Former World Champion To Guest Referee TNA World Title Match

TNA has announced a former world champion will serve as special guest referee for this week's TNA World Title Match between Kurt Angle and Eric Young. This week's episode will be a live telecast on Destination American. You can read the full story here

http://www.impactwrestling.com/news/item/6415

Opinionated View- If I had to venture a guess based on the storyline it would be Austin Aries. Reading the story it seems to be implying someone who has been gone will return. Of course Aries could be returning from injury based on what Young did to him.

Josh Mathews Breaks Down the Rules of Tonight's Stretcher Match

Opinionated View- I'm normally not a fan of matches like this but I prefer this over put guy on it and push over line. This at least this match has the idea of the loser was beaten so badly he could be strapped down he couldn't fight back anymore. Plus you could do a lot with how dangerous it would be for Kurt Angle in match like this with the mad man Eric Young.

Update on Possible Change to TNA’s Slammiversary Main Event (SPOILERS)

As previously reported, MVP suffered a knee injury on May 30th working a Preston City Wrestling event in England. At this time, his status for TNA's Slammiversary PPV is unknown. MVP is scheduled to main event the show, challenging Eric Young for the TNA World Title.

While there is no official word on his status, the feeling is that if MVP is out and needs to be replaced, that Bobby Lashley will be the one to replace him. Lashley is part of MVP's stable, and also scored a non-title victory over Young on the May 22nd edition of Impact Wrestling.

