Will TNA Induct Jeff Jarrett Into Hall of Fame This Year?

Wrestlezone reports that TNA will likely want to induct Jeff Jarrett into the TNA Hall of Fame this year. Their original plan was to bring back AJ Styles but Styles turned down the deal as he’s fine with working in ROH and NJPW.
Jarrett will be in the King of the Mountain match on Sunday, so the announcement would probably happen then. The actual ceremony would happen during Bound for Glory weekend later this year.

AJ Styles Comments on Where He and TNA Stand

After recent rumours of TNA offering a ‘big money’ deal to AJ Styles to do a one night only appearance including a match and Hall of Fame induction which he rejected, AJ Styles tweeted the following in response to a fan who said that “he must hate TNA”, revealing where he stands with TNA, and NJPW/ROH;
“It’s like this….@njpw1972 and ROH are my homes now. Some folks may hate TNA, I’m not one of them.”

Opinionated View- I'm glade to hear him say that. I get where AJ is coming from right now he's making his money in New Japan and getting a little side action from ROH. But I still think AJ will return to his true home.

AJ Styels Reportedly Turns Down TNA Hall of Fame

There's been no word yet if TNA will have a Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Slammiversary this year but they wanted former World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles to come in and accept an induction.
TNA reportedly pitched the idea to AJ one or two months ago but he turned them down. TNA offered Styles a great deal to come in, do the Hall of Fame, likely wrestle one match on Slammiversary and that that would ...be it.

AJ, the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion, turned the deal down because his priorities right now are Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling

Opinionated View- Well if its true it's to bad. No denying AJ belongs in the hall of fame and one more TNA match would have been great. That said it might be a good sign TNA is talking to him. And I still someday AJ will return HOME.

TNA News: Typhoon Headed For Tokyo, Host Of Hall of Fame Ceremony

 The TNA wrestlers and crew have arrived in Tokyo, Japan for their Bound for Glory PPV. It’s unknown if Dixie Carter is in Tokyo or not.

- Taz and Mike Tenay are not going to be in Japan. Instead, they will record commentary for the show from TNA’s headquarters in Nashville.

- Meanwhile, NBC News reports that Typhoon Vongfong is headed towards the Japanese coast. However, it is not expected to affect Bound for Glory at all. The storm will hit the mainland on Monday and will hit Tokyo on Tuesday. Wind speeds could reach up to 156 miles per hour, along with 19 inches of rain in Okinawa, Japan.

- Jeremy Borash revealed that he will host the 2014 TNA Hall of Fame ceremony, inducting Team 3D.

Team 3D To Be Inducted Into The TNA Hall of Fame

ARLINGTON, Texas (June 15, 2014) --- During Slammiversary XII live from Arlington, Texas, Olympic Gold Medalist and TNA Hall of Famer Kurt Angle announced the next inductees into the TNA Hall of Fame will be Team 3D, Bully Ray and Devon. 

Team 3D is one of the most decorated tag teams in professional wrestling history having won more than 20 tag team championships across various promotions, including twice winning the TNA World Tag Team Championship. In 2005 Team 3D was named TNA Tag Team of the Year and in 2013 were named TNA Tag Team of Tag Teams.

Having made their TNA debut in 2005, Bully Ray and Devon are known for their no-nonsense hardcore, taking care of business inside and outside of the ring, which often ends in putting their opponents through a table.

Team 3D becomes the third inductee into the TNA Hall of Fame, following the inaugural induction of “The Icon” Sting in 2012 and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle earlier this year.

A special induction ceremony for Team 3D will take place later this year.

TNA announced this evening that Kurt Angle will be in attendance at Slammiversary to announce the third member of the TNA Hall of Fame.
Sting and Angle are the current members of Hall.

Kurt Angle to Accept TNA Hall of Induction in London

Impactwrestling.com is reporting that Kurt Angle will accept his induction into the TNA Hall of Fame during the upcoming UK tour kicking off this week. Angle will accept his induction on 2/1 at the Impact Wrestling television tapings in London at Wembley Arena.
