A.J. Styles won the Bound For Glory Series to earn a shot at the TNA Title at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. Barring a title change, Styles will challenge Bully Ray at the October 20 pay-per-view in San Diego, California.

TNA No Surrender Results: Bound For Glory Main Event Set

The road to BFG Series heats up tonight as “No Surrender” comes live from St. Louie. Magnus is shown arriving to the arena and then a great video package hyping up the Final Four is shown followed by a video package hyping up Anderson vs. Bully.

Bully Ray makes his way down to the ring accompanied by Brooke Tessmacher. Bully says things in his family haven’t been going “exactly right” lately and he and the VP aren’t on the same page right now. Bully says he’s willing to forgive Anderson because all of their problems are because of Hulk Hogan. A big “Hogan” chant starts and then Hogan comes out onto the stage.

Hogan says his ears are burning because some idiot is mentioning his name. Hogan welcomes us to “No Surrender” and gets a cheap pop for the St. Louis namedrop. Hogan says instead of being a crybaby Bully should be worried about defending his title against one of his brothers…brother. Bully says Hogan is the reason there are problems in Aces & Eights and he knows that his brother will do the right thing tonight. Bully says if that’s what he needs to worry about then Anderson needs to come out and tell him face to face.

Anderson walks out and Hogan tries to shake his hand but Anderson just walks by him. Bully says A&8 is stronger than Hogan will ever be and then he tells Anderson that all he has to do is apologize and it’s over. Anderson says Bully is right and he was out of line, and he can’t “freakin’ weight to get out of line tonight” before decking Ray! Anderson says there WILL be a new World Champion tonight!

Hogan says the World Title match will now be Last Man Standing!

Tenay and Taz hype up the Final Four tonight.

BFG Series Semifinals 
“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles vs. “A-Double” Austin Aries

These two had an excellent one-on-one match earlier in the BFG Series which ended in a double pin with Aries getting his shoulder up at the last second. AJ handpicked Aries for this match. AJ and Aries lockup and they brawl into the corner before breaking clean. Dueling “AJ Styles-Austin Aries” chants break out early. They lockup again and this time Aries gets AJ in a wristlock but AJ quickly reverses it on Aries. Aries counters by rolling through into a side headlock. AJ shoves Aries into the ropes and leapfrogs Aries and then goes for the Phenomenal Dropkick but Aries holds onto the ropes. Aries then charges at AJ but AJ backdrops him and Aries lands on his feet. AJ back elbows Aries and then hits the ropes but eats a big dropkick that sends AJ falling through the ropes onto the ramp. AJ rolls of the ramp and then Aries climbs to the top, stumbles, but catches himself and dives off with the Savage Flying Axe Handle. Aries rolls AJ back into the ring and then attempts a Missile Dropkick but AJ moves and then shoves Aries into the ropes and connects with the Phenomenal Dropkick! Aries rolls out to the floor and AJ goes for a Slingshot Plancha but Aries rolls back into the ring and AJ lands hard on the floor. Aries goes for the Heat Seeking Missile through the ropes but AJ destroys him with a Forearm Smash in midair! AJ climbs back into the ring and slams Aries into the turnbuckles. AJ chops Aries and Aries answers with a chop of his own. They exchange repeated chops and forearms and then AJ attempts to lift Aries up into the air, but Aries blocks it and goes for the Brainbuster. AJ blocks it and then kicks Aries and blasts him with a forearm smash. Aries bounces off the ropes with a forearm of his own.

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Back from the break Aries charges at AJ but he moves out of the way and then goes for a Fireman’s Carry. Aries blocks it and goes for the Brainbuster again, but AJ blocks it and attempts a suplex of his own. Aries cuts AJ off and hits him with an elbow. Aries hits a series of elbows and forearms and then goes for the Rolling Elbow but eats a nasty forearm instead! AJ then hits the Spinning Backfist, but Aries counters the Lariat attempt into a Crucifix Bomb attempt. AJ blocks it and lifts Aries up into a Fireman’s Carry Neckbreaker over his knee! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out! AJ goes for the Styles Clash but Aries reaches out and grabs the ropes to block it. AJ dumps Aries over the top rope and then forearms him knocking him to the floor. AJ dives over the top with a Slingshot Plancha onto Aries on the floor! AJ rolls Aries back into the ring and then sets up for the Springboard Flying Forearm but Aries takes his legs out from under him and AJ hits the apron hard! Actually it looked like Aries and AJ’s faces might have colliding on the fall, ouch. Aries drags AJ back onto the apron and then attempts to suplex him back into the ring, but AJ blocks it and tries to suplex Aries over the top! Aries blocks it and nails AJ with a forearm. Aries then goes for the Heat Seeking Missile again but AJ quickly leaps back to the apron and dives off the top with the Springboard Flying Forearm! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out! AJ goes for the Styles Clash again but Aries blocks it again so AJ goes for a Powerbomb, but Aries counters into a hurricanrana! Aries goes for the IED in the corner but AJ gets his foot up! AJ then hits the ropes but eats the IED as he turns around! Aries goes for the Brainbuster but AJ counters with a knee to the head and then he goes for a Suplex. Aries blocks it and hits the Brainbuster! 1…2…NO AJ kicks out! Aries immediately locks in the Last Chancery! AJ is trapped in the center of the ring! AJ fights the hold off so Aries begins headbutting AJ in the back. Aries climbs up top but AJ gets to his feet and crotches Aries. AJ climbs up with Aries but eats a series of elbows from Aries, and then Aries boxes his ears! Aries goes for the 450 Splash but AJ rolls out of the way! Aries lands on his feet and then goes for the IED again but AJ moves out of the way and Aries lands on the top rope! AJ catches Aries with the Pele as he was hanging off the top! AJ climbs up with Aries and hits a Super Styles Clash! 1…2…3!

Winner: AJ via pinfall (Super Styles Clash)

In the back Sting talks to Magnus and he reminds Magnus that MEM started with all World Champs but they made an exception for him because they KNEW he would be a World Champion. Magnus interrupts Sting and says with all due respect he’s tired of being called the future, and tonight the future is now.

Back from the break Roode is at ringside ranting that he doesn’t want to wait anymore so someone better get Magnus’ ass out to the ring.

“The IT Factor” Bobby Roode vs. Magnus

Members of the St. Louis Rams are shown at ringside. Falcons are going to beat that ass this weekend, just saying. Roode jumps Magnus as he makes his entrance and puts the boots to him in the corner. Roode tosses Magnus headfirst into the opposite corner and then whips him back to the other one. Roode charges at Magnus but eats a clothesline! Magnus hits a series of lefts and rights followed by a European Uppercut! Magnus hits the ropes and avoids a dropkick from Roode and then goes for the British Cloverleaf, but Roode quickly rolls out to the floor to get away from the surging Magnus. Roode trips Magnus from the outside and drags him out to the floor. Roode slams Magnus into the apron and then hits a clothesline. Roode slams Magnus into the ring steps. Roode tosses Magnus back into the ring and goes right back to stomping a mudhole into the Brit. Roode whips Magnus into the ropes and connects with a knee to the gut and then does the same thing a second time. Roode follows up with a Back Suplex for a nearfall. Roode hits a Vertical Suplex and gets another nearfall as Roode starts showing some frustration now. Roode chokes Magnus in the ropes and then Magnus blocks a right hand and hits a series of rights. Magnus attempts to whip Roode into the ropes but Roode counters into a knee and then a clothesline. 1…2…NO Magnus kicks out! Roode puts Magnus in a rear chinlock on the mat. Magnus almost passes out in the chinlock but starts getting fired up so Roode releases it and chops him. Roode hits the ropes and kicks Magnus as Magnus attempted a backdrop. Roode then hits the ropes and Magnus is right behind him with a clothesline attempt, but Roode saw it coming and ducks it. Roode then goes for a rollup but Magnus holds onto the ropes and then nails Roode with a Lariat! Magnus gets back to his feet and charges at Roode but Roode gets his boot up. Roode climbs up top and dives off with a Flying Cross Body, but Magnus catches him in midair and transitions into the Tormentum! 1…2…NO Roode kicks out and then Magnus goes for the Cloverleaf again. Roode rakes the eyes of Magnus and then catches him with the Double-R Spinebuster as Magnus charges at him! 1…2…NO Magnus kicks out! Roode puts Magnus up on the top rope and climbs up with him. Roode goes for a Superplex but Magnus blocks it and Front Superplexes Roode off the top and then dives off with the Flying Elbow Drop! 1…2…NO Roode kicks out! Magnus goes for the MDD but Roode counters into a rollup! 1…2…NO Magnus kicks out and then goes for a clothesline but Roode counters into the Crossface! Magnus reverses it into the Cloverleaf! Roode almost reaches the ropes but Magnus pulls him to the center of the ring! Roode almost taps but scrapes his way to the ropes to break the hold! Roode rolls out to the floor but Magnus quickly catches him and rolls him back into the ring. As Magnus climbs back in Roode kicks the ropes into his nuts! Roode goes for the Payoff but Magnus blocks it and trips Roode and then flips into a Bridging Jackknife! 1…2…3!