5/1 TNA IMPACT Wresting Report: Roode vs Young For the TNA World Title

Fresh off the heels of this past weekend’s “Sacrifice” PPV Impact opens up with highlights from Sacrifice, and then Bully Ray is shown spray painting a table backstage.
Earlier today EY talks about his reign with the Title and says that he is the only one not surprised he still has the belt. He walks into MVP’s office and MVP congratulates him on retaining the belt. MVP says that there wasn’t a level playing field before he got here but now EY is the World Champion. EY says he has dreamt of holding the title forever and now it’s a reality and the fans deserve a fighting champion. He says he wants this party to continue tonight and he wants to defend the title tonight. MVP says he respects that and that’s why he has something very special in order.
Mr. Anderson and Gunner walk into the office and he says that they should be rewarded for their success lately. Roode then walks in and says he should be rewarded as well because he beat Bully Ray. MVP laughs at the way Roode won but Roode says that a win is a win. MVP says that since EY went through a test of endurance to win the title they will do the same for the challengers. MVP says they will draw cards and the highest card gets a bye. The lower two cards then face each other with the winner of that match facing the man with the highest card in a #1 Contenders Match.
Anderson draws a 4 of spades and Gunner draws a 4 of diamonds while Roode has an ace of diamonds. That means Gunner and Anderson will face each other with the winner facing Roode.
Magnus comes down to the ring and he bitches about the #1 Contenders Tournament this week and he not being a part of it. Magnus says he wants MVP to come out and explain himself and the reason that Magnus isn’t in the title picture.
Abyss appears in the crowd and Magnus comes right after him! Abyss and Magnus brawl around ringside and then Abyss grabs a chair and swings at Magnus. Magnus sidesteps the chair and rolls back into the ring. Magnus puts the boots to Abyss as Abyss tries to get in the ring as well. Abyss grabs Magnus by the throat but Magnus kicks him in the balls. Magnus hits the ropes but Abyss grabs him by the throat again and this time Chokeslams him!
Abyss grabs the chair as the fans chant “we want Janice.” Abyss obliges them and pulls Janice out from under the ring! Magnus bails out of the ring and retreats up the ramp as Abyss climbs back in the ring.
Bully Ray comes out now and he is carrying a table. Bully has spray painted “DIXIE” on the table which he sets it up in the corner. Bully is selling his ribs as he walks around the ring. He says that Dixie snuck up behind him and pushed him off the turnbuckles through two tables at Sacrifice. He says that he has bruised and fractured ribs, but he is STILL standing! He says he may not be as big and bad as he used to be but he is still tough as nails and it will take more than an ugly woman like Dixie to end his career. Bully promises that if he sees Dixie tonight she will go through the table he brought to the ring!
A limo is shown arriving in the parking lot and Dixie Carter gets out of it.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Rockstar Spud approaches Dixie in the back and tries to hide her with a garbage bag. Spud tells her what Bully just said but she laughs and asks if he really thinks that she is afraid of Bully. Dixie asks Spud if he saw what she did to Bully on Sunday night. Dixie says she didn’t even break a sweat but Spud says that is the problem because now he wants to put Dixie through a table. She says that Bully is all bark and no bite and that she doesn’t take kindly to being threatened.
TNA World Title #1 Contenders Tournament Semifinals
“The Modern Day Asshole” Mr. Anderson vs. “The Modern Day Viking” Gunner
Anderson defeated Samuel Shaw in a ridiculous Committed Match at Sacrifice while Gunner beat James Storm in a wild, vicious I Quit Match. Gunner and Anderson lockup and Anderson gets Gunner in a side headlock. Gunner reverses it and Anderson counters back into one of his own. Gunner reverses it back but Anderson shoves him into the ropes only to get run over with a shoulder block. Gunner hits the ropes and Anderson catches him with a Hip Toss attempt, but Gunner blocks it and attempts one of his own. Anderson counters into a Spinning Neckbreaker attempt but Gunner shoves him away. Gunner gets Anderson in another side headlock but Anderson reverses it into a hammerlock and then transitions into a side headlock. Gunner forces Anderson into the corner but Anderson fights out and goes back to the headlock. Gunner slams Anderson into the corner and Anderson goes right back to the headlock yet again. This time Gunner slams Anderson into the corner and immediately hits a Snapmare Takeover. Gunner quickly locks in a chinlock on Anderson but Anderson is able to reverse it into a hammerlock on the mat. Gunner fights up to his feet and catches Anderson with a back elbow. Gunner hits the ropes but Anderson runs him over with a clothesline for a quick nearfall. Anderson puts Gunner in a side headlock but Gunner slams him into the turnbuckles face first. Anderson fights back with a back elbow but Gunner responds with a Running Back Elbow. Gunner whips Anderson into the ropes and then attempts a clothesline but Anderson ducks and goes for a Cross Body Block! Gunner catches Anderson and hits a Snap Fall Away Slam! Gunner climbs up top but he sees James Storm running down to the ring. Gunner knocks Storm off the apron and then turns around into a Mic Check attempt from Anderson! Gunner elbows Anderson repeatedly and shoves him into the turnbuckles. Gunner attempts to whip Anderson into the opposite corner but Anderson reverses it and then charges at Gunner. As Anderson was charging at Gunner Storm went for a Leaping Enziguri on Gunner, but Gunner moves and Storm nails Anderson as the referee was turned away! Gunner hits the Hanger 18! 1…2…3!
Winner: Gunner via pinfall (Hanger 18)
Magnus is still bitching about not being in the title picture backstage when someone with a Gunner like beard walks up to him. Magnus calls this person “Bram” and seems to be shocked as he hugs the person. He asks Bram what he is doing here and Bram says he is here to see Magnus because they need to talk. Bram is actually former NXT wrestler Kenneth Cameron who was a part of The Ascension tag team in WWE/NXT.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Backstage Bram says he’s come here to “knock some bloody sense” into Magnus, yep he’s British too. Bram says Magnus is a sorry excuse for what he used to be. He says that Magnus is an embarrassment to himself, his friends, and the UK. He asks Magnus if he remembers the good old days and points to his suit saying that this isn’t him. He asks Magnus if he remembers their days back in the day fighting and says that Magnus has gone soft. Magnus gets in Bram’s face and tells him to watch it but Bram shoves him against the lockers and tells him to watch it. He says that he is here for Magnus’ own good.
