Former TNA Performer Returning (SPOILERS)

According to reports Bully Ray has been backstage at the Impact tapings this week and is expected to make his official return to the company tonight. It is said that this will be a full time return to the company.

Opinionated View- To Bully's credit he's always been very over and was a big part of TNA. I'm excited to see what he does in his comeback. Of course Bully is dating Velvet Sky and has friends so he could just be visiting.

Update on Bully Ray and Velvet Sky's TNA Staus

According to the word going around backstage, Bully Ray’s recent appearance on Impact was said to be a one-shot deal. Ray has not signed a new contract with the company.

– The belief backstage is that Velvet Sky is reportedly back with TNA on a regular basis. Sky was previously written off TV after her contract expired last January when she was fired after opening the fired briefcase from a Feast or Fired match. She was not in the match, but Robbie E acquired the briefcase and transferred ownership to Sky.

Opinionated View- I'm torn on Bully. On the one hand the guy has had some great moments. Hell even last night I was looking forward to the potential Bully vs. EY feud or maybe Bully vs. Bram. But Bully is an older guy he's been in TNA a long time him not being around opens the door for other talents to get chances.

I always knew Velvet would be back. Hell I was never sold she was gone. It wouldn't surprise me if something like this happened.

TNA: We have an idea. We want you to feud with Angelina and we want you to change up your look. But the catch is you have to go away for a while so people buy it.

Velvet: So your going to write me off with an injury?

TNA: To set up the feud and gimmick change we think it would work best if you were "Fired."

I'm glade she is back and can't wait.

Former World Champion Returning To TNA Soon?

TNA officials are still talking with Bully Ray and while there's no deal in place, most in the company wouldn't be surprised to see him return soon.

Opinionated View- I would like to see Bully return as the guy has been a great part of the show and that feud with EC3 and Dixie was a real highlight to the year. But him not being there might open the door for others.

Team 3D Contacted By WWE, Bully Ray’s Bullet Club Promo

Both WWE and Team 3D have been in contact with each other about the possibility of working together in the future. Team 3D isn’t under contract with TNA anymore.
– As we previously reported, Bully Ray cut a promo at Bound for Glory about putting the Bullet Club, a New Japan Pro Wrestling faction, through tables. The promo was removed from the US airing. This is becuase neither TNA nor Wrestle-1 approved of the promos and didn’t want them to air. The promos were all Bully’s idea.

Details on Team 3D’s TNA Status and Potential Future (SPOILERS)

Last night as was scheduled, Team 3D was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in Tokyo.WZ reports that the event was “highly attended” by the TNA and Wrestle-1 crews as well as Japanese media. It is believed that Bully Ray wrestled his last match with TNA at Bound for Glory;  Devon will appear on TV in some already-taped episodes of Impact.
As to where they may go, the two came out at Bound for Glory with a Bullet Club T-Shirt and promised to put the Bullet Club through tables. This fits with Bully teasing that they were going to chase one of their “other favorite sets of tag titles” in the IWGP Tag Team titles, which they’ve held before. The current champions are Doc Gallows and “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson, who are of the Bullet Club.

Bully Ray Possibly Injured at Impact Taping

Bully Ray appears to have been injured at Friday night’s Impact Wrestling taping. According to someone at the event, Bully came off a ladder during a spot with Jeff Hardy in the triple threat Full Metal Mayhem match. Medics came to ringside soon after with Tommy Dreamer and others, helping Bully to the back as the match continued on.
Of course, Bully Ray is also working on a short-term contract with TNA to continue through Bound For Glory, so it is possible he was just written off TV.

Bully Ray May Appear at Next Impact Wrestling Tapings

- According to a new report from The Wrestling Observer, we may not have seen the last of Bully Ray in TNA, despite Ray not signing a new contract with the company.

Ray is reportedly expected to appear at the next set of Impact Wrestling tapings in order to continue the tag team series with The Wolves and The Hardys for the tag team titles. In addition, he and Devon are still set to receive a TNA Hall of Fame induction at Bound for Glory next month.

It is unknown if Ray wants to sign a new deal or if he is just working with the company on a per-appearance basis until Bound for Glory. Bully Ray's old TNA deal was reportedly not the level of Hulk Hogan or AJ Styles, so he could be angling for more money in a new deal.

Opinionated View- Given how many different dates that were reported as Bully's last day I'm still not sure if he was really leaving or it was the net fucking up and not wanting to admit it. But some more good news.

WWE Said to have No Interest in Bully Ray

- While Bully Ray is reportedly on his way out of TNA, WWE reportedly has no interest in signing him. They haven't been interested in the last year and didn't try to sign Devon when he was available. His age is against him, as is the fact that he has detractors in the company like Randy Orton.

While he could be helpful as a trainer or agent, WWE has all of those positions filled. There is also a hiring freeze due to budget cuts.

Opinionated View- The problem is for Bully is he can still work. If WWE is going to bring a vet back he has to someone like Flair or Hogan who can barely move or someone like Lesnar who will only appear a handful of times a year.

Update on Bully Ray's Status With TNA

In an update on Bully Ray and TNA, some conflicting reports have been released about his current deal with the company. Dave Meltzer is reporting that Ray's deal is expiring in the next few weeks, while Mike Johnson reported on Sunday that Ray's deal was expiring as of this weekend. At any rate, Ray held a locker room meeting at yesterday's TNA live event in Maryland to give them the news that it's likely he won't be back and to give personal goodbyes to the locker room. The news was said to surprise everyone in TNA because of how heavily involved Ray was backstage for TNA. It is believed by people in TNA that as of this point, Ray is done with the company.

Opinionated View- Well this gives me some faith because already the dirty sheets are contradicting each other. Let just hope things work out.

Breaking News: Is Bully Ray Done With TNA?

Bully Ray informed talent at tonight's 8/17 TNA live event in Hagerstown, Maryland that he isn't expected to return to the company after Sunday and wanted to personally tell everyone goodbye according to a report by Mike Johnson.
Ray's contract with TNA officially expires Sunday and the live event in Maryland is the last date remaining on his current deal. Based on what Ray told talent, it appears both Ray and TNA were unable to come to terms on a new deal.
What makes things even more strange is that Ray, along with Devon, is scheduled to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame this October at Bound for Glory in Japan. The company also setup a series between Team 3D, The Hardys and The Wolves that was expected to continue beyond the tapings in New York City. With the recent injury to Davey Richards and now Ray's departure from TNA, it would appear any plans to continue the tag team series is now off. Ray has been with TNA since 2005 and was working as an agent backstage as well.
Opinionated View- This would be a huge loss for TNA. We will have to see what happens.

can't say Bully hasn't earned it. And he does have a passion for wrestling and a understanding of the history of the business.
