WWE News: Two international talent signs

Triple H announced the developmental signings of Indian performers Lovepreet Sangha and Satender. Follow him online at Twitter.com/TripleH.
Triple H noted that Satender is a two-time Kushti Indian National Heavyweight Champion, and Sangha is a Kabbadi League Champion and Lead Raider. Kabbadi was described in a Wall Street Journal article as an ancient Indian game that is "like a high-octane mix of tag and Greco-Roman wrestling."

Triple H And Seth Rollins To Feud?

- WWE officials have begun planting seeds for a possible Triple H vs. Seth Rollins feud.As seen Monday on Raw, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon threw a celebratory party for WWE World Champion Seth Rollins. During "Architect of a Dream," Triple H said he sees the reflection of himself in Rollins. Between that line and Rollins adopting the Pedigree, there is talk of the two WWE Superstars clashing in the future
Opinionated View- This is one I would take with a grain of salt. Mainly because this comes from that DM guy and it seems more like he's watching the show and speculating. I could see Rollins using the Pedigree as nothing more than a way to get heat and the idea it would make sense given his role as Triple H's lackey.  https://www.facebook.com/RealWrestlingNewsAndOpinionatedViews

Triple H & Stephanie Working to Change How Women Are Featured in WWE

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are big supporters of changing the way women are featured on WWE TV. Part of this comes from Stephanie’s female influence as well as the fact that Ronda Rousey has become such a popular figure in the sports world (she just had a Sports Illustrated cover) is a box office attraction in the UFC and is landing movie roles.
Triple H and Stephanie aren’t UFC fans, but they are fans of Rousey and feel that her success signals a sign that times are changing. With that being the feeling, they want that change represented in the WWE Divas division.
While this vision is being pushed in NXT, Vince McMahon reportedly still sees women in the roles they currently take on in the Divas division and he controls the main WWE product.

Opinionated View- Sounds good but I'll believe it when I see it. Plus are they going to feature talent worth watching? Look at the divas title right now. Nikki Bella who sucks is the champion and she is feuding with Naomi whose one move is jumping up in the air. Lord knows I don't want to see ore of that.

Hell there are reports that Charlotte hasn't been promoted to the main roster because she doesn't fit Diva look.

Returns Set For Raw

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will return to RAW on Monday’s episode, which airs from Cincinnati, Ohio. Stephanie has been off of TV due to touring overseas for the Eisenhower Fellowship. This led to the current storyline of Kane being in charge and feuding with Seth Rollins.

Opinionated View- Two very good reason not to watch Raw.

WWE Creative Stunned By Dana White’s Rousey Comments?

- As reported on Friday, Dana White said that Ronda Rousey’s appearance at WrestleMania 31 was a “one and done” and that Rousey won’t be working a match in WWE. Wrestling Observer Radio reports that WWE’s Creative was “stunned” over the comments as they were hoping to book the Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon match. With Rousey’s UFC contract, White has the capability to nix any sort of work with WWE so while Rousey has expressed interest, it is all up to White.
WWE has been talking about a possible tag team match with Rousey as well, and if neither match happens it is still possible she might appear in Rock’s corner for a match with Triple H.

Opinionated View- If this is true than it shows just how disconnected WWE is. Of course Dana White isn't going to let his biggest star risk getting hurt in a wrestling match. He might be ok with her appearing but wrestling it was never going to happen.

Arnold didn't do them until Saturday night at the WWE Hall of Fame. The delays with getting Arnold to do the voiceovers caused some major stress among people in WWE production.

Reported Incident With Triple H, Bill DeMott, and Kevin Owens

Now that former NXT head coach Bill DeMott has left WWE, some stories are starting to come out about him. One has to do with the NXT Takeover: R Evolution event that took place back in December. DeMott was the agent for Kevin Owens' debut against CJ Parker.

The match we saw was the one that the three worked out. Between not liking Owens, the big guy, doing a flip dive and not wanting so many moves in the opening match, DeMott did not like the match.

Owens reportedly complained to Triple H about the match and Triple H just said to let Owens do what he wants. This led to a lot of jealousy due to Triple H's talents that he's trying to build NXT around being able to do what they want while everyone else is micro-managed and told not to wrestle the indie style matches that get over.

Why Did Triple H and Stephanie McMahon Join WWE’s Board of Directors?

- The Wrestling Observer has an update on WWE executives Triple H and Stephanie McMahon joining the WWE Board of Directors. The move was reportedly made to help with the eventual transition for when the two will take over the company from Vince McMahon.