Ethan Carter III is in the ring and he says in seven days he as the opportunity of his career for a dream match against Kurt Angle. He says that match was supposed to happen at Lockdown but he injured Angle’s knee before the event. Now Kurt is back and that makes EC3 very happy. EC3 says he can’t validate himself as the new American Icon until he defeats Kurt Angle. He says that he has never been pinned or submitted in TNA, and he sure as hell isn’t going to start now. EC3 says that tonight he has a special treat and he is an accomplished mat technician claiming to be 280-0 in high school. The fans loudly chant “where’s your boyfriend” at him. EC3 says it’s funny the fans chant that at him because he needs a sparring partner tonight and that partner is Spud!
Spud comes out in an amateur wrestling singlet even wearing some headgear too. Spud and EC3 say that even in training accidents can happen so the fans shouldn’t try this at home.
EC3 takes Spud down and then puts Spud in a Rolling Front Facelock before letting him up. They shake hands and EC3 takes Spud down again with a Front Facelock. He lets Spud up again and then tells Spud to “assume the position” which makes the fans pop a little bit too much. Spud gets down in the amateur wrestling stance and then EC3 goes to take him down until Angle comes out and interrupts them.
Angle says what they’re doing is “real cute” and he would come down there and school them both, but he wants EC3 to know what he is getting into next week. Angle says if EC3 shows up next week he won’t be facing “some foul mouth midget like you were just humping” or a prep school buddy. He says EC3 won’t even be facing “Kurt Angle, Olympic Gold Medalist” because that Angle plays by the rules. He says the Angle that EC3 will be facing is out for blood! He says that EC3 injured him and then mocked him which pissed him off even more. Angle says he will beat EC3 next week snapping that unbeaten streak but he will also hurt him and snap his ankle. Angle tells EC3 to enjoy walking around for the next week because the pain begins in seven days! It’s real, it’s damn real!
The Beautiful People talk about their celebration tonight and they say that it will be epic.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
The video package from Sunday where Knux told Rebel that they were bringing “Crazy Steve and The Freak” with them to TNA is shown. A graphic appears saying “The Menagerie Debuts Next Thursday” which I assume is Knux’s new faction.
TNA World Title #1 Contenders Tournament Finals
“The Modern Day Viking” Gunner vs. “The IT Factor” Bobby Roode
Gunner defeated Anderson earlier tonight while Roode received a bye. The winner faces EY in the Main Event for the World Title! Gunner and Roode lockup and Roode kicks Gunner in the gut. Roode beats on Gunner in the corner with repeated right hands and then he stomps Gunner down. Roode attempts to whip Gunner into the ropes but Gunner reverses it and then goes for a backdrop. Roode kicks Gunner but then Gunner runs him over with a shoulder block followed by a series of punches and headbutts. Gunner whips Roode into the ropes and lifts him way up into the air with a backdrop followed by a Diving Headbutt for a nearfall. Gunner reaches down to grab Roode but Roode pulls him through the ropes to the floor by his tights. Roode goes out and stomps on Gunner and then flings him into the ring steps! Roode slams Gunner into the ring steps again and then tosses him into the ring and covers him for a nearfall. Roode stomps on Gunner and then eats a series of headbutts from Gunner. Roode catches Gunner with an elbow and then a boot. He climbs up top and dives off with the Blockbuster for another nearfall. Gunner climbs up top and dives off with the Flying Headbutt, but Roode moves and hits the Roode Bomb! 1…2…3!
Winner & NEW #1 Contender: Bobby Roode via pinfall (Roode Bomb)
Backstage Dixie Carter tells security to set up “that table” inside the ring and no matter what not to leave her side tonight.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Backstage The Beautiful People talk about a letter that they have received from TNA. The letter informs Angelina that she is expected to carry herself with respect and that her wardrobe is too revealing so from this moment on she and Velvet are expected to dress as ladies. She says that the letter claims there will be severe repercussions. Angelina says the letter is from the TNA Board of Directors. Angelina says they are going to put on evening gowns like the ladies they are and have their damn celebration. Angelina says that no one is going to know what they are going to be wearing by the end of the celebration because they don’t like to take orders.
Dixie Carter comes down to the ring with several security guards as security sets the table up in the ring. Dixie sits on the table and says that she is the woman that put Bully Ray through a table. She asks if Bully really thought that she would so easily forget how Bully double crossed her at Lockdown. Dixie says she will always remember that just like Bully Ray will always remember that she put the master of the tables through a table. Dixie says it was the first time that a woman put him through a table and she mocks him about fracturing a rib in the process. She says Bully is trying to intimidate him by spray painting her name on a table but she says she is not afraid of him because Bully should fear Dixie.
Bully Ray comes out and asks if she can hear the entire word wanting him to put her through a table. Bully asks the fans if they think that he fears Dixie and then asks security if they really think they can stop him from getting to the ring. Bully says he is going to reason with them and asks if they really want to stick up for Dixie and stand in his way right now. He says deep down each one of them would love to see Bully put her through a table. Bully tells them to do the right thing and walk away as the fans chant “walk away” at them. Security actually obliges and walks to the back as Bully laughs! The security guards in the ring remain at Dixie’s side and Bully says he will count to five, and if the security in the ring isn’t out by the time he gets to five he is going to kick the crap out of them. He says then he will put Dixie through a table!
The fans count to five for Bully and then he slides in and security jumps on him. Bully eventually takes them all out! Dixie actually doesn’t back down and tries to slap him, but Bully blocks the slap and goes for a Powerbomb! MVP comes out and screams at Bully to stop. He tells Bully to leave her alone as much as it pains him to say. He says that contrary to what Dixie believes that is not her ring, it is his ring. He says that she better get out of the ring before he changes his mind and lets Bully do to her whatever he was planning to do. MVP says that he has had enough of this personal vendetta between the two as the fans chant “we want tables” at him. MVP says everything that happens in that ring is his responsibility and he doesn’t have time for this. Until further notice both Dixie and Bully are barred from the Impact Zone!
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
Willow vs. “Cowboy” James Storm