Winner: Magnus via pinfall (rollup)

Roode is freaking out in the back flipping over tables and then Bad Influence try to calm him down. Roode says this is Hogan’s fault and he screwed them. He says they’ll get Hogan back because if none of them go to the Finals then NOBODY goes to the finals!

In the back Hogan talks to Manik and he says he doesn’t know what it is but when he puts the Manik mask on he takes it to another level. Manik agrees and says he wants to test himself against Jeff Hardy. Hogan agrees and then Dixie Carter walks in. She says that she got a call from BELLATOR and they’re pulling Rampage and Tito away from TV because they want to protect their fighters. Hogan says after the PPV fight they can feed Tito to Rampage on Impact and Dixie agrees.

Bully talks to the rest of A&8 and says he can’t believe the disrespect his VP has shown him and he almost thinks that the rest of them are happy about what Anderson is doing. He says maybe they want Anderson to be the president and he says he can’t believe they would feel that way after everything he has done for them. Ray says he put this club together while that selfish bastard, Anderson, has done nothing. He reminds them that HE was the one that brought Anderson in. Bully says they really don’t want Anderson to be the president so they need to do the right thing tonight, and then he says he loves them and is proud of them. Bully says he hopes they feel the same about him.

Bully Ray (c) w/Brooke Tessmacher vs. Mr. Anderson

As Bully makes his entrance Anderson attacks him on the ramp! They exchange blows and then Anderson tosses him over the top into the ring! Anderson beats on Bully in the corner and then whips him hard into the opposite corner. Anderson punches Ray in the head repeatedly and then tosses Ray out to the floor. Anderson talks trash to Taz and then slams Bully into the announce table as Taz asks Anderson what his problem is. Anderson slams Bully into the guardrail and then Bully grabs Christy Hemme and uses her as a shield until she gets away. Anderson chases him around ringside and then slams him into the apron. Ray pokes Anderson in the eyes and then hits him with a series of right hands before slamming him into the ring steps. Ray slams Anderson into the steps again and then hits a Shortarm Clothesline! Ray continues to punish Anderson as Tessmacher looks on smiling. Ray hits an elbow and then Brooke hands him a chair and he goes to swing it, but Anderson kicks Bully in the gut and nails Ray with the chair! Anderson beats on Bully right in front of Taz and then shoves him back in the ring. Anderson tosses a chair in the ring and then tries to grab Ray but eats an elbow. Ray climbs up top but Anderson punches him in the balls and then pulls him down into the Green Bay Plunge! Anderson rolls out to the floor and pulls a table out from under the ring! Anderson slides the table in the ring but walks right into a Big Boot from the Bully! Bully grabs the chair and beats Anderson with it over the back before setting the table up in the corner.

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Ray hits Anderson with the chair again and then argues with Earl Hebner. Earl gets in Bully’s face which shocks Bully so he shoves Earl hard into the turnbuckles which gets him some major heat from the live crowd. Ray goes for a Big Boot but Anderson ducks and hits the Mic Check onto the chair! Anderson tries to revive Hebner as Bully is laid out in the center of the ring. Anderson picks Bully up but Bully catches him with the Bully Cutter onto the chair out of nowhere! The rest of Aces & Eights walk down to the ring and surround Anderson. They pick Anderson up and Brooke Tessmacher low blows him from behind. Ray tells them to put Anderson down and then they hit a Triple Powerbomb! The referee starts to come to and make the 10 count on Anderson. Anderson gets up at 9 and Ray gets pissed and screams at him to stay down. Anderson decks Ray repeatedly with right hands but then Ray destroys him with a Lariat! Ray picks up his chain and decks Anderson with it! Anderson is busted open but still gets up at the 9 count only to get Speared into the table! Anderson is unable to get up this time and Bully even threatens him with a jagged piece of the table if he gets up.

Winner & STILL World Champ: Bully via KO

EMT’s come out and put Anderson on a stretcher. Bully stops them from wheeling Anderson out and flips the stretcher over. Bully strips Anderson of his Aces & Eights cut and whips him with it. Bully then Piledrives Anderson the ramp!

Backstage ODB says a lot of things have changed over the last year but one thing that hasn’t change is she hasn’t had the Knockouts Title in over 3 years. ODB says she’s training hard and almost thought about stopping drinking, but then laughed and said next week she’s taking Mickie’s belt.

James Storm & Gunner are in the ring. Storm says it looks like he and Gunner are in the right place tonight and looking at his beer bottle he can’t help but think there is a lot of beer drinkers here tonight. He says he and Gunner were talking about sitting around and watching the BFG Series Finals and as much as he’d like to kick back and drink all night, but Gunner wants to fight so he figures they can do both. Storm says all they need is some opponents now and it doesn’t matter if its Bro-Mans or “Aces & Idiots” or Bad Influence because there are a lot of guys in the back that run their “bottle suckers” while what they need to do is “man up, step up, and drink up.”

Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez walk out and Chavo says if that’s the case then it won’t matter if they step up then. Chavo says Storm is a great tag team wrestler and he may be one half of one of the greatest tag teams of all time, but not THE greatest tag team of all time because THE greatest tag team of all time is whatever team Chavo is a part of. Chavo says Gunner is jacked and he is one of the strongest guys in TNA but not THE strongest guy because that’s Hernandez (that’s a shoot). Chavo says Gunner and Storm have been on a little losing streak so he thinks if there is a match between he & Hernandez against Gunner and Storm then their losing streak will continue because they’re the better tag team.

Gunner says it sounds like they’re pitching out a challenge so he’s got a challenge for them, next week Gunner & Storm vs. Hernandez & Chavo and if they win then maybe they’ll get a title shot. Gunner says if they ever put their nose in the champs business again then he’ll bash their faces with the belt.

Boxing style intros for this one. AJ and Magnus lockup but they stalemate in the center of the ring and back off. They lockup again and this time Magnus forces AJ into the corner. They break clean and then lockup yet again but AJ sidesteps him and gets Magnus sin a waistlock. AJ transitions into a side headlock but Magnus counters into a Back Suplex attempt, but AJ reverses it into a Side Headlock Takeover. Magnus fights back to his feet and shoves AJ into the ropes but AJ holds onto Magnus’ head. AJ uses the ropes to hit a Spinning Headlock Takeover. Magnus again fights up to his feet and AJ again uses the turnbuckles to go for a headlock takeover but Magnus blocks it and hits a Back Suplex for a nearfall. Magnus puts AJ in a headlock now but AJ fights it and breaks the hold with body shots. AJ hits the ropes and gets tossed into the lights with a backdrop for a nearfall. Magnus whips AJ into the corner and then charges at him but AJ sidesteps him and drop toe holds Magnus into the turnbuckles! AJ hits a snapmare takeover and then kicks Magnus in the back. AJ picks Magnus back up and tosses him into the turnbuckles. AJ hits a forearm smash followed by a series of shoulder blocks! AJ grabs Magnus but Magnus shoves him away and hits a big uppercut! Magnus attempts to whip AJ into the ropes but AJ reverses it and goes for a backdrop, but Magnus kicks him and hits the ropes again. AJ catches him with a forearm and then hits another snapmare. AJ goes for a Knee Drop but Magnus moves out of the way and hits a scoop slam followed by an elbow drop attempt. AJ moves out of the way and catches Magnus with an inside cradle! 1…2…NO Magnus kicks out! Suddenly Bad Influence hits the ring and jumps AJ & Magnus! Roode runs out and hits the Double-R Spinebuster on Magnus! Daniels hits the Angels Wings on AJ! Referees run out and get EGO out of the ring.