In addition, since WWE is publicly traded, there was a perception that Wall Street would not accept a former wrestler who has limited business experience as the new CEO of WWE. Triple H taking the position will help get him the experience needed for him to be groomed for that eventual role.

Triple H Lobbying For New Hispanic Star

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter Triple H is lobbying hard for a top Hispanic star in the company. The COO reportedly feels the company is in need of one with Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio gone demographic and is looking for a suitable prospect.

The company is looking for someone who fits the WWE “look,” can work well, stands around six feet tall and is bilingual.

Opinionated View- WWE has been looking for a new Hispanic star for years. And well given how WWE books these days they always flop just look at Sin Cara and Del Rio.

Triple H Responds to Chyna’s Claim of Abuse

During her appearance on Vince Russo’s podcast, Joanie “Chyna” Lauer claimed that Triple H had hit her near the end of their relationship. Here is her story from that podcast…
“So I think Hunter’s plan was to get me to leave the relationship first and then that way he can start dating Stephanie and like everything would be cool. So I would ask Hunter time and time again, I figured it was better just to address the problem and ask him honestly and I would have to believe his answer, so we got into a heated argument, we were not getting along, I told him ‘I know something’s going on. Don’t tell me something’s not going on.’ He swiped my hand, I swiped his hand, he hit me. I went back like Jerry Springer and then I was like OK that’s the deal breaker for me, the relationship is now over, so now I have to leave. After that, I know that he was crying and I know that he felt bad that he hit me, and my first initial reaction was to get up, and like I don’t know, I was just in shock and it felt like a Jerry Springer moment, it was very surreal, and I just couldn’t believe that he hit me. But he knows that like I don’t stand for physical violence, albeit we’ll get to that after with Sean [Waltman], so I knew at that point I had to leave, but I needed some sort of closure so when he was gone I started looking all over the house, and I looked into his, long story short, I looked into his briefcase and I found a love letter from Stephanie that had [been] dated a year back, so the whole time they were doing the storyline basically they were together.”
CageSideSeats reached out to the WWE for response, and Paul “Triple H” Levesque offered the following response…
“The false statements and reckless allegations made by Joan Laurer (aka Chyna) on a recent podcast about a physical dispute are a complete fabrication. While Joan has had significant struggles in life, this does not justify making such claims.”

News On The Backstage Reaction To Triple H’s Interview With Steve Austin

- A lot of people backstage in WWE were said to be rolling their eyes during Triple H’s appearance on Steve Austin’s podcast when he said there is no animosity between WWE and CM Punk. However, they did agree with HHH’s description of Punk saying “everything’s fine” when it’s not and believe it’s accurate.

They were also said to be surprised that HHH mentioned that he prefers two hours for RAW. It’s a popular opinion but there are no plans to go back because of the millions of dollars WWE gets in ad revenue from the extra hour.

During Triple H’s weekly interview with Michael Cole, he said the show had 40% more viewers than Vince McMahon’s appearance on the Stone Cold podcast in December.

Reason Why The Authority Returned on Raw

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Authority returning to WWE TV has been planned for some time now. The move to bring them back was reportedly not a reaction to the recent low ratings for Raw. WWE’s plans have been to set up a Triple H vs. Sting match at WrestleMania 31, so bringing back the Authority allows them to start setting up that match.

Sting’s next appearance for WWE has not been confirmed, but word is that he is not expected to be a surprise entrant in the 2015 Royal Rumble match.

Opinionated View- Bullshit the reason they returned fucking EGO! Triple H and Stephanie love playing top heels that's why they did it for over a year and now here we are right back to it. If you want to set up for a Sting vs. Triple H match you can do it without doing a heel boss story and without bringing back Stephanie.

WWE Backing off Triple H vs. Ryback Plans?

As was previously reported, WWE officials were reportedly considering the idea of a Triple H vs. Ryback match sometime after the start of the year based on the recent interactions they’ve had on TV. The discussion was to have the match at the Royal Rumble in order to build Ryback up toward a big match at WrestleMania 31.

However, that seems to no longer be the case. The Wrestling Observer reports that officials are cold on the idea of that match after Ryback’s match against Cesaro on Raw, which wasn’t well-received. It’s worth noting that the report says nothing about CM Punk’s comments about him or his reaction on Twitter, so there is no indication these played into the decision.

Opinionated View- Now if only WWE would give up on Ryback. Sadly I'm sure both Ryback and Triple H will wind up on the mania card. With Ryback WWE maybe stupid enough to try and drag out his feud with Kane to Mania. I'm sure Triple H already has a plan B because well it's triple h he not only booked himself on last year's mania he booked himself to beat up the guy that left with the title.