Hardy chokes Storm on the guardrail and then dives off the ring steps with Poetry In Motion sandwiching Storm against the guardrail! Hardy slams Storm against the ring steps and then pulls out a chair! Willow goes for an Arabian Facebuster off the apron onto Storm on the steps, but Storm rolls out of the way and then grabs his beer bottle and takes a swig. The referee tells Storm to put it down so Storm shoves him causing a DQ.
Winner: Willow via DQ
Storm breaks the beer bottle on the ring post and then goes to cut Willow with it, but Willow blasts him with his umbrella and chases Storm up the ramp with the broken beer bottle. Storm retreats up the ramp but Mr. Anderson is waiting for him and hits Storm with the Mic Check!
In the back Bro-Mans complain about losing their belts to The Wolves and Robbie claims the 3-on-2 stipulation was unfair to them because it threw them off. MVP says he doesn’t have the patience for this and says they are going all three team up again tonight against The Wolves and a special partner.
Bully Ray walks up and asks MVP what his job title is, and then asks if he knows why he has that job title. Bully says he made sure that MVP kept the job at Lockdown but MVP says everything that happens in that ring is his arena. MVP says whatever happens outside the arena he has no control over and walks away.

The Wovles destroy Robbie with big chops and kicks and then they whip him into a Muta Chop from Sanada! Jesse and Zema drag Eddie into the corner as things started to settle down and the heels triple team him. Robbie hits a Running Shoulder Block on Eddie in the corner and then Zema tags into the match. All three heels sandwich Eddie in the corner with the Boom Knees! Zema covers Eddie for a nearfall before Davey pulls him off. Zema grabs Eddie by the foot but eats an Enziguri and then Robbie charges at Eddie only to get tossed to the floor. Eddie tosses Jesse to the floor as well and then tags in Davey who starts throwing elbows and clotheslines all over the place! Davey hits a series of kicks and then whips Zema into the ropes only to eat a kick from Zema. Zema bounces off the ropes right into the Alarm Clock from Davey! Davey hits a Flying Forearm on Zema in the corner followed by a T-Bone Suplex! 1…2…NO Bro-Mans try to break it up but Davey moves and they hit Zema! Sanada hits a Springboard Diving Muta Chop on Bro-Mans and then Eddie hits a Ghetto Stomp to the back of Zema followed by a Diving Moonsault off the top by Sanada and then a Ghetto Stomp to Zema on the chest! 1…2…3!
Winners: The Wolves & Sanada via pinfall (Ghetto Stomp)
In the back Beautiful People are shown wearing their evening gowns.
----COMMERCIAL BREAK----
The Beautiful People come down to the ring and Angelina talks about the letter she received earlier today about BP’s attire. Angelina says they take orders from no one and if someone tells them they can’t do something they will. Angelina suggests they strip right now and then their music hits, but they stop before actually stripping. Angelina laughs and says the fans are so disgusting and pathetic and asks if they honestly thought they would show them their goodies. Angelina says they couldn’t get girls like she and Velvet if the fans went to Nevada with a fist full of 50’s. Velvet says they wrote the letter only to set them up by promising them something they would never have. Angelina asks the fans to rise and pay respect “to the greatest Knockouts wrestler of all time” as she raises the title in the air.
Gail Kim walks out and apologizes for interrupting their love fest. She says that BP have made a mockery of the division that she helped build, and they promised they would strip down so she is going to make sure they get stripped of everything. Gail decks Angelina and then forearms Velvet! Gail hits a clothesline on Angelina and then starts stripping her dress off but Velvet saves her!