Back from the break Magnus hits AJ with a European Uppercut but AJ answers with a Leaping Enziguri out of nowhere! AJ goes for a clothesline but Magnus gets his boots up and then Magnus goes for a clothesline and AJ goes for a Spinning Clothesline at the same time! Both men are down again. Both get back to their feet and Magnus goes for a right hand but AJ blocks the shot and hits a big leg kick followed by a lariat and then a Spinning Heel Kick! AJ charges at Magnus in the corner but Magnus backdrops him over the top. AJ lands on the apron and forearms Magnus. AJ then goes for the Springboard Flying Forearm but eats the European Uppercut in midair! Magnus hits the MDD! 1…2…NO AJ kicks out! Magnus goes for the British Cloverleaf but AJ counters him into a Triangle Choke! Magnus lifts AJ into the air but AJ counters into a rollup! 1…2…NO Magnus kicks AJ in the head! Magnus goes for a lariat but AJ ducks it and hits the Pele! 1…2…3! AJ grabs Magnus and locks him in the Calf Killa! Magnus refuses to tap as he fights the hold and FINALLY gets to the ropes! AJ hits a Flying Clothesline in the corner and then attempts a spin kick but Magnus catches him in a Spinebuster! 1…2…NO AJ kicks out! Magnus lifts AJ up on the top rope and goes for a Superplex but AJ blocks it and knocks Magnus off the top. Magnus gets back up and forearms AJ. AJ forearms Magnus repeatedly but Magnus answers with an uppercut! Magnus climbs up with AJ and goes for a Superplex but AJ hits a series of nasty elbows! Magnus falls back and AJ hits the SPIRAL TAP! 1…2…3!

AJ grabs the microphone and says that he told everyone he would do it, and he did it right here in St. Louie. AJ says he couldn’t have done it without the fans but he has a longer response about what he said a few weeks ago. AJ says he didn’t get a call, a text, or even a tweet from Dixie Carter. AJ says he pointed out a lot of mistakes from the past 11 years, but Dixie needs to show up next week because if she thinks he pointed out a lot of mistakes a few weeks ago he’s about to bust out the biggest one next week. AJ says this is Dixie Carter’s wake up call.

9/5 Impact Wrestling Report: Aces and Eights Turn on Each Other, Final Four For Bound For Glory Series Set

Impact opens up with highlights from last week and then the members of BFG Series discuss the last chance Gauntlet for tonight. Hernandez says he realizes he can’t win but he can sure ruin someone else’s chances. Bradley says that a certain organization has paid him a lot of money to ruin a certain individual’s night. Park says he will do Park, Park, & Park proud tonight.

Aces & Eights music hits and Bully Ray leads the group down to the ring. Bully says he wants to start off tonight by telling the people something. He says that Aces & Eights are in total control, and his brothers are the best bunch that a president can have. He says he’s proud of each and every one of them because without them he would be nothing. Ray says they do everything together and though last week he might have been a little harsh towards them they’re past that now. Ray hugs each of them except for Anderson and tells Tito that the fans are just jealous of him as they chant “Tito sucks.” Ray looks over at Anderson and says that he is the best VP he could ask for and he has more love for Anderson than he had for his own brother Devon. They hug and Ray says they’re taking care of business tonight by Knux destroying Chris Sabin later tonight and then Wes & Garett are going to beat the Tag Team Champions. Ray then says that his buddy Anderson is going to win the Gauntlet and get into the Final Four. Ray says he’s going to beat Sting up just like he did at Slammiversary.

Ray says everyone else can split but he is going to sit at ringside while Knux beats up Chris Sabin.

Chris Sabin vs. Knux w/Bully Ray & Miss Tessmacher

This is our first chance to see Sabin in the ring since he lost the World Title to Ray at Hardcore Justice. Sabin ducks a tieup attempt from the much bigger Knux and then leaps up and grabs him in a side headlock. Knux shoves him into the ropes and connects with a shoulder block. Knux taunts Sabin by holding up the A&8 symbol and then Sabin dares Knux to do a test of strength with him, but as Knux obliges Sabin kicks him in the gut. Sabin ducks a clothesline and then a hits a sliding dropkick to the leg of Knux. Sabin hits another dropkick to the knee. As Knux retreats to a corner Sabin comes charging at him with a Running Back Elbow. Sabin then ties Knux’s leg up in the ropes and twists it. Sabin dropkicks the knee again and then puts him in a Half Crab. Knux kicks him off and then walks into a kick to the knee from Sabin. Sabin lights up Knux with chops and kicks and then he hits the ropes but eats a nasty Cross Body from Knux! 1…2…NO Sabin kicks out! Knux puts the boots to Sabin and then hits a Shortarm Clothesline. Knux hits a second Shortarm Clothesline for another nearfall. Sabin fights back but eats a Big Boot as he bounces off the ropes. Knux then drops Sabin down across the top rope and chokes him in the ropes. Knux catapults Sabin throat first into the ropes and covers him for another nearfall. Knux puts Sabin in a chinlock but Sabin fights it off only for Knux to hit him in the ribs and then drop him with a Back Suplex. Knux climbs up top and dives off with a Guillotine Leg Drop! 1…2…NO Sabin kicks out again! Knux chokes Sabin in the ropes again and then he goes for a Running Body Guillotine, but Sabin moves out of the way. Sabin grabs Knux’s leg as it’s hanging in the ropes and hits a Dragon Screw Legwhip! Sabin climbs up top and dives off the top with a Missile Dropkick! Bully grabs a hammer from Taz and hands it to Knux, but Sabin dropkicks his knees out from under him. Sabin then grabs the hammer and nails Knux with it!

Winner: Knux via DQ

Sabin argues with the referee after he gets disqualified saying Knux is the one that brought it in. Sabin talks trash to Bully at ringside.

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

A replay of Sabin belting Knux with a hammer is shown. Backstage Sabin freaks out while Velvet Sky tries to console him. Velvet says he doesn’t need a hammer to win but Sabin says something has to chance and keeps saying “this is not right.” She says he’s better than that but Sabin says he’s not the one that brought the hammer in the ring. Sabin apologizes for yelling at her but says this is crap and walks away.

Mickie James comes out to the ring looking as good as ever. Mickie has some type of trophy in her hand. Mickie says that when she saw Cleveland, OH on her schedule she was excited, and says that it’s home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame which she will be in one day. Mickie says she decided to prepare an amazing performance for tonight and says she even had smoking monkeys. She says she was offended not being invited to the VMA’s but when who needs the VMA’s when you have the MJA’s and holds up the little trophy with her picture on it. She says the way the media treated her “good friend” Miley after her embarrassing performance at the VMA’s was pathetic. She says that Miley is just trying to come out of her shell and she understands what it feels like to be a massive star in the music world as well as the greatest Knockouts Champion in history. Mickie says apparently people don’t like the way “we twerk it” or at least the way Miley does it and she should have called Mickie before doing that.

ODB interrupts Mickie and asks if Mickie is really talking about Miley Cyrus in the home of Rock & Roll. ODB says the one thing that Mickie needs to be worrying about is ODB taking her title. Mickie says she’s a star and ODB isn’t and then she hits ODB from behind! Mickie taunts ODB with the title but then ODB clotheslines her! ODB picks up the belt and raises it over Mickie. Mickie pulls it away from ODB and tells her to never touch that title again. Mickie gets in ODB’s face and oDB kicks her and then snatches her shirt off. Mickie barely had a top on to begin with. ODB says Mickie will never be Rock & Roll and ODB is soon to be the champ.

Backstage JB is with the two men that will begin the Gauntlet, Jay Bradley & Hernandez. Bradley says there may not be a lot in the BFG Series may not have a lot for him to gain but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have any value. He says a particular organization made him an offer tonight and he’s not opposed to being business partners with Hernandez. Bradley tells Hernandez to think about it and then he walks away.

