Update on Undertaker’s WrestleMania 32 Status

Undertaker was reportedly telling those backstage that he felt great after his match with Bray Wyatt and that he planned to work next year’s WrestleMania 32 event. That event will take place in Dallas, TX.

Undertaker shared a locker room with Sting at WrestleMania, and also shared the same flight back to Texas. The site reports that they had discussions about working together, possibly next year at WrestleMania. That was reportedly WWE’s plan when they brought Sting in, but WWE Management has cooled on long term plans for Sting.

Opinionated View- Oh fuck here we go. First months on end of reports like this. Second to all the morons that are marking out over this I got news for you the match will suck. Taker has sucked for years and Sting has lost it no matter what some sheep were chanting. And I'm sick of Mania being old guys rule all night.

Recap of Sting's Interview on WWE Network

Following the TV portion of RAW, Sting did an in-ring interview with Renee Young for the WWE Network.

* Young started off by telling Sting that he finally got his WrestleMania moment and asked him what he thought about it. The crowd started chanting “Thank You Sting” and Sting said it all felt natural and amazing. He thanked the fans and said he was thankful that he got to be at WrestleMania.

* Young then asked him about his future. The crowd started up an “Undertaker” chant. Sting said he didn’t know what the future holds and is not sure what opportunities WWE will give him. He said if WWE opts to not give him any opportunities, it’ll be a shame as far as he’s concerned.

* Bo Dallas came out and called Sting “Steve” and that he was a favorite of his growing up. Bo recalled having his face painted up like Sting’s when he was a kid and not washing it for days. Bo then said that Sting lost his entire legacy at WrestleMania, and to succeed in WWE, he needed to Bo-lieve. Sting responded by grabbing Bo and giving him the Scorpion Death Drop.

* The announcers added on that the future for Sting is uncertain.

Update On Sting's WWE Status

As of last night, WWE officials had not decided on whether or not Sting will be wrestling going forward. This is why the angle with the nWo and DX last night may have seemed like a sendoff for The Stinger. Sting is open to working more dates if WWE wants him to.

Opinionated View- Given its WWE and they just keep putting legends all over the shows I'm sure they will do something for Sting.

Note on Sting’s Request For His WM Match

Word is that Sting specifically requested Charles Robinson to be the referee for his match last night against Triple H. The two go back to their WCW days, and Robinson is reportedly very well respected.

Sting Backstage at Raw

Sting is said to be in Des Moines, Iowa and will be appearing on tonight's 3/16 WWE RAW according to a report by Mike Johnson. Sting will be on the show to continue promotion of his match with Triple H at Wrestlemania 31 on March 29 in Santa Clara, California.

Update on Sting's Promo From Raw

- It was Sting’s voice during the “Point of View” promo on RAW, but it was altered. The promo was inspired by WCW’s Black Scorpion character from 1990. The character was portrayed by several wrestlers while feuding with Sting before it was revealed to be Ric Flair.

Will Sting Be On RAW Tonight?

- After last night’s confrontation at Fastlane, Sting was scheduled to return home to Dallas, Texas. He will not be on tonight’s episode of RAW. However, Triple H will appear to talk about what happened at Fastlane and react to the Wrestlemania 31 match

Original Plans For Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns At WWE Fast Lane, Update On Reigns Vs. Brock Lesnar

As noted, Daniel Bryan will now face Roman Reigns in the main event of WWE's Fast Lane pay-per-view with the winner facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Original plans for Fast Lane had Roman Reigns defeating a top heel, possibly Big Show, and Bryan being used to put Bray Wyatt over to keep him strong for The Undertaker. Regarding booking for Bryan, WWE wanted to put him into a feud with Sheamus for WrestleMania 31 but his opponent was switched to Dolph Ziggler after Bryan reportedly requested the change. It's possible that Bryan vs. Ziggler still happens. For what it's worth, people handling the actual promotion of WrestleMania 31 were still under the impression that Reigns vs. Lesnar will be the main event as of this week and in the promotional material, Reigns is to be the most heavily promoted, followed by Lesnar and John Cena. It's worth adding that WWE has not included Sting in any of the WrestleMania promotional material and since he's all but confirmed for the event, his involvement will be a major selling point so new material should be released soon.

Huge Match Set For WWE Fast Lane, Sting - Triple H Confrontation Also Teased For The Show

WWE started a new Authority twitter account today and teased two major events for the upcoming Fast Lane pay-per-view.The tweets read "Per the Office of The Authority and COO Triple H, John Cena will face Rusev at WWE Fast Lane on the WWE Network." Cena and Rusev filmed an angle after the Royal Rumble to kick off their feud.Also, a confrontation between Triple H and Sting was teased, with the company issuing the following tweet:

Speculation On Sting Appearing At Tonight's WWE RAW Reunion,

There has been a lot of speculation about Sting appearing on tonight's WWE RAW Reunion show from Dallas because Sting lives there and he's due for an appearance to further his WrestleMania 31 feud with Triple H.
As of 5pm EST, all of the top stars for tonight's show were backstage but Sting was not. If he were to make his RAW debut tonight, it's likely that he would be kept hidden until it was time to come out.One name who is backstage for tonight is Sheamus. We noted earlier that he may be making his return at this week's SmackDown tapings.