Update on Why TNA Made Eric Young TNA World Champion

Pwinsider.com reports that part of the reason that Eric Young was made TNA World Champion was so that they can do some cross promotion with his Animal Planet show, Off The Hook: Extreme Catches. Season three of the show debuts on Sunday June 16, and the plan is to spend the next two months getting Young over as champion to coincide with the return of the show.

TNA is also trying to move ahead by putting Eric Young's goofy character from the past, in the past. They want to change his perception and repackage him as a credible champion in the eyes of the fans.

Opinionated View- I say they have done a pretty good job so far moving on from Comedy EY to the current Eric Young. So far so good but we will see how it goes.

4/17 TNA Impact Wrestling Report: Eric Young vs Abyss Monstersball

Impact opens up with highlights from last week’s shocking World Title change including a teary eyed Eric Young saying that moment was even more perfect than he ever would of thought it could have been. As much as I ragged on that title change and still feel it was a horrible decision, it was cool to see a genuinely emotional Young talking about what it meant to win that match to him.
The new World Champion Eric Young makes his way down to the ring for the first time since winning the World Title. EY says the belt he’s holding signifies a lifetime of hard work as the fans chant “you deserve it” at him. He says everything he’s done in his life has led him right here to be the World Champion. He says that he won the belt for him but he will be a champion for the fans. EY says this is his way of paying the fans back for their 10 years of unsolicited support for him. He says the time for a paper champion is over and things will change around here. He says they will have fun and he will defend the belt whenever, however, anyway the fans see fit. EY says the Impact Zone will be a party but before he can say anything else Dixie Carter walks out to interrupt his championship celebration.
Dixie says last week was such a special week for EY and everyone knows there is just one person responsible for this and that person is Dixie. She says she’s always seen the potential in him and 8 years ago when he was almost fired and he did the “Don’t Fire Eric” campaign she was the one that allowed him to stay. Dixie says that she invented the beard and grabs it and says she’s the one that made it fashionable to wear on TV before anyone else decided to. She jerks EY’s head around while holding the beard and ranting about beards.
EY says he thought Bully Ray packed her up and shipped her back to Nashville. He says that MVP is in charge and they don’t need her anymore. Dixie says that MVP is responsible for wrestling operations for now which she will be changing, but EY represents her as the companies World Champion. She says that for better or worse he is the hood ornament for TNA and he will go wherever she tells him. EY says he hopes she has some puke bags because riding around with her would make him sick. Dixie says that EY may usually look and smell like an unemployed lumberjack, but he is disrespecting her when he talks to her like that so he better put her in high regard. EY says he’s going to do to her what he always does to crap and flush it. She says she is trying to be professional while EY is more interested in being a court jester for the mindless people in the audience. She says that he will honor and obey her, but EY says he honors and obeys nobody. He says he is his own man and always will be so if she is interested in a paper champ she’s looking in the wrong place. EY makes a Dukes of Hazard reference in saying he’s going to run her over with the General Lee, but Dixie says he is the World Champion now and needs to find some class. She says that she is going to start that by giving him a Champions makeover and if he refuses she will just start by making over his “foul mouthed hard drinking little woman.”
EY says she is going to get one warning from him but before he can say anything else Bully comes out and interrupts them. Bully apologizes to EY but says everyone is sick and tired of hearing Dixie talk and tells her to shut her mouth. Bully says he isn’t here to steal EY’s spotlight but he is here to take out the trash as he points to Dixie. Bully says EY is a role model for every single wrestler that has ever been held down by a loser boss like Dixie. He says she should be proud of him, of a guy that has worked his way up from the bottom to become the World Champion. Dixie says Bully double crossed her and stole her money so why in the world would anyone listen to him. Bully says he did still her money and spent it in a strip club.
Bully says Dixie doesn’t want to piss him off because if she remembers last week she almost got put through a table. Bully says she should know what happens to people like her when a tables in the ring with him. He says this is EY’s time and starts a “good bye” chant with the fans aimed at Dixie. It pisses her off and causes her to leave Bully and EY in the ring. Bully says EY is a guy you can count on and a World Champion the fans can get behind and be proud of. Bully says he doesn’t endorse many people in the business because he doesn’t like a lot of people but he respects and likes EY. Bully starts an “EY” chant as EY raises the World Title.