Bradley stops Hernandez as he gets in the ring and reminds him of his proposition and asks him if he’s down with the idea of joining forces to get rid of a certain person. Hernandez slaps Bradley and then chops him repeatedly. Hernandez hits a Corner Splash and then a shoulder block before lifting Bradley HIGH up in the ropes with a backdrop. The next man in is JOSEPH PARK! Park is accompanied by Eric Young to the ring. Bradley nails Park with a body shot and then starts beating on him in the corner. Bradley chokes Park and then tosses him into the opposite corner, but Park explodes out with a shoulder block. Park hits a shoulder block again and then hits the ropes but eats a back elbow from Bradley. Bradley tries to eliminate Park but Park lands on the apron and holds onto the ropes. Bradley sets up for the Boom Stick on Park but Hernandez destroys him with the Get Off Me! Hernandez tries to eliminate Bradley as the next man in is MR. ANDERSON. Anderson runs out and clotheslines Hernandez and then starts punching Park repeatedly on the apron.

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

During the break SAMOA JOE makes his entrance and destroys everyone in the ring. Back from the break AJ STYLES makes his entrance as the brawl continues in the ring. Styles hits the ring and DESTROYS Park with a Flying Forearm that sends both men over the ring. Park is ELIMIANTED but Styles saves himself and rolls back in the ring. Styles lays into Hernandez with chops and kicks and then hits him with a series of shoulder blocks in the corner. AJ whips Hernandez into Anderson in the corner and then starts stomping on Bradley. Joe tosses Anderson over the top but he lands on the apron. Joe forearms Anderson repeatedly but Anderson catches Joe with a jawbreaker onto the top rope to cut him off. Hernandez hits AJ with a big backdrop as Anderson rakes Joe’s eyes in the corner. The next man in is KAZARIAN. Kaz goes right after AJ and tries to eliminate him to no success. Joe destroys Anderson in the corner with chops and headbutts. Joe goes for the Muscle Buster but Anderson blocks it and fights Joe off. Anderson tries to headbutt Joe but he shrugs it off and kills Anderson with a Leaping Enziguri that knocks him off the top to the floor eliminating him! Kaz hits a Snap Suplex on AJ Styles and then Joe goes after Bradley. A replay shows Anderson’s head hitting the guardrail on the way down pretty hard. AJ hits a Back Suplex on Kazarian. The next man in is DANIELS! Bad Influence double teams AJ in one corner and then they do the same to Joe in the opposite corner. Kaz holds AJ as Daniels punches him repeatedly. Daniels rakes Joe’s eyes and then chokes him in the ropes. Daniels holds Joe as Kaz punches him. Bad Influence whips Joe into the ropes and attempt a double clothesline but Joe ducks it and DESTROYS them with a Double Clothesline of his own. Joe tosses Daniels over the top but Kaz grabs him and saves him from elimination. Bad Influence Double Hip Tosses Hernandez over the top eliminating him! The next man in is JEFF HARDY!

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Back from the break BOBBY ROODE makes his entrance. Roode comes in and saves Daniels from elimination and starts beating on Hardy. Bradley tries to eliminate AJ by throwing him over the top but AJ saves himself and then ducks a clothesline and Backdrops Bradley over the top eliminating him! Tenay wonders if Bradley was paid to try and eliminate AJ. EGO beat on the other three guys in the ring and Roode almost eliminates AJ until AJ started pulling on Roode’s ear. AJ hits the Phenomenal Dropkick on Kaz! The next man out is AUSTIN ARIES! Aries dives over the top onto Bad Influence with a Plancha! Roode hits Aries from behind and EGO starts to beat on him. Daniels tries to eliminate AJ but AJ holds onto the ropes while Hardy attempts to eliminate Roode. Joe and AJ take turns chopping Daniels. Roode tosses Aries over the top but Aries holds onto the ropes with his legs. The final entrance into the Gauntlet is MAGNUS! Magnus lays out each member of EGO and then catches a Cross Body attempt from Daniels and hits the Tormentum! Magnus tries to eliminate Daniels but Kaz stops him. Bad Influence almost eliminates Magnus but Joe pulls Magnus away and starts beating on Daniels and Kaz. Joe goes for a clothesline on Daniels but Daniels drops down and Joe goes over the top. Joe grabs the apron with his arm keeping him from going over but then Kaz runs over and flips Joe sending him over the top to eliminate him! Hardy tosses Kaz over the top but he holds onto the ropes and as Hardy tries to kick him off Roode grabs Hardy from behind and tosses him over the top eliminating him! That means unless Roode, Magnus, or Aries win this match then Hardy is likely knocked out of the Final Four. AJ uses his feet to catapult a charging Kaz over the top eliminating him! Magnus tries to eliminate Roode but Daniels saves Roode and shoves Magnus over the top eliminating him! The final four of this match is AJ, Daniels, Roode, and Aries. Daniels and Roode whip AJ into the ropes and then lay him out with a Double Back Elbow. Roode holds Aries as Daniels goes for a clothesline but Aries ducks and then lays Daniels out with the Roaring Elbow! Aries goes for the IED on Roode but Roode snatches him out of midair and dumps him over the top! Aries lands on the apron and hits a shoulder block through the ropes to Roode! AJ then comes flying out of nowhere leaping off the back of Roode into a Flying Forearm to Aries knocking him off the apron eliminating him! Roode charges at AJ but he drops down and Roode goes flying over the top eliminating him! It’s down to just AJ and Daniels! They exchange right hands and then AJ whips Daniels into the corner. AJ charges at Daniels but Daniels backdrops him. AJ lands on the apron and then hits the Springboard Flying Forearm! AJ clotheslines Daniels and then hits a back elbow and a spinning heel kick! AJ hits a neckbreaker over his knee and then goes for the Styles Clash, but Daniels blocks it and goes for a clothesline. AJ ducks and hits the Pele! AJ clotheslines Daniels over the top eliminating him!

Winner: AJ Styles

AJ wins 20 points moving him into first place and knocking Jeff Hardy out of the Final Four. AJ will be joined by Austin Aries, Magnus, and Bobby Roode in the Final Four at No Surrender.

Backstage Bully Ray bitches at Anderson saying he’s disgusted at Anderson and says there is a picture of Anderson in the dictionary next to “disappointment.” He says Knux won his match and Wes & Garett will win theirs. Bully asks Anderson what he’s done for the club lately and Anderson screams at him that he’s been busting his ass for the club. Ray reminds Anderson that he’s the president which means he’s above Anderson. Ray says he saw what Ray did to his own brother and then asks Anderson what makes him think he won’t hit him with a beer bottle and then a rip the colors off his vest and piss on them. Ray tells Anderson not to forget who he is and to fall in line. He tells Anderson not to disappoint him again ever.

AJ says he gets to pick who he can wrestle in the Final Four and says that he is a leader. AJ says he will win the BFG Series and he’s going to face Bully Ray and take everything that he has.

Sting and Rampage talk backstage about Sting never getting another World Title shot again. Sting says he owes a Bully a thank you for doing what he did because it made him realize he needed a family. Sting says he’s confident he can take Bully out tonight because his family has his back. Sting says that he’s been on a “rampage” for a lot of years and now they can go on a rampage together.

