Joe warned that whoever won the main event tonight, "your ass belongs to me." Joe promised to become the new ROH Champion and that he was pro wrestling.

ROH News: Wrestler says he will not appear at 13th Anniversary pay-per-view as advertised

Doc Gallows (a/k/a Drew Hankinson) announced on his Twitter page that he will not appear at the Ring of Honor 13th Anniversary pay-per-view due to weather issues in Detroit.

Gallows is scheduled to team with Karl Anderson in a Triple Threat tag match against Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian, and Michael Bennett & Matt Taven. ROH has yet to announce how they will approach the match

Opinionated View- Awful card. Main event will be trash Elgin and Ciampa are great but they not talented enough to carry Briscoe and Hanson. Lethal has been so wasted in ROH and the TV title means nothing. I don't care about El Patron and I don't think I ever will. The tag title match should be good but been done to death between ROH and News Japan. AJ doesn't bring his A game to ROH and well ACH is ok at best.

A Maria Kanellis match on PPV? What the FUCK ROH. Maria doesn't even belong in a dark match much less a PPV match. Sydal and Alexander cold be good but what has ROH done with Alexander since his "career making " win over Strong? 3 way tag could be ok but its a team totally wasted in ROH vs. a team that will just job to the Briscoes vs. A team that is making a one off. Strong vs. Whitmer is for the most boring wrestler in the world title.

Than we got what could be the worse match not just in ROH history, not just in PPV history. but the maybe the worse match in all of wrestling history. Marks Briscoe has always and will always suck! The guy is a spot monkey he blows basic spots and there are numerous guys that fly around much better than he ever has. Moose is way to green he should not be on TV much less on PPV.

If I were booking have Elgin cheat to win the world title. Have him cut a promo tearing down ROH and saying he will never lose the title again and than bang cue the music out comes Joe runs off Elgin. Joe picks up the microphone saying "I am Samoa Joe.... I AM PROFESSNIAL WRESTLING! And Elgin I will be ROH WORLD CHAMPION AGAIN!"

Opinionated View- I honestly think this is the worse card I have ever seen. Main event 2 guy with talent being hampered by two guys who shouldn't even be in the business and you just know dumb ass world champion is going to retain. El Parton has always and will always bore me to tears. Jay Lethal won't be able to get anything out of him especially with how poorly Lethal has been booked. Tag Title Match could be good but between there previous matches in ROH and now in New Japan Bullet Club vs. Young Bucks has been done to death.

I know right now internet fan is no doubt losing it over the New Japan tag champions coming in but guess what net fan that's not enough to save this shit card and honestly the Bullet Club in anymore stopped being interesting when Devitt left. ACH is ok but I'm not really a big fan and well AJ will phone it in. Strong vs. Whitmer for the Most Boring Wrestler title.

FUCKING MARIA GOD DAMN KANELLIS IS HAVING A MATCH ON PPV FUCK YOU ROH FUCK YOU! Seriously ROH what is wrong with you it's bad enough you try to make it seem Maria is a master mind now she's wrestling again something she has proven time and again she can't and for anyone about to post "Maria has worked hard did you ever see that match in ______" I've seen Maria's indy work she still sucks as much as she did in WWE. And finally Moose vs. Mark Briscoe FUCK YOU ROH! Delirious what drugs are you using? Moose sucks he's not good enough to work pre show dark matches vs. The guy that can't do the most basic moves. Opinionated View- Man I've seen bad cards before this is a real stinker. Jay Briscoe and Hanson in the main event they aren't worthy of man eventing a back yard show. No one cared about Del Rio in WWE so why should we care now? ROH dropped the ball on Lethal's heel turn and he's done nothing since turning heel.

Tag title match is a match we have seen plenty of time already. Don't except a great match from AJ because he doesn't try in ROH he saves the good stuff for New Japan. Strong vs. Whitmer a guy who has never been interesting vs. a guy who hasn't been interesting in years.

Opinionated View- What an awful card. Main event is trash. Jay Briscoe has no business working a back yard card must less main eventing a PPV. Hanson has zero talent and zero ability and ROH must be really desperate if they are pushing him to a main event. Elgin's fire has gone out not that I can blame him given the poor booking of his title win, run, and loss along with since coming back.
NO BODY EVER GAVE A DAMN ABOUT DEL RIO. But now because he's out of ROH and working for IWC darlings everyone is pretending he's got something. Del Rio was boring in Mexico he was boring in WWE and he's still boring. Lethal has done nothing since turning heel.
Bucks vs. Dragon has been done to death they had several matches last year even trading the tag belts last year. Than add in all there matches in New Japan.

TV Title Match Set For ROH Annivearsy PPV

Ring of Honor issued the following press release to announce the TV Title match for their 13th Anniversary event, which will be broadcast on pay-per-view.

Rumors of a dream match have swirled on social media but now it is official. The legendary, 2nd generation Mexican wrestling star, Alberto El Patrón, will challenge Jay Lethal for the Ring of Honor World Television Championship live on Pay Per View at our 13th Anniversary event.

Upon his arrival in ROH, Alberto El Patrón wanted an opportunity to speak with his fans on ROH Television. Alberto proclaimed that he was finally among the best wrestlers on the planet and he wanted a shot at the most important title in professional wrestling, the ROH World Championship. Lethal and his manager, Truth Martini took major offense to this and Lethal interrupted Alberto, telling him he should have done his homework before coming to class. Lethal made it known that he is the measuring stick for the best professional wrestler on the planet and that his championship was the most important.

This meeting of two very different athletes in the prime of their careers is something that does not happen very often. This rivalry has taken on a personal twist as Lethal feels Alberto overlooked him as a champion. El Patrón believes Lethal has challenged his manhood, something for which Alberto will not stand.

Main Event For ROH 13th Anniversary Show PPV

Ring of Honor has announced that the main event for their 13th Anniversary PPV will be a “High Stakes Four Corner Survival” match for the ROH World Title. The match will see Jay Briscoe defend the belt against Michael Elgin, Tommaso Ciampa and Hanson.

The move comes after a three-way #1 contenders match between Elgin, Ciampa and Hanson ended in a disqualification, which left the promotion without a top contender. ROH’s 13th Anniversary show takes place on March 1st in Las Vegas and will air on PPV.

Opinionated View- Ciampa and Elgin are awesome but they aren't good enough to over come having Briscoe and Hanson in the same match.

Cliff Compton Injured During ROH Anniversary Show

Cliff Compton suffered a concussion during his street fight against Kevin Steen at the ROH Anniversary show. He was originally supposed to do the TV tapings yesterday but was changed up so he didn't have a physical role due to the concussion.

The concussion happened when Compton hit his head doing a dive to the outside.

- Ring of Honor has announced the opponents for AJ Styles during their 12th anniversary weekend. Styles will face Jay Lethal on February 21st and Michael Elgin on February 22nd.