EY approaches Bully backstage and says he appreciates what Bully said earlier. Bully says he meant every word and he’d like to talk to him more but he still has some of Dixie’s money to spend so he’s going back to the strip club.
Abyss approaches EY from behind and says he just wants EY to see up close what he did and points to his face. Abyss says he’s worse than he’s ever been and he heard EY say he would defend that belt anywhere, any place, anytime. Abyss challenges EY to defend the belt tonight and he says that he smells the fear in him. Abyss starts to walk away but EY grabs him and says he didn’t refuse and if they are going to do it they will do it right in Monsters Ball. Abyss asks EY if he is insane and asks if he has any idea what he will do to EY tonight. EY gets in Abyss’ face and says he’s crazy just like Abyss and he’ll see him tonight.
----COMMERICAL BREAK----
Rockstar Spud approaches EC3 in the back and tries to get out of the match tonight with Willow, but EC3 doesn’t let him and asks if Spud is scared of Willow. Spud says he is a little bit and EC3 says he has every right to be but he shouldn’t be. EC3 reminds Spud that it was he that pushed Jeff Hardy off the ladder months ago that cost Hardy the World Title match. EC3 says tonight’s match is a Handicap Match because they are handicappers. He says that he handicapped Kurt Angle and Spud is going to handicap Willow.
MVP is in the ring now and he talks about EY winning the World Title last week. MVP says he wants to congratulate EY for having everything he’s done in his career pay off last week. He says that lost in all of the celebration is one name, Samoa Joe. MVP says he has to admit that he was more than just a little mad when Joe refused to wrestle last week. MVP says that he and Joe go way back and he has his personal phone number if Joe wanted to call him, and now Joe hasn’t returned his calls. MVP says now word has gone around that Joe is “disgruntled” and if he is disgruntled he should come talk to him. Austin Aries’ music then hits interrupting him.
Aries comes out and says if you want to talk about disgruntled you’re looking at the most disgruntled man that ever lived. MVP says that he wasn’t talking to or about Aries and Aries says that he hasn’t been talking to or thinking about him for almost a month now. The fans chant for him and he says it’s nice to know that some people haven’t forgotten about him since he has been sitting on the sidelines since Lockdown. Aries mentions MVP’s “MVP Principals” and says that he never needed any motivation but sitting home the last six weeks has lit a fire under his ass. Aries says not once has MVP validated his value to the company. Aries says that last week he had a Gauntlet Match with 10 of the best that TNA had to offer but didn’t include “the greatest.” Aries says that he came down here to “participate” and get some answers. MVP says he came to Aries like a man before Lockdown to be on his team but Aries gave him a speech about “integrity” and wanting to have a front row seat to his match with Roode and then Aries screwed him over. MVP says that Aries made his bed so now he needs to lie in it. Aries says MVP offered him a bunch of promises and asks if this is really why he is being punished right now because MVP’s feelings are hurt. MVP says if Aries wants to see him he can see him right now and gets in his face. MVP says this isn’t about Aries or MVP, it’s about the fans contrary to what Aries thinks. MVP says since Aries doesn’t need any motivation or validation he can give him some participation right now.
MVP takes off his jacket and Aries mocks him sarcastically saying “oooooh no, not your suit coat” and says he’ll see MVP’s coat and raise him a shirt as he takes off his shirt getting in MVP’s face. Aries asks if he wants to do this and says “right now…RIGHT NOW…NO, next week” and walks out of the ring. Aries says he’s too smart to throw fists with a convicted felon right now, but what he will do next week is outwrestle him and show him that he is the greatest man that ever lived.
A vignette highlighting EY’s title win is shown. EY is shown hugging Tommy Dreamer backstage after the win.

He says that they should have no fear because he in all of his “chocolate splendor” is here and he isn’t going anywhere. King says he’s a little disappointed because for months he has been absent and being back TNA is a very different place with MVP in charge. He says he didn’t come out to talk about MVP’s intelligence because that would be a very short conversation. He says he came to talk about business sense and if you had a player with the skills of Derek Jeter or Peyton Manning you wouldn’t have them riding the bench. King says he is the Lebron James of pro wrestling and he has been on the bench. He says that stops now and he didn’t come out to try and get MVP to fight him again so he’s going to sit at the announce table and commentate as a “Hyundai Sanada fights a Buck Tooth Tiger” and may the best man win. King says whoever wins this series will lay the belt down at his feet.