Gunner & “Cowboy” James Storm vs. Aces & Eights (Wes Brisco & Garett Bischoff)

Wes and Garett attack the champs on the ramp. Storm tosses Garett over the top into the ring while Gunner and Brisco brawl at ringside. Storm tosses Bischoff out of the ring and they start brawling at ringside as well. Storm slams Bischoff into the guardrail and then pours beer all over him as Gunner tosses Brisco into the apron and then clotheslines him. Storm tosses Bischoff into the ring and Gunner comes in as well. The champs whip Bischoff into the corner and then Storm whips Gunner into a clothesline on Bischoff. Storm hits a Bulldog on Bischoff for a nearfall. Storm hits a Scoop Slam and then hits a Knee Drop for another nearfall. Storm goes for a Suplex but Brisco hits him from behind. Bischoff clotheslines Storm and then puts the boots to him. Garett hits a series of shoulder blocks on Storm in the corner. Brisco holds his foot up as Garett slams Storm into it. Wes tags in and then whip Storm into the corner and then Bischoff whips Storm into a clothesline from Brisco for a nearfall. Wes hits the ropes and charges at Storm but Storm gets his boot up and then goes for a clothesline but Brsico catches him with an elbow and grabs Storm’s arm and falls over the top rope into a Hanging Armbar! Bischoff slams Storm to the mat by his hair and Brisco covers him for a nearfall. Brisco slaps Storm repeatedly upside the head and then goes for a Scoop Slam but Storm blocks it and hits the Backstabber in desperation! Storm reaches for the tag but Brisco grabs his boot to stop him. Storm kicks him away and tags in Gunner as Brisco tags in Bischoff as well. Gunner hits a clothesline on Bischoff followed by a back elbow and then a headbutt. Gunner hits a Running Knee followed by a Uranage Backbreaker! 1…2…NO Brisco breaks it up! Storm comes in and whips Brisco into the corner. Storm charges at Brisco but gets backdropped over the top. Storm lands on the apron and then hits a Leaping Enziguri to the back of Brisco! Gunner catapults Bischoff into a Spike DDT from Storm which is a move Beer Money used to do. Gunner covers Bishcoff for a nearfall. Gunner lifts Bischoff up into the air as Storm sets up for their finish, but Wes trips him from the outside. Wes slams him into the ring post and then forearms Gunner in the face as Bischoff rolls him up! 1…2…NO Gunner kicks out! Brisco brings in one of the tag belts but the referee stops him. Gunner knocks Brisco out of the ring but as the referee is doing away with the belt Bischoff hits him from behind with a chain! 1….2…3!

Roode, Magnus, and Aries are in the ring and then AJ Styles makes his entrance. Because AJ has the most points he gets to pick who his opponent is in the Final Four. AJ gets in Roode’s face but then goes over to Aries and gets in his face as well. AJ says that Aries is the biggest blemish on his BFG Series matches and says he was the one guy AJ didn’t want to lose to. Aries says “but ya’ did” and AJ says that’s right which is why he picks Aries to face in the Final Four. Aries says he’s not big on making predictions and he doesn’t make promises he can’t keep. Aries says there will be a winner when they face each other… and that’s the fans. He wishes AJ luck and then Roode snatches the microphone from JB.

Roode says a wise man once said “I love when a plan comes together” and there is a reason he aligned himself with Daniels and Kaz. He says there is a reason EGO became a group and it was this reason, to get into the Final Four. He says he’s in the Final Four and as far as he’s concerned he’s facing the weakest link. He says that Magnus may have beaten him early in the tournament but he is a different man and next week will be a different week. Roode says he will walk into BFG as the BFG Series winner and take back his World Title. Roode and Magnus stare each other down and then Magnus takes the microphone away.

Magnus says they earned their points at each other’s expense but the difference is he didn’t need a couple of muppets to help him win his points. He says he did it himself and Roode may have forgotten the fact that he has a family so the playing field will be even because he has the MEM while Roode has EGO. Magnus says he will go through Roode and then Aries or AJ and go onto BFG to become the World Champion for the first time in his career.

Bully comes out to the ring with Tito, Tessmacher, and Anderson, and espite members of A&8 being with Bully, Sting comes out alone. JB does boxing style intros. Bully grabs the microphone and reminds Sting that this is Non-Title and asks Sting if he remembers Slammiversary and the fact that he beat Sting so now he can never get another shot at the belt again. Ray says “screw you and screw your best friend Hogan” but then Hulk Hogan walks out onto the stage. Hogan says that as of now Tito Ortiz is banned from ringside and then has security escort Tito out. Bully bitches about that ruling and then he changes the match to No DQ!

Bully Ray w/Miss Tessmacher & Mr. Anderson vs. “The Icon” Sting

Sting attacks Ray at the bell with a Stinger Splash and then tosses him over the top to the floor. Sting hits Bully with a chair as we go to a break.

----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Sting continues to hit Bully with the chair beating him all around ringside. Bully rolls back in the ring and Sting follows him with the chair, but as he goes to hit Bully with it Bully low blows him. Bully then Splashes Sting for a nearfall. Bully chases the referee away with the chair and then hits Sting with it. Bully slams Sting on top of the chair and then goes out to the floor and grabs something from Taz. It’s a box cutter which allows Bully to cut away the ring apron and then pull up the canvas. Bully hits Sting with the chair again and then continues pulling up the ring canvas. Bully taunts the crowd which allows Sting to recover and trip Bully and lock in the Scorpion Death Lock! Bischoff runs out and attacks Sting from behind. Brisco and Knux run out as well and beat on Sting. Samoa Joe leads the rest of MEM out to the ring and the brawl is on! MEM clears the ring leaving just Sting and Bully in the ring as they fight up the ramp. Sting goes for the Stinger Splash but Bully moves and goes for the Piledriver on the exposed boards, but Sting blocks it and backdrops Ray! Sting avoids a splash and then goes for the Stinger Death Drop onto the exposed board, but Ray holds onto the ropes to block it. Bully goes for a Big Boot but Sting ducks it and then locks in the Scorpion again! Anderson pulls out his hammer and starts to hand it to Ray but holds it just out of reach and then laughs throws it to the referee. Bully taps!

Winner: Sting via submission (Scorpion Death Lock)

Sting looks on in shock at Anderson as Tessmacher checks on Bully.

Anderson taunts Bully asking him why he couldn’t win on his own while holding the World Title. Anderson asks Bully, mockingly, if he knows who he is and then says he’s the guy that faces Bully next week for the belt! Anderson says he’s Bully’s worst nightmare and the next champion….MISTERRRRRRRR ANDERSON….ANDERSON!

Xplosion Match: Eric Young beat Jay Bradley

Impact:
After this match Mickie James came out and talked about being bummed she didn't get invited to the VMA's, but as a consolation she had a MJA award (small star trophy). ODB comes out and things begin to heat up. ODB turns her back to Mickie and get's nailed with the trophy. Minor fight breaks out in the ring, and eventually ODB gets the better of the exchange and tears Mickie's t-shirt off (which revealed another top underneath that was obvious from the get go).

Then we get all of Ace's and Eights back in the Ring. Bully complains about Hogan's power trip at the end of Impact, and then announces that the A&8 are gonna take care of business tonight. Knox is going to face Chris Sabin, Bischoff and Briscoe will face James Storm and Gunner, and Anderson will take care of business in the "gauntlet" match.

Knox stays in the ring, Bully stays at ringside, and out comes Sabin for what I assume will be the first match. Eventually Bully tosses the hammer into Knox and distracts the ref, however Sabin kicks Knox to gain control of the hammer and nails Knox with it. Ref saw the strike, and DQ's Sabin.

Next up was the "gauntlet" match. I use the quotes because the match was a mini Royal Rumble, not a traditional gauntlet match. Every 90 seconds or so the next person on the leader board comes in (match started with Hernandez and Jay Bradley). This was a very long and entertaining match. Some of the highlights of the match included Samoa Joe eliminating Anderson with a head kick while Anderson was sitting on turnbuckle. He took a nasty fall to the floor, and ref's called for medical. He walked off on his own a little woozy, and you could see he was bleeding from the back of his head. A lot of big names were eliminated earlier than I would've expected (namely Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, and Magnus who was there for the second episode). Final two in the match were AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, with AJ picking up the win after hitting him with the Pele kick. AJ finishes the Bound for Glory Series in first place!

Next up was the tag team match between Storm and Gunner vs. Briscoe and Bischoff. By now the crowd was getting burned out and a little quiet. A&8 won the match after Gunner took a shot to the back of the head with some brass knuckles by Bischoff I believe. Post match A&8 gestured and continued to yell about coming after the tag belts.

After this match they brought out the final four in the Bound for Glory series, AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Magnus, and Bobby Roode. AJ was allowed to choose his first opponent for No Surrender, and he chooses Austin Aries. That leaves Magnus and Bobby Roode in the second semifinal match.

They showed us a quick clip from the back (our first of the second taping) of Bully riding Anderson for losing the Bound for Glory series. He tells him that everyone else is stepping up, and it's time for him to do his part.

