legal issues in the past caused some concern that he might not be able to make it to the event overseas. 

Bound for Glory 2014 is set for October 12 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.


Opinionated View- Good news. You have to assume this will mean some type of Hardys match at Bound for Glory and maybe if Jeff is cleared for Japan he can also make to the UK for that tour.

Matt and Jeff Hardy have been announced for the November 15th House of Hardcore event. The show will take place at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA. This will be the first time the Hardys have worked the ECW Arena as a tag team.

Opinionated View- I'm not in favor of this. Matt hasn't look good in a long time he's not the same great worker he once was. Also from what I remember things didn't end well with Hardy and TNA. And TNA has a bad habit of brining guys that have burned them before. But yeah THe Hardy Boys reuniting on TV should get some interest. I do wonder what this means for Hardy and ROH.