Sting Not Being Considered For This Year’s Hall of Fame

As previously reported, “Macho Man” Randy Savage is considered the top choice for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. There are people in the company who have been told that Savage will be inducted this year.
Another name talked about is Ray “The Crippler” Stevens, who has a history in the area where Wrestlemania 31 will be held.
Sting is not being discussed for this year’s lineup. Instead, he would more than likely be inducted next year as he lives in the Texas area.

Update on the Future Booking of Sting & Seth Rollins

At this time, the likely match for Sting at WrestleMania 31 is against Triple H. It is also being reported that another possible match for Sting in 2015 would be against Seth Rollins. Reports call this match a “long shot” at this time, but that it has been discussed.

Another theory is that Rollins could end up in the WWE Title scene sooner rather than later. Rollins holds the Money in the Bank contract, and as of late has been taking more losses, which often happens prior to a cash in.

Opinionated View- Sting? Oh you mean that guy that showed up once for five second has not appeared since. Look I'm a Sting fan but the orange is out juice. Sting vs. Triple H could have been a good match in 2001 but now hell no. It doesn't help as I said Sting has just disappeared. The only reason to Sting vs. Rollins is for Sting to do the job.

And I have never gotten the logic in having the guy with the MITB lose all the time. Maybe have him drop one or two matches to set up a natural number 1 contender. But to lose all the time. You want the champion to be Strong not a jobber.

Update on Sting’s “Vigilante” Nickname

 Many people have noticed that the WWE has been referring to Sting as “The Vigilante Sting” recently. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the announcers and talent have been told to use the “Vigilante” nickname for Sting whenever his name is said on TV. This is said to be a mandatory directive to the talent with no exceptions

How Many Dates Are on Sting’s Contract?

According to Busted Open Radio, Sting’s performer’s contract with WWE is for a total of just six appearances. That appearance list includes the one at Survivor Series, meaning that he has five left.
Obviously, one of those will be WrestleMania 31, so he will work four more dates leading up to the show.

Opinionated View- And people call TNA Stupid? When Sting worked for TNA he would appear more than five times before Bound For Glory. Of course this also means Sting wins the belt from Lesnar.

More Details on Sting’s WWE Debut: Status For RAW, Who He May Wrestle, WrestleMania Plan

According to Pwinsider.com, the decision to bring in Sting wasn’t made until Thursday. As previously reported, WWE wanted to deliver on a surprise and also wanted to push the “anything can happen” on the WWE Network idea.
Sting is not expected to be at Raw or Smackdown this week. The plan was for him to make the PPV appearance and then head back home to California. He may have pre-taped a segment for tonight, but nothing is confirmed.
In regards to who he may wrestle, the obvious pick seems to be Triple H due to their interaction last night. Pwinsider.com notes that the plan as of Friday was that Sting will wrestle Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. They mention that he could also wrestle Triple H at the Royal Rumble as a sort of introduction to fans not familiar with him.

Opinionated View- Oh god no. I don't want to see the disaster that a 2014 Triple H and Sting match would be. Let not even get started thinking Taker who can't walk having another mania match. Nice he can' even be bothered to appear on Raw the next night.

News On Why WWE Had Sting Debut Last Night At Survivor Series

WWE’s plan for Survivor Series last night was to push the WWE Network and show that anything can happen in WWE and anyone can show up on the Network. This is why Sting finally appeared on screen and why WWE announced both Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt at TLC and the Austin/Vince interview next week.
It’s believed that Sting also showed up to help promote WWE 2K15, which was released not long before the PPV happened. Finally, it’s possible that WWE added Sting’s name into the script earlier in the show (it was previously reported as happening right before or right after the Divas elimination match) in order to keep his main event appearance a secret.

Three Big Name Rumored For WWE Surivor Series

Yet another name is being rumored for WWE Survivor Series tomorrow. According to PWInsider, Roman Reigns is scheduled to attend the event on Sunday.
Per the report, it is not confirmed if Reigns will make an on-camera appearance or not, but he will be in attendance. According to an earlier report, Reigns is being locally advertised for an appearance at WWE TLC 2014 in December.
So the rumors all place Randy Orton, Sting, and Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. Some of the reports said appearances by Orton and Sting are definite.
Interestingly enough, Jim Ross commented on Twitter about the Sting appearance being a “planted leak.” Make of that what you will.

Report Says Sting Debuts for the WWE at Survivor Series

According to PWInsider.com, Sting is scheduled to make his WWE TV debut at Survivor Series on Sunday night.
As of now, Sting is only scheduled to appear at Survivor Series and not next week’s WWE TV tapings.

Opinionated View- I honestly don't where to start. Ok how many times have we had a report say Sting debuts for WWE ______? Hell last I heard he still hadn't signed an actual deal to appear. I almost think WWE is so desperate to get people to buy the network or order the PPV they are feeding this rumor out in hope of drawing in fans. Finally he appears so what? The card is bad and the build has been awful Sting isn't enough to save it. And I assume some will think he is going to join Team Cena. Now remember folks I grew up loving Sting I was the embodiment of what a little Stinger was but in 2014 he's past his prime he's at the point he need to just retire so no he shouldn't be wrestling.