Main event time as Sting comes out to the loudest pop of this episode. Bully is next accompanied by Brooke, Tito Ortiz, and Anderson. Bully gets on the mike and says that there is no way he's defending the title against Sting, because he lost that right at Slammiversary. Out comes Hogan who never mentions the title implication, but tosses Tito out (yet allows Anderson to stay) and says that the match is no DQ. Another long, solid match from these two. Sting nailed Bully with a steel chair numerous times at one point, and Bully once again removed the ring apron in one corner (similar to Slammiversary). Sting has Bully in Scorpion Death Lock when the rest of A&8 hit the ring. Out comes the Mafia to take care of them, and the match is once again 1 on 1 (keep in mind Anderson has done nothing but sit at ringside the entire time). Sting once again gets Bully in the Death Lock, and Anderson jumps up with hammer in hand. Bully reaches for the hammer, but Anderson doesn't give it to him forcing Bully to tap out. Sting wins the match! Anderson jumps in the ring, gets in Bully's face and asks why he didn't take care of business tonight, then announces that at No Surrender he is challenging Bully for the title, and it will belong to Mrrrrr. Annnnnndersonnnnn!!!!! Andersonnn!! Good ending, and the crowd was very much in Mr. Anderson's corner at the end.

Following the Impact taping they repaired the ring for a final Xplosion match between Kaz and Hernandez (as the crowd filed out). Match was eventually won by Hernandez (I believe. Kind of a blur right now).

8/29 Impact Wrestling Results

Live from the Cleveland Impact Wrestling heads down the homestretch toward the finals of the BFG Series. Impact opens up with highlights from last week and then Bully Ray leads Tito Ortiz and the Aces and Eights down to the ring.

Bully says that he’s in a bad mood tonight because someone is missing in the ring right now. His brother Devon is no longer with them and he’s a little concerned and upset. Bully says he wants some answers right now and he would like to hear from his brothers. Bully asks Garett Bischoff what happened last week and he says he doesn’t know. Garett says he’s just as mad about this as Bully is and then Knux says he was taking care of both Magnus and Rampage on the floor when it went down.

Wes says he doesn’t know what happened and then Bully looks over at Mr. Anderson and asks him what happened. Anderson says he doesn’t know either but Devon knew what the consequences were just like the rest of them, and “it is what it is.” Bully agrees with Anderson and says what it is, is a disappointment. Bully says his brother has always been a disappointment and a loser. He says Devon has always been his sidekick from the beginning. He says Devon did what he told him to do and he never needed Devon nor will he ever need him in the future. Bully points at Tito and says that’s the only man he needs. Anderson doesn’t look too thrilled at that. Bully says “out with Devon, in with Tito.” Bully says he’s giving Tito is own cut and Anderson freaks out.

Anderson asks Bully if he’s out of his mind and asks when they started just patching people in whenever he feels like it. Bully tells him to back down and reminds him that he’s the president. Bully says he’ll do what he wants, when he wants and Anderson better remember that. He tells Anderson to get back in line before he has to PUT him back in line. Bully calls Brooke Tessmacher out to the ring and she obliges as Bully calls her “the hot Brooke.”

Tessmacher is carrying a A&8 cut to the ring with her. Bully offers the cut to Tito but Anderson gets in Bully’s face and tells him they have to vote. Bully backs Anderson down and tells him to “stay.” Bully then puts the cut on Tito’s back and then Bully strips the “Devon” patch off the cut and throws it down. Bully tells any of the members of A&8 if that they have a problem with what just happened then they can leave. He says he’s the president and he voted on it so it’s done. Bully says now he’s going to sit back and relax and watch the rest of the BFG Series because he doesn’t have to do anything until BFG.

Bully says he heard that his father-in-law is here tonight and he can’t wait to see Hulk tonight because what he wants to do is introduce him to the only Brooke that has ever mattered in his life.

Tenay and Taz hype up the card for tonight featuring several BFG Series bouts.

Backstage Jeff Hardy says last year he had to beat Samoa Joe to get to the Final Four, and to get there he got desperate and had to use a submission. He said he worked and now he has to face Kazarian to try and get to the final four. He reminds us that Kaz won the Ladder Match that Hardy was also involved in at Hardcore Justice and he says tonight he’s out for points and revenge.

BFG Series Match 
“The Charismatic Enigma” (24) vs. Kazarian (22)

Both Kaz and Hardy really need a submission (10 points) here to get a true shot of making the Final Four. A pin would put both right there in the Final Four but definitely want guarantee anything. Kaz quickly rolls Hardy up as the bell rings but gets just a one count. Hardy then catches Kaz with a small package for a one count. Kaz comes back with a rollup of his own but just a two count on that one. Hardy answers with a leg sweep for a nearfall. Kaz and Hardy stare each other down and square off again. As Hardy goes in for a lockup Kaz pops him with a forearm instead. Kaz whips Hardy into the corner but Hardy floats up into a Spinning Headscissors Takeover sending Kaz out to the floor! Hardy then hits a Slingshot Dropkick through the ropes followed by a Flying Clothesline off the apron to the outside! Hardy tosses Kaz back in the ring and then goes for the Twist, but Kaz blocks it and shoves Hardy into the corner again. Hardy goes to the well for a second attempting to the Floatover Headscissors, but this time Kaz blocks it and crotches Hardy on the ropes. Kaz then hits a Leaping Enziguri and mocks Hardy’s weirdo dance. Kaz hits Hardy repeatedly with right hands and then whips Hardy into the ropes. Kaz hits a Heel Kick and gets another nearfall. Kaz puts Hardy in a modified Surfboard but Hardy fights the hold and breaks it. Hardy elbows Kaz repeatedly but then Kaz grabs him by the hair and slams him to the mat. Kaz puts the boots to Hardy and then hits a Leg Drop for another nearfall. Kaz goes for a Vertical Suplex but Hardy blocks it and reverses it into a Sitout Front Suplex! Hardy hits a series of right hands and kicks and then hits the ropes and catches Kaz with a Flying Forearm! Hardy hits an Atomic Drop followed by a Leg Drop to the balls. Hardy then puts Kaz in a Figure Four in the center of the ring! Kaz tries to fight the hold and is able to get to the ropes to break the hold. Hardy goes for the Twist again but Kaz catches Hardy in a backslide out of nowhere! 1…2…NO Hardy kicks out and then runs right into a Bicycle Kick! 1…2…NO Hardy kicks out again! Kaz is selling the leg as he gets to his feet as if it’s hurting. Kaz attempts to whip Hardy into the corner but Hardy reverses it and charges at Kaz. Kaz gets his boot up and then climbs up top. Kaz dives off the top but Hardy catches him with a boot in midair! Hardy hits the Twist of Fate and then climbs up top! Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb! 1…2…3!

Jeff Hardy has officially moved into the Final Four, for the time being.

Anderson and the rest of A&8 bitch about what Bully just did with Tito. Anderson says if this keeps up then they’re going to have to make a vote that Bully won’t be happy about. He says no one man is bigger than the club.

Gail Kim vs. ODB

ODB and Gail lockup with Gail tripping ODB up, Gail rolls forward into a bridging pin for a nearfall. Gail then goes for a rollup but ODB blocks it and hits a shoulder block for a nearfall of her own. ODB whips Gail into a corner and charges at her, but Gail escapes through the ropes. Gail then hits a shoulder block through the ropes on ODB followed by a Slingshot Sunset Flip. ODB blocks it and then lifts Gail up in the air by her throat. ODB tosses Gail into the turnbuckles and then hits a Delayed Vertical Suplex for another nearfall. ODB attempts to whip Gail into the corner but Gail reverses it and charges at ODB. ODB floats up into a headscissors on Gail but Gail blocks it the takeover attempt and slams ODB knee first into the mat. Gail smiles realizing the knee injury and quickly puts the boots to ODB’s knee. Gail looks for some type of submission but ODB uses her free leg to kick Gail into the turnbuckles! ODB rolsl Gail up, 1…2…NO Gail kicks out! Gail then grabs ODB’s leg and trips her and slams Gail’s knee into the mat. Gail elbow drops the knee and then drags her leg out to the apron and slams it into the side of the ring. Gail climbs back in the ring and kicks the leg of ODB as she tried to comeback. Gail puts ODB in a modified Cloverleaf and sits back on the hold forcing ODB to tap! Gail wins fall one!

