WWE has signed Samoa Joe to a full-time deal, according to Sean Radican of PWTorch.com. Radican reports that Joe's merchandise sales were so impressive that Vince McMahon and Triple H pushed to get him signed to a full-time deal.

The Latest Details on Samoa Joe’s WWE Deal

Samoa Joe’s deal to work NXT events is said to be a “unique” one. The deal is a non-exclusive one, very similar to that of Rhyno, and it has very few restrictions. Word is that others could be brought in on the same sort of deal. Joe’s deal included a Samoa Joe T-Shirt (which sold out of its initial stock immediately) as well as the ability to keep his name since he is not competing on the main roster. The contract is for a limited number of NXT dates, and he can continue to take independent dates. The deal allows him to work pretty much anywhere he wants. The deal is considered unique because he is coming in, with his independent persona and getting pushed while still working elsewhere.
Joe isn’t committing to anything fulltime, due to the fact that WWE could decide to sign him for a full time deal. Joe was originally looking for an ROH return in September, but is currently schedule for the June 20th TV tapings. He has also had talks with the people from New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Details on Samoa Joe’s NXT Deal & Debut

As you likely know by now, Samoa Joe made his debut at the end of NXT Takeover: Unstoppable, staring down Kevin Owens after Owens retained his NXT Title. PWInsider reports that Joe was brought in backstage “just a minute or two” before he came out.

Samoa Joe Debuting With WWE Soon? (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

But according to Reddit user Falcon Arrow, who Reddit moderators have verified with digital and photographic proof of his insider status “as well as information that he otherwise could not know without being a legitimate insider,” Samoa Joe has signed a deal with WWE for at least two years and will be debuting at the end of NXT Takeover: Unstoppable.

As previously reported, Joe has been in discussions with the company since leaving TNA. The prevailing belief has been that he would begin in NXT instead of making a jump straight to the main roster.

Samoa Joe is likely to start with WWE in June. The site reports that it is not yet confirmed whether Joe has signed a contract yet, noting that there are often delays with the medical testing and other standard procedures.

Samoa Joe and WWE, ROH update

Samoa Joe is still expected to sign with WWE in April, as previously reported. In fact, while the original plan was for his ROH stay to conclude in late April, Prowrestling.net sources confirmed that the run is scheduled to end WrestleMania weekend event in Redwood City, California.

Opinionated View- I just don't see this going well. Yeah I know there are various guys like Owens or Zayn thare getting booked well. But remember that is NXT. WWE doesn't have a good history of booking former TNA guys well. And look at Cesaro great talent had some awesome matches in NXT not that long ago but on the main roster mostly wasted. Plus look at Joe's age and weight.

Than again maybe Joe saw how bad ROH is and felt he had to get out ASAP.

ROH News on Ciampa and Samoa Joe

- Tomasso Ciampa appeared to suffer a rib injury durign the main event of Sunday’s ROH 13th Anniversary show. Several people spotted him at the airport the next morning in a wheelchair due to his pain. Ciampa is being treated and ROH is hoping for a diagnosis within the next day.

Report Says Samoa Joe Is Close To Signing With WWE

According to F4WOnline.com (via WrestleZone), Samoa Joe is expected to sign with WWE soon. The deal is not finalized, but both sides are working on an agreement. Triple H is reportedly a big fan of Joe, and the feeling is that he is the one pushing for the deal.
Opinionated View- If Joe asked me I would tell him to pass on the deal. But I'm just basing that on just how WWE has booked former TNA talent.

Several Promotions Making Offers to Samoa Joe

There are no shortages of offers for Samoa Joe. Joe already has several dates booked with ROH, but there is also interest from WWE, AAA, Lucha Underground and New Japan Pro Wrestling. It’s believed that the NJPW deal could see Joe work in NOAH first and then working New Japan. As far as WWE goes, it is said that there are “active talks” between the two sides.