Back from the break Gail continues to work on ODB’s leg. She hangs it up in the ropes and cannonballs down across it. Gail taunts the crowd and then charges at ODB in the corner. ODB gets her foot up but Gail catches it and slams it down across her own shoulder. Gail then goes to put that same modified Cloverleaf on ODB but ODB catches her with an inside cradle out of nowhere! 1…2…3! ODB evens things up winning fall two!

Gail gets pissed and starts kicking the hell out of ODB’s leg and then she puts ODB in a kneebar. Gail slams ODB’s leg into the mat and then drags her legs over to the corner. Gail wraps ODB’s legs around the ring post in the Hanging Figure Four! Gail finally releases the hold as the referee yells at her and climbs back in the ring. A big “ODB” chant starts as Gail stalks ODB in the ring. Gail slaps her repeatedly and taunts her. Gail grabs ODB’s leg but ODB grabs her top and pulls Gail into the turnbuckle headfirst. ODB fights back from her knees with forearms to Gail. ODB finally gets back to her feet and levels Gail with a Shortarm Clothesline! 1…2…NO Gail kicks out! ODB goes for the BAM but her knee gives out and Gail chop blocks the knee and locks her in an over the shoulder Half Crab. ODB is able to fight to the ropes to break the hold. Gail goes for the Eat Defeat but ODB blocks it into the BAM attempt again. Gail reverses into a rollup but ODB rolls through and puts Gail in a Texas Cloverleaf! Gail almost gets to the ropes but ODB pulls her back to the center of the ring and Gail taps!

Backstage Velvet Sky says she’s rooting for ODB in her title shot, and she talks about being so excited for the Knockouts PPV debuting next Friday. Velvet says she had some personal issues at home she had to take care of and creepy camera guy if those issues were “like heartbreak Chris Sabin type of issues.” Velvet says she and Sabin have been together for quite awhile, but they keep business and personal separate.

Backstage Daniels and Roode talk about Hogan trying to screw them over tonight putting them in their matches. Roode says he has an opportunity to solidify his attempt to be in the Final Four with a win over “everyone’s little hero” AJ Styles. Roode says he’ll take care of AJ but Daniels has to take care of Aries. Daniels gets pissed about Aries turning on them last week and he says, “he’s no gentleman.”

Backstage Aries says everyone knows that he is a man that stands alone and he believes that if you want something done right you do it yourself. Aries reminds us he turned MEM down too and he says he’s relying on himself to get to the final four. Aries says he hopes AJ’s decision to help MEM out benefits him and he hopes AJ gets to the finals because when he and AJ are in the ring together it’s magic. Daniels walks up and gets in Aries’ face.

Daniels says he made his biggest mistake by turning down the “Gentlemen” and he’s going to show Aries just how much better he is than Aries when he knocks Aries “down flatter than Miley Cyrus’ ass” (BIG POP FROM ME!).

The Main Event Mafia make their way down to the ring. Magnus isn’t with MEM. Rampage Jackson is still wearing his redneck looking camo suit. Rampage says he isn’t waiting for their fight in BELLATOR to get his revenge on Tito. He says every chance he gets he’s stomping a mudhole in Tito’s ass.

Samoa Joe says he can tell that the Mafia runs Cleveland. He says a week ago things weren’t going their way and outnumbered, and when Sting went to the boys no one stepped up. He says that is until one man stepped up to the plate and did the right thing, AJ Styles.

Sting says AJ Styles put his career on the line to go into battle with MEM, and anyone willing to do that is worthy of being a part of the family. Sting says the door is open for him to have a spot in the family. Sting says no matter what they want to thank him publicly. Sting leads the fans in an “AJ” chant.

AJ’s loner music hits and he walks down the ramp and then he pulls the hoodie off and “Get Ready to Fly” hits. AJ has cut his hair and shaved the scruffy beard off as well. AJ says he appreciates what MEM is saying as another “AJ” chant breaks out. He says he needs to do this thing himself and MEM leaves AJ alone in the ring.

AJ says he knows the fans have questions for him and he has the answers. AJ says he knows after Thursday the biggest question on everyone’s mind was is he the newest MEM member. AJ says he respects what MEM is doing and he hopes they kick A&8’s butt. He says he’s wore the suit and tie before (Fortune) and it’s just not him. AJ says over the past year he’s developed some trust issues like when two of his best friends stabbed in the back, or like when guys in the production truck airing his dirty laundry without even checking with him to see if it was even true. AJ says maybe it was just everyone telling him that this is just the way the business is and the only person he can trust is himself. AJ says if he hasn’t made himself clear, he is with no one.

AJ says everyone has been asking him why he’s changed and everyone’s perception of him may have changed but that’s because his perception of the business has changed. AJ says that you can make no mistake about it, he is the best in the world and he is “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles! AJ says he loves what he does in the ring he has to understand that this is just a job. AJ says everyone might know where he’s coming from as a big “yes” chant breaks out. AJ says it sounds like the fans know what it’s like having a job that just plain sucks. AJ says no matter what job it is most people have had that moment when “upper management” shafts the hardest working man in the building. AJ says he’s realized over the last year he deserves better and then looks over at Mike Tenay and says “hey, Mike I deserve better!” AJ looks into the camera and says, “hey Dixie, I deserve better!”

AJ says he has been Dixie Carter’s “go to guy” for the better part of 11 years for her to simply bring in “the next big star” just to watch that person fail. AJ says it might have been the “new direction” she tried to go into that went nowhere and there he was to pick up the pieces again and put the company right back on his shoulders. AJ says there has been so many times over the past year that he prayed to God that Dixie would just fire him so he didn’t have to quit, but he stayed and did his job the whole time because like most of the people in the crowd he has a family and he has to take care of them. AJ says he didn’t quit and he started coming to the ring and tapping people out.

AJ says something happened in his head and something clicked. AJ says he LIKES being TNA’s “go to guy” and the guy that can steal the show and deliver the goods. AJ says he likes being the guy that can send the fans home happy because they got their money’s worth. He says he likes being the “go to guy” but the question is can he still be that guy. “You better believe it” AJ says and he says “you’re damn right” he can put the company on his back again. AJ says now the question is if he can win the BFG Series and become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion! Roode’s music interrupts AJ and he comes down to the ring for the next BFG Series match up!

BFG Series Match 
“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles (22) vs. “The IT Factor” Bobby Roode

Any type of win here likely sures up a spot for Roode while AJ needs a submission win to get any shot at being in the Final Four. AJ and Roode lockup and Roode gets AJ in a hammerlock. AJ counters into a wristlock and then he hooks Roode’s leg and rolls him into the Calf Killa but Roode quickly grabs the ropes. Roode rolls out to the floor to get away from AJ. Back in the ring Roode kicks AJ as they go for another lockup. Roode hits AJ with an elbow and then slams him into the turnbuckles. Roode lights AJ up with chops and then attempts to whip AJ into the ropes, but AJ reverses it and then leapfrogs Roode. AJ looks for the Phenomenal Dropkick but Roode saw it coming and holds onto the ropes. AJ charges at Roode but runs right into an elbow. Roode then charges at AJ but eats a nasty chop! AJ whips Roode into the ropes and connects with the Phenomenal Dropkick! Roode rolls out to the floor and then he springboards himself over the top to the ramp and then he Moonsaults off the ramp onto Roode on the floor! AJ tosses Roode back into the ring and then hits a Backbreaker and locks Roode in a Camel Clutch! AJ lets the hold go and then puts Roode in a chinlock, but Roode gets to his feet and backs AJ into the corner. Roode then charges at AJ but AJ gets his boot up and climbs to the top. AJ attempts a Tornado DDT but Roode blocks it and hits the Double-R Spinebuster! Roode puts the boots to AJ and then hits a Knee Drop for a nearfall. Roode puts his knee in the back of AJ and then hits a Vertical Suplex. 1…2…NO AJ kicks out! Roode puts his knee into the back of AJ repeatedly and then puts him in a modified surfboard. AJ fights back up to his feet and breaks the hold and elbows Roode repeatedly. AJ and Roode exchange strikes and then Roode goes for a big right hand. AJ kicks his hand away and connects with a vicious series of strikes ending with the Spinning Back Fist and a Lariat! Roode retreats to the corner and AJ hits a Flying Forearm and then he climbs up top. Roode sees him and charge at AJ but AJ leaps over him and lands on his feet. AJ then hits a Spinebuster of his own and hits a Lionsault. AJ actually landed pretty hard on his shoulder because for some reason he hesitated just a hair on the moonsault. I don’t know if he thought maybe Roode was too far at the last minute. He did connect with but he came close to hitting his head. AJ realizes he needs more points so he goes for a submission, but Roode kicks him away and then charges at him with a clothesline. AJ ducks it and hits the Pele out of nowhere! AJ calls for the Styles Clash but Roode blocks it and backdrops AJ over the top rope! AJ lands on his feet on the ramp and then hits Roode with a shoulder block through the ropes! AJ goes for the Springboard Flying Forearm but Roode catches him in midair with the Crossface! That was a beautiful sequence. AJ fights the hold and gets his feet on the bottom rope to break it. Roode pulls AJ back to the center of the ring and locks in the Crossface again! AJ rolls Roode over into a pin, 1…2…NO Roode kicks out! AJ then gets to his feet and rolls Roode into the Calf Killa as he charged at him! Roode gets to the ropes to break the hold as it seemed like he was about to tap. AJ pulls Roode back to the center and looks like he’s going to go for the Figure Four, but Roode kicks him into the turnbuckles. Roode then goes for the Payoff but AJ counters into a cradle! 1…2…3!

Winner: AJ via pinfall (rollup)

After the match AJ looks disappointed as he realizes the pin isn’t going to get him into the Final Four. Tenay points out that it was likely instinct to go for the pin there. With that pin AJ moves up to fifth place with 29 points but Daniels remains in fourth place with 30. Hardy, Roode, and Magnus round out the Final Four. So now it comes down to Daniels and Aries.

“A-Double” Austin Aries (28) vs. “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels (30)

Any win or even a draw keeps Daniels in the Final Four while Aries needs at least a pin. Daniels is wearing some weird goggles, like welding goggles or something. Daniels and Aries lockup and Daniels forces Aries into the corner. Daniels hits a series of shoulder blocks and then puts Aries in a headlock. Aries shoves Daniels into the ropes but eats a shoulder block as Daniels bounces back. Daniels hits the ropes again and Aries drops down in front of him. Daniels cartwheels over Aries and when Aries gets back to his feet Daniels meets him with a scoop slam. Daniels gets a one count and then rubs his forearm on Aries’ face before tossing him into the corner. Daniels whips Aries into the opposite corner and charge at him, but Aries floats up and over Daniels. Aries then rakes the back of Daniels and then rakes his chest too. Aries trips Daniels and then goes for the Last Chancery but Daniels crawls away. Aries mocks Daniels by laying across the top turnbuckle. Daniels runs after him but Aries drops down to the apron and his a shoulder block through the ropes. Aries then slingshots back into the ring and leapfrogs Daniels before connecting with an armdrag. Aries locks Daniels in an armbar but Daniels uses his legs to break the hold by putting Aries in a headscissors. Aries does a headstand to escape the hold and hits a Basement Dropkick for a nearfall. Aries sets up for something but Daniels rolls out to the floor. Aries goes for a Baseball Slide but Daniels moves out of the way and punches Aries. Daniel slams Aries into the apron and then goes for the Split Legged Moonsault off the top but Aries slides into the ring. Daniels lands on his feet and Aries flies through the ropes with the Heat Seeking Missile, but Daniels catches Aries in midair with a Leaping Enziguri as Aries went through the ropes! Back in the ring Daniels covers Aries for a nearfall.

Back from the break Daniels hits a Split Legged Moonsault on Aries for another nearfall. Daniels hits a Reverse Bulldog for yet another nearfall. Daniels puts Aries in a chinlock but Aries fights back up to his feet and breaks the hold with elbows. Aries hits the ropes but Daniels gets Aries in an Abdominal Stretch. Daniels goes old school reaching out to the top rope for leverage but Aries reverses the hold and pulls the same heel move. Daniels goes for a Uranage Suplex but Aries counters with an armdrag and then they both hit the ropes and clothesline each other. Both men get to their feet and Daniels hits a series of jabs on Aries. Aries fights back with a DISGUSTING chop and then a series of forearms and body shots! Aries with another chop and then he whips Daniels into the corner and hits a Running Clothesline followed by a Back Suplex Slam! Aries pulls out the Pendulum Elbow! 1…2…NO Daniels kicks out! Aries goes for the Brainbuster but Daniels runs him into the corner. Daniels then hits the ropes and charges at Aries but Aries hip tosses him over the top to the floor! Aries hits the Heat Seeking Missile through the ropes onto Daniels on the floor! Aries rolls Daniels back in the ring and then climbs up top but Daniels grabs the referee to stop Aries from diving. Daniels shoves the referee away and charges at Aries but Aries dives over him and lands on his feet. Aries then charges at Daniels but runs right into a Spinning Sitout Powerbomb! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out! Daniels puts Aries on the top rope and hits an uppercut followed by an attempt at the Fall from Grace, but Aries blocks it and boxes the ears of Daniels. Aries dives off the top with a Missile Dropkick! Aries hits the IED on Daniels in the corner followed by an attempt at the Brainbsuter, but Daniels reverses it into the Last Rites! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out! Daniels can’t believe that Aries kicked out and starts showing frustration. Aries and Daniels exchange forearms in the center of the ring but then as Aries attempts the Roaring Elbow Daniels hits a Big Boot. Daniels then hits an uppercut and hits the ropes but Aries is right behind him with a dropkick! Aries hits the Brainbuster! 1…2…3!

Winner: Aries via pinfall (Brainbuster)

Austin Aries moves into the Final Four while also knocking Daniels out of it! Magnus, Aries, Roode, and Hardy are now the official Final Four.

In the back Bobby Roode talks to Tito Ortiz and Miss Tessmacher. He says sometimes he feels about making a mockery of Hogan and his family but then he snaps back into it and laughs. Ray says he needs Tito to watch Anderson and if he steps out of line he should knock him back into line.

Hulk Hogan makes his way down to the ring and gets a loud reaction. Hogan says it sounds like everyone missed him but he’s been taking care of business the last couple of weeks. Hogan says the wrestlers have been tearing it up in the ring but it’s great to be back tonight. Hogan name drops Michael Jordan (talking about the shoes he’s wearing) so I guess maybe Hulk thinks Jordan is from Cleveland. He’s not, in fact Michael Jordan was long known for breaking Cleveland’s heart year after year.

Hogan says his first order of business is the BFG Series and then the standings appear on the big screen. Hogan says he’s changed the game now for September 12th. He met with Spike TV executives and BFG Series deserves one more match before No Surrender so next week is a Gauntlet Battle Royal worth 20 points! Every single member of the BFG Series will be in it and with a win in that match will have a shot at getting into the Final Four. Well, except for Jay Bradley because even if he won he hilariously wouldn’t even crack the top 8.

Before Hogan can say anything else Bully Ray walks out and interrupts him along with Brooke Tessmacher. Bully mockingly calls Hogan “dad” and says he’s missed Hulk over the last couple of weeks. Ray holds the belt in his face and says a lot has changed since he’s been gone. Bully says what he’s been waiting to do is introduce him to Brooke, but Hogan cuts him off and he can shut it down right there. Hogan says he’s watched Ray’s charade and since he’s been gone he’s been taking care of personal business along with wrestling business. Hogan says after a little bit of time and a whole lot of money he has a set of divorce papers from Brooke Hogan for him and throws it at Bully. Hulk says Brooke Hogan is moving on without him whether he likes it or not.

Bully steps on the papers and kicks them away. He laughs and asks if he really thinks that Bully cares about those papers or his daughter. Bully says he never cared about Hogan’s daughter and he did something else no other man has done to his daughter, he used her. Bully says he used her to get the World Title and he used Hulk and Sting and all the idiot fans to get exactly what he wants. Bully says he also has Tito Ortiz and A&8 and now he’s on cruise control because he doesn’t have to do anything until BFG.

Hogan asks Bully if HE knows who Hogan is and then reminds him that he’s the TNA GM. Hogan says he’s going to use Bully and his family the same way Bully used his family. Hogan says in two weeks Bully is going to defend the World Title against one of the A&8 members! Bully screams at Hogan that he can’t do that and he says he isn’t fighting any of his brothers.
